Walls fully braced and tied in with Hardwood bracing for Zero wall flex. 45 degree boards in the corners to kill standing sound waves. Gold spring loaded binding post. Ports painted black. Gray Ozite carpet. it is going in a 04 ford explorer and my goal is SPL just wondering if this would work good…

Hello everyone, pretty new to the forum but not a complete noob in car audio. I just had a q 12 installed in my EXT cab f150 hooked up to a hifonics brz17001.d. Unfortunately the brz is a faulty amp(not surprising) but in the process of getting a replacement. My question is to balance out my sound stage I am going to be putting in 4 new infinity kappa 5x7s(not set on them open to suggestions around the same price) and was hoping to throw a pair of tweeters in too. I was wondering should i go with a 4, 5, or 6 channel amp. I understand that if I want control of the fade and balance I need a 4 channel for the door speakers. But should i wire the pair of tweeters to the …

hi i was wondering if i can buy just some parts from you mainly just two 15" cones with surrounds attached, and some spiders. i have frames and thread rod assemblies made for the application. and would like to make a couple of passive radiators. i would imagine i would need cones that are on the stronger end of the spectrum considering i have up to a pound and a half to add to each threaded rod. and i am not sure as far as spiders go. the one passive i do have uses just one spider, and it is most defiantly not very stiff.

well if someone could pm me with a price on reconeing a 18 to a 15 and part two is it possiable to fit 2 btl15's in a box 36wx30 or less deepx20h with a interchangeable port one at around 45-50hz and one at low to mid 30hz. Alright hoping someone could help me out I need some measurements on a 10" Q. I need total height from bottom of magnet to top of surround and I see the mount depth is listed as 6.5". Is that depth listed the actual depth of the sub or does it include airflow room. If so about how much clearance do I need behind the magnet. I need to know because I plan on building some custom enclosures in my new magnum. I want to fit them in the rear pockets and still leave room for the lower tray to open. Anyone done these on here before and have any tips? Thanks guys.

i have a lanzar OPTI 6000d- i have purchased 2 x 18 inch btl fully loaded, however i need help building an encloser. Can any one assist me??? i have a 2004 lincoln navigator. what type of encloser should i use???? im looking for something that pounds!!!

I see that the cutout for an 18" BTL is 16.75" when mounted normally. Is the cutout the same size when the driver is inverted, or does it have to be a bit bigger?

I don't understand ohms at all. But I'm ordering a 15'' BTL with an audioque 2200 watt amp. So it will just be 1 sub, 1 amp. What ohm should I run? and can somone maybe explain what it means to me?

Im not looking to push the sub i just want clean bass, I drive a scion hatchback so i figure no matter what i do this thing is going to fill the cabin. What amp are you guys running on this?
