Alright guys i have an old box for 2 15's. Its 10 cu.ft tuned to like 33 hz. Im wanting to get some new Btl N2's. But im not sure if i want to stick to 15's or cut the holes out bigger to hold 2 18's. What do you think i should do? Never had 18's. So Im trying to squeeze the most spl's out of it as i can. Also i will be using my Memphis Mojo 4kw amp.

Well this is my first post. This is a great forum I cant believe I havent discovered it till now. LOL. Well here is my story... I had a Kove Armageddon ZM 15" in a 2 cu FT enclosure in my F-150....well Since then I have moved on... unfortunately without a speaker system in my cars. I have a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 and I am planning on getting a 12" sub and setting it up in the floor of the hatch. (Ill be taking my spare out... Thats what AAA Platinum is for) Well here is my question. I want the sub to hit pretty hard but I prefer SQ over SPL. My idea is to build a sealed enclosure in the 1.2 cu Ft range for one 12" Fi Q w/ the BP option but the dilemma I have is that I have …

Hey guys, just wanted a little input on which sub will suit me best. I have a 2003 Buick Lesabre, stock alt for now, 0 gauge throughout, optima yellow top, and a SAZ1500D. I like to listen to mostly rap. I currently have a sundown z15 v.1 in a 3 cubic foot box tuned to 34hz. I like the sundown sub, but I want something that pounds harder and louder! I am looking at 3 different 12" subs. FI BTL fully loaded, Sundown Nightshade, or SSA XCON. Now keep in mind whichever one I choose now, I will be getting a second one down the road for a total of 2. If anyone has ever made a box for a 2000-2005 lesabre let me know because i am trying to build a box that ports through the arm …

  9. I want some different 15"s that will not neccesarily hit harder than my CVX'S but hit Lower and Sound better... The box will be sealed around 2.4 cubic ft per chamber....can't fit a ported box for 15"s in my car and i already had two 12" cvx's in a sealed box at 33hz and to me it didn't sound good or hit the lows like i wanted... The cvx's hit hard but still not low enough and they lack in sq also So what subs do you suggest will fit my needs?? Thanks

I need your help guys, I have a 2000 chev. S-10 third door extenened cab. Which sub do you think will hit and sound the best. (1) 12Q sealed, (1) 10Q ported, (1) 10BL ported. I listed to mostly hard rock bands like TOOL, STAIND, SEVENDUST ect. Thank you everyone for helping me. By the way I am facing the sub toward the bed of the truck which should produce a nice backwave.

Whats up Everyone, Im new to this site, and hope to gain alot of knowledge from you all. I have a 2004 Escalde, and in trying to decide if i should go with 8 BTL 12s or 4 BTL 15s. I have two Soundstream 10000D amps, 8 kinetick 2400 batts, and a 2nd alternator for the additional batteries. I was running the solo x 18 but im ready to add more cone area and go for a different sound as well as move some serious air. Im not trying to build a wall tho. Ive been doing some reading and im hoping that these woofers will give me what i want. Any suggestions would be great appreciated..thanks in advance. G

I'm going to be putting 2 loaded Fi BL 18's in a wall in my focus zx4. I was just wondering what configuration you guys think might work best: 1. subs side by side with port(s) in the middle 2. subs side by side with port on drivers side 3. subs side by side and port(s) on top ...and no I dont have room to do one on top of the other, with port on the drivers side. Thanks guys!

I am having the hardest time deciding on a sub/amp combo for my new car. I am putting this in a trunk so space is a factor. I'd like to retain some space. The poll lists some of my top choices. I'm also considering porting a Q 15 with one of the amps listed or even porting the SSDs if I decide I can live without a little less trunk space. So my question to you would be if you were looking for LSQ, which of these setups would you choose? If you would do something else, please tell me what that would be. Just FYI, the electrical you would be working with is a stock electrical featuring a 130 amp alternator.

I know meade does, but I mean anyone on this forum. looking to add some numbers to the FI count so noobs can see what the subs are capable of... and 3 year noobs don't count foo's! Tom

Had to shim the gap to respace it evenly, and you can see the bottom left screw isnt there and that lines up with where the crack first showed up A little innovation and lots of epoxy fixed the magnet Looks kinda artsy if you ask me If youre wondering about the 18 ga wire coming out of the sub those are my leads to the coil since I blew that a few months ago and rewired my own Just thought Id share my most recent headache with the Q, but its back to beating and sounds pretty good so I cant complain a whole lot, or maybe i should and try to get a discount on the…

I noticed my sub isnt working at all. I thought there was a problem with my amp, or maybe the speaker wire came off inside the box. So as i checked all the aforementioned things, i pressed down on the cone and got a little burp of bass, but nothing else constant. Did i blow my sub? Is there any way to determine whats wrong? Any solution as to fix it?
