I was about to pull the trigger on a Q. Got to the check out page and it says shipping is $53 dollars? Seems a little steep to me. I've got stuff overnight shipping cheaper then that! Is this the normal shipping charges?

Would like to buy a Q motor and a 15" basket so I could throw the extra soft parts I have in it. I am using Fi soft parts for the recone. I have an extra Q Fc D1 I would like to build this sub for myself and give my pre-09 to my buddy for xmas. What would the pricing and shipping look like for this motor, basket, and some glue? =/

Hi I was just wondering how long you would typically have to wait for a recone kit to be shipped? I live in a Seychelles so had to get a third party shipper to order the recone kit for me, so I have no way of knowing how far in the process it is. I am just curious because I noticed a lot of people asking about their recones and would like to get mine before christmas. Thanks

Can someone please explain the Internal Lead option to me and tell me if it's worth the extra $25? I looked in the tech section but the Internal Lead option doesn't seem to be explained in there for some reason. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Since copper coils are now standard on the SSD line, I was wondering if the flatwind voice coils are also copper?

Id like to say hi to every one since i am new to the forum. I am considering buying 2 Fi SSD 12" and i was wondering which amp would be the best for these subs. Also which gauge wiring would be best and any other things i would need to get the best performance out of these subs.

I think I finally decided on the Q. Now I just don't know which options are going to work best. I don't have an amp yet, but plan on getting something that is around 1200-1500. What I'm looking for in a sub, is one that will work best in a small sealed enclosure (around 1 cube), has great transient response, and can drop low. It is an old, old sub now, but my favorite by far has been the MASS 2012, and I just can't find a sub that is equal or better. The fs of the Q kind of makes me nervous, as the MASS was around 25 and the q is 34. My front stage consist of a DLS up6i set, being powered by an amp that is 150x2. How much space do you need between the box and subwoofer? I have 6.25" deep box and i really want a pair of ssd's but with a mounting depth of 6" i want to make sure that ventilation and performance wont suffer.thanks-Dave.

He said mine was crystal clear, but not very loud. The only thing I have going against me is my sub is pointing straight up at a panel, until I can get a box that fits. Fella's i was wondering about the decals from FI. I want to purchase the white decal so it will show on the rear window of my car but which color do i choose on the page here to get the white decal? Also the ones they send with your purchase dont work at all. How do you get the to not show the rear when installing them on your car?

I have ordered a 10 ssd sealed Qts. Looking to build a custom sealed box for my 2010 camaro. Since i want it to be as small as possible, I am looking at doing 15" w by 11"h by 9"d. Do these dimensions make sense? Would a different shape or size make the sub play better? Thanks
