General Fi

I have a 10" FI Q and a Audioque AQ1200 amp. The amp is a mono but it has 2 speaker terminals. How should it be hooked up?? The sub is a Dual 2 ohm, wired to 1 ohm. The way I have it hooked up right now is 1 positive wire going to the positive connector on terminal 1 and the negative wire going to the negative on terminal 2. Is this correct?? #494 I ordered a ib3 recone and glue 3 months ago. I got my recone with no glue about 1 1/2 months ago. FI/shawn has said he has shipped it 3 times. Should I just go to the hardware store and get some epoxy? Not Happy, i paid for the glue but ................... this is b/s

ok so the custom box ive got is for 4 15's and has 2 ports each allegedly tuned to 32hz but they both sit up top with woofers firing at the roof, does having the port in different areas help or does it depend on the vehicle?

Just curious why I am being jump all over for the situation. No where did I talk down about FI. I did make a neg comment about the forum after I was attacked, for which I will apologize for. I was about to place a order for a pair of BTLs until I read the warranty info "WHAT IS NOT COVERED? This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed. *DUE TO THE EXTREME NATURE OF ITS INTENDED USAGE, THE BTL SERIES OF SUBWOOFERS HAS NO WARRANTY COVERAGE (outside of arriving in proper working condition after shipping)" So if I want a sub with warranty coverage I have to choose a lower line like the BLs?

Been working with a lot of split coil stuff lately with SG3 (Supergauss 3 for those who don't know) and some Industrial applications..thought some of you would like to see some really big off the wall cool stuff that we do that you simply do not see anywhere else...The coil on the right is the original 4" XMX...the one on the left is a 3" coil that we are using for an industrial application. Hi, I am completely inexperienced with electrical stuff and have a question about which amp would be better. I have a F-150 extended cab and am planning on getting rid of the back seat to open up a whole lot of a room for a box because I am tired of little systems and am looking to go "all out" this time around. I have a older dual slug Q and I want to run two Q's now. Would I run into any problems running a newer Q with athe older one in a ported enclosure?

Thought I would share some of my install pics on my Chrysler 300. This was built to be a SQ car and the whole theme was to make the car to appear as factory as possible and able to return the car back to factory when that need arrises. There are only 2 factory pieces that will need to be replaced to return it to that form. the dash bezel, A pillars are the only thing modified that cannot be returned to house the factory equipment. the doors were not cut into, actually the factory speaker grills were plastic welded in place and we can simpliy remove the buildouts and reweld them back into place. i have a 1998 buick century im getting a box build for my trunk for an 18 inch BTL, but one problem my back seat dont let down. i can't take it off because i have kids just wanting to know from you guys would that 18 still sound good with back seat being up?
