i have a s10 standard cab and was wondering if i will hear alot of motor noise from the 2 10in ssds if i mount them in between the seats inverted or should i just mount them behind the seats

I am going to change up my system, and i am trying to decide between two FI BL 12"s or four Kicker L5 12"s. I listen to mostly hip hop and rap, with some rock. I currently have 2 15" L7s, being powered by a MA AUdio HK802SX amp. I am going to upgrade the amp.. but it kinda depends on what sub setup i go with. I have just over 6cuft of space to play with... So what do you think, 2 Bl12"s or 4 L5 12"s? What will give me a better sound for all types of music? Any amp recomendations?

I see that the cutout for an 18" BTL is 16.75" when mounted normally. Is the cutout the same size when the driver is inverted, or does it have to be a bit bigger?

Was it FI that was making something called the FI X?? I have looked but can't find it and the search will not work for FI x to few letters together.. Alright hoping someone could help me out I need some measurements on a 10" Q. I need total height from bottom of magnet to top of surround and I see the mount depth is listed as 6.5". Is that depth listed the actual depth of the sub or does it include airflow room. If so about how much clearance do I need behind the magnet. I need to know because I plan on building some custom enclosures in my new magnum. I want to fit them in the rear pockets and still leave room for the lower tray to open. Anyone done these on here before and have any tips? Thanks guys.

I don't know very much about the x 12's and i was looking for some input. how do you guys think 4 x12's would sound in a tahoe with a ported box tuned at 30-32 hz with an epicenter? I will be running somewhere between 1500 to 2500 watts to them.

i have an original style (stamped basket) AA assasin 8 that needs a recone. would it be possible to: - get the newer style 12 spoke basket (8") - recone the sub to D2 or D4 instead of Single 4 - add another spider or something to stiffen it up a bit. if these things are possible, or if they aren't, but you can do a straight recone, how much will it cost?

Hey im selling my 15 Fi Q with BP Power in a 4 cubic ft. box and (4) 3" aero ports wrapped in ultra suede and tuned to 32hz. I wasn't selling on here unless someone desperately wants it but i was asking how much do you think i should ask for? I've had the stuff since march and never abused. I plan on buying 2 SSD 12's and I don't know much about Amps. I was wonder if anyone could recommend one or a pair of amps I should get too power them.

bought 2 BLs last year and they finally blew out, last night i ordered a recone kit for them, but i was curious is it possible to use a BTL con on the BL to handle more power??

I have been thinking about a sundown 1500d but it will come to around 660 can shipped. Looking for something cheaper available in Canada. Unless this is the best option then I will continue to save for it.

Anyone going to a show or comp in northeastern ohio running Fi subs? I've only seen & heard 1 and considering the set-up it sounded ok (1 Fi 18", kid doesn't even know the model or the rms, bought it used with a big ass Boss amp hooked to it in a sealed box). Hello everyone, pretty new to the forum but not a complete noob in car audio. I just had a q 12 installed in my EXT cab f150 hooked up to a hifonics brz17001.d. Unfortunately the brz is a faulty amp(not surprising) but in the process of getting a replacement. My question is to balance out my sound stage I am going to be putting in 4 new infinity kappa 5x7s(not set on them open to suggestions around the same price) and was hoping to throw a pair of tweeters in too. I was wondering should i go with a 4, 5, or 6 channel amp. I understand that if I want control of the fade and balance I need a 4 channel for the door speakers.
