General Fi

I have a 10" FI Q and a Audioque AQ1200 amp. The amp is a mono but it has 2 speaker terminals. How should it be hooked up?? The sub is a Dual 2 ohm, wired to 1 ohm. The way I have it hooked up right now is 1 positive wire going to the positive connector on terminal 1 and the negative wire going to the negative on terminal 2. Is this correct?? ok... so i know everyone has already seen one before but everyone also knows when you get it in the mail all you want to do is show it off. incredibly sexy, dont hate. just love. 15" D1 BTL cooling, 3rd mag, hixm coil, daily. Hello forum. I have an FI Q sub which i have received on 7/15/2011. I finally got it professionally installed on 7/26/2011 by my local audio shop a few days after receiving my Audioque AQ1200 amp. It was playing fine until after about 5 hours of play time. The only extra option it has is the cooling package. I hear a weird rattling noise comming from the sub itself. I thought at first maybe it was my car rattling, or the box, but then i took the sub out and played it in free air for a few seconds and came to the conclusion that it was the sub. it sounds almost as if your hitting the dust cap with ur knuckles or the license plate is vibrating. other than that, the …

Hi, I am driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee (1993) and my current set up is a Memphis MOJO on an Alpine PDX 1.1000. As far as wiring, i have 4 AWG power wire for the amp (Knukonceptz Kolossus Fleks Kable), and I have put in a 0 AWG wire (also Knu) for the battery to chassis ground. I was going to complete the big 3, but was told by a mechanic that the other two were not necessary for my setup (stock 90 amp alt currently.) I receive decent voltage drops (almost massive at idle if i'm not careful.) and it PWNS..........not even broken in yet and its amazing Thanks to Phill at Woodlawn Cabinetry for making me a 2.5 CF ported stealth box for my silverado I powered the Q with my an eD 9.1 and I am running some ADS 346 comps I picked up on a whim a few weeks ago powering them by my Diamond D5600.2(150x2) amp and I must admit the SQ makes me giggle while I listen to my fav tunes,this system I put together is my best yet right out of the box......The bass is tight and incredibly detailed,compared to my TDX its louder and clearer - This is exactly what I have been looking for and I couldent be happier - Keep up the good work Mitch

hi folks i have two 12"ssd's running right now in my car in a 6th order box off of a crossfire VR4000d i have the woofers wired right now @4ohms for 2k. between the q's and the bl's which is the better selection to run in that box and what options would i need? i am not a competitor but i want to be able to slam my woofers now and again without worrying that they will fail. those two ssd's are giving what they can lol. dont get me wrog the ssd's sound great but whats the use of having a 4000watt and 270 amp alt two batcap 2000's if u aint gonna go into beast mode every once and a while? and before anyone slams me for a 6th order box, it's the onlyone besides a fourth orde…

Ok, so I order a new loaded BTL 15 on July 5th...It I got it yesterday so it didnt take long at all(it actually made it in a day earlier than UPS said it would). I got it all installed and its everything I wanted it to be. I look inside of the box and......NO STICKERS!!! The last BTL I had didnt come with stickers either but I was jus like...ok ...whatever...I'll get some next time I get a sub. STILL NO STICKERS!!! Do you hate me Scott? I not really mad lol! well its been about a month and im happy to report that my subs are breaking in a little....they are still very stiff so they arent all the way broken in yet but they sound better every day My laptop is broke so i cant meter it ATM and i dont really have a place to do it anyway (or the time to do it) but to me, knowing what it DID sound like, i have to say its louder and has more authority. I can tell by watching the hairtrick vids i made that there is a difference. Also, i usually use the large screws with #3 heads to hold the subs in but for the past year almost i have had to use the "gold" screws from home depot and put them in at an angle to get to "fresh meat". …

so i just sold me Rockford t1000 and am debating on getting a aq2200 for my bl fully loaded wired to 2 ohms. So what i was asking was what is everyones thoughts on aq amps. are they pretty underrated and will it draw more power then my rf amp did, do they get hot at all or has anyone had anything bad to say about them. I ordered my BTL 15 thursday the 19th. It is now the 31st. i got the email from UPS about them having my shipping label but its still not sent out. I know im kinda jumping the gun but im anxious and just wondering if there is any delays on these woofers as of now or when i can be expecting it to be sent out. Thanks a lot.
