Hello There. I don't know if you all remember me, however I had started a log a while back for my subwoofer...and was wondering if I could make another here. Or would I have to make it in the "logs" section of the sound solutions forum? The reason I want to post it here is because I have taken some really great high-quality pictures of the full install and I think more people would find it here.

  3. my pm's I've sent don't show up in my outbox/sent folder... is there an error on the site? I send one to shawn about the contest and a shirt/stickers thing, and actually pointing out I'd rather have Scott write reconed by sign his name and @ FI on the recones I'm getting but since it won't happen I'll take the shirt/stickers instead... unless of coarse scott does want to sign my cones instead in which case I'd pay for a shirt and stickers instead and may end up keeping the subs lol... unnLESS I could get him to sign other complete FI subs down the line... so people can complain as it adds dBs and that's why it's loud lol eh, 1am here, wife's pissed so I gtg... thanks…

im just wandering if its possible to fit 4 18's ssd's in a non-wall explorer XLT? granted, i know you cant just go out try it out, but i know alot of you guys have big suvs, and might have an idea. right now i have a range rover and i know i couldnt fit 24 cubes in there. any input is appreciated and i dont mind taking the backseat out but i really dont want to do a wall. the explorer XLT would be a later model like mid 90's if that changes anything

Hi, this is Logan from ecoustics. This is my FI BL 15" Dual 2ohm. It is powered by an Orion 2500D @ 1ohm. I have it in a 3.5cuft enclosure @36hz. This sub is by far the best I have ever had. It get way louder than my RE XXX 15" on the same amount of power. http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/5/330070.html

I read th eoptions explanation for the SSD but i was wondering if the copper coil increases the thermal power handling of the SSD i know flatwind bumps it up to about 1200 but i was possibily thinking about 4 SSD's + copper running off of 4000 rms

45 Bucks an hour on the Term Lab at a well known shop. They have won alot of the USACi comps... They leave me alone or come out with me and they will help me with settings and what not to decide what the best setup for me is for DD and then give me the settings for SPL comps. The guy I talked to(My friend used to go to him as well for SQ comps) said that we will be done in way less than an hour...but the extra time is nice to screw around with things.. Any thoughts on that? I thought it was a good deal

(btw- i was going to order 2 tc5200's and have this done, but they have the absolute worst customer service i have ever recieved, i.e.- they dont EVER respond to emails, or pm's on their own forum, and they are generally clueless) Scott has been more than …

Hi i'm in the process of building my box for the 15" BTL, I wanna know how long the port will have to be to have a tuning of 32hz. My dimensions are 40 x 20 x 20 with double bracing 3/4" MDF. i did the math and with the double bracing, the internal volume is roughly 7.5 cubes. I wanna know how long the port will have to be at 4", 5" and 6" tall. Thx guys, Fi rocks

Hey I am going to be getting 4 of the Fi Qs ( come summer ) and I was looking at getting 2 Soundstream 3500ds to power the 4 18s. What would be the best ohms setup to get on the Qs?

I was wanting to get a Q but then I looked at the new BL and it looked pretty much the same. But do they have the same SQ? I would put the options of cooling, flatwind, and universal.

  18. I have a crew cab titan, and with using glass/wood I can get around 2.5ft^3 or two 1.24ft^3 boxes... sealed would be easiest... but the subs would cost more... and I love the sound of ported boxes ... but it would likely go lower and higher and have just generally better sq... 2 BL 10"s ported... would be nice but I don't know exactly how much space I'd have after sub/port displacment and if the internal shape of the box would affect the performance alot to where it's as bad as a sealed box... I'm on the wall here and can't figure which way to go.. I suppose I could do the BL's 1st since it would be cheaper lol... and if I wasn't happy do the Qs later.. but if I weren'…

I was just curious about the specs on the lineup, specificly the Q.Maybe its just the picture but the Q18 looks like it has a small mag.Whats the weight of the whole sub?whats the mag weight in oz?Im sure its designed for that application but the BTL is the only sub that looks proportionate.Dont get me wrong everything Fi does I like.My eyes have a hard time with big sub little mag.Hope this makes sense to everybody!

Hey guys, Since I will be recieving my 15" SSD + flatwind pretty soon, I figured I would make an enclosure this weekend. It is 35x15.5x21, 3.5 Cuft tuned to 33hz. It was a 2 day, 5 total hour job, but not bad for a 16 year old making my first ported box. And now the pics: Day 1 Various angles of box all put together, screwed, and cauked. http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/593/sub...erbox063oi0.jpg http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/2065/su...erbox065jl1.jpg http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/754/sub...erbox064bt2.jpg http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/4791/su...erbox067qi5.jpg http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/8339/su...erbox067zj5.jpg Day 2 Carpeting Sides: http://…
