hey whats up fellow bassheads, i had bought my had a 12" re seX for christmas and he has loved it in a sealed box. Ok so he needed to use my car the other day for a trip so he let me use his truck for work. So i was checking out his settings on his amp to see if they are where they should be and the bass boost was on a little bit so i turned it off. ok so i went back to check out how the sub was doing and i gently pushed down on the cone to see how stiff it still was. when i pushed down easily i felt like a scrubbing or kind of a gringing against something?? I have no idea what this could be or could it be blown? i thought it was not normal but then again it doesnt sound …

Does anyone out there have an idea as to when these drivers are going to be in production. I contacted Fi two months ago and they told me it was a month away and they would be at a new web site blueprintdrivers.com. It has been quite a long wait and I'm starting to think that I might just go a different route. One can only wait so long before you start to look else were. I hope someone can give me some hope to hold out just a little longer. Thanks

Compare the BL 10 to the SSD 10 and the ssd has the same xmax so wouldn't it move the same air therefore being the same. and on the website it say the bl has 18 mm xmax and the ssd has 21mm so wouldnt the ssd be louder then?

I'm probably going to get a Bl 15 soon so i was reading the "tech" section on the fi website about the BL's. One thing i didn't understand is why they said that they recommend getting the P-chamfer option when they don't even offer it for the sub as far as i know. If you look at the bl's that option does not show up.

Hi guys, Im looking into adding a sub to my 2008 altima (with Bose) Im not looking for anything extreme in RMS liike when I had my RE HC a few years back in my older car. The sub I am looking at is either a 10 or 12' X. I have to admit im confused with the BP option. How much RMS does this add to the sub? The amp I was considering was a Diamond 300.2 that I can get at a very good price. Can someone also recommend a box for this sub? Preferably ported and if someone can let me know how this sub compares to something like a Diamond D3. I know its a lot of questions, but I do appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

  11. I want to push 8-10kw to 4 (four) 1-ohm DVC 15" Fi BTLs. (I'm too scared to go much above RMS, you freaks.) What are my options? The subs can be wired to 2ohms. I was originally planning to go with two strapped Sundown SAZ-4500ds but they are now discontinued and unavailable. I then almost ordered a Warhorse but at the last moment read the manual and it's got some fucked-up wiring scheme that means you can't hook up 4 1-ohm DVC subs. After that my options seems few and far between for this much power. Please suggest some amps that actually look like they might be in stock somewhere...

ok guys so i came across an alt on ebay and its pretty and i was wondering if you guys could take a look at it and let me know what you guys think because i just dont have the funds right now to buy a dc as much as i want too. Iv been told that some people just take alt's from other vehicles and whind the crap out of them to make them produce more power but im not too sure about that. i really need a new alt because my civic only has a little 70a alt which prob wouldnt handle a 4channel amp lol. ok so here is the ebay link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HIGH-OUTPUT-ALTERNATOR-HONDA-CIVIC-01-02-03-04-05-160A-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1e635e83bcQQitemZ130516157372Q…

  15. hey everyone i'm looking to make an upgrade. i currently have 3 12's a crunch gp3000d pro amp which is suppose to be underrated at 3kw rms at 1ohm. i also have 0 gauge wiring a 300 amp alt fatmat throughout the entire vehicles i think two layers in some place but atleast one layer throughout the entire vehicle. i have an optima red top under the hood and a kinetic hc1800 in the back for the subs. i have a 1997 ford explorer sport (2 door) and i am interested in either 2 fi btl's 15's or 1 fi btl 18 n2 model i have enough space to run the 2 15's or the single 18 with no problem now my question is which would give more output. i love lows so im looking to have the box tune…

Hello everyone, ok so i had just bought a 2005 honda civic a few days ago and want to put my 12" bl and my aq2200 in it. The honda civic has a 70a alt (terrible yes i know) and a 500 cca 85m reserve battery in it. what im wanting to do is the big 3 which i have my 0g on its way to my house and then upgrade the battery for now because i need to save up for a 170a dc alt. Ok so what im wanting to know is what battery would be better but still fit in the stock location? iv looked everywhere and all i can find is a yellow top that is rated at the same as my stock battery. im only hooking up my aq2200 for now cuz my car wouldnt be able to run my mid/high amp also until i get m…

Some of you might've seen my scores before. I have 2 12 BTLs in a 4.2 cube box tuned to 33 hz. I'm running the AQ 3500.1. My burp score is currently at 142.7 (2 batts) at 38 hz in my 02 Camry. The score seems alright for a trunk car, especially at that frequency. Well I clamped my amp, car was on this time with 3 batts. My rise is from 1.0 ohms to 4.5 ohms and I only clamped a little over 1,000 watts out of my amp. So for my 142.7 run, it's probably a safe guess to say it was only around 800-900 watts. In conclusion, I'm more satisfied with my score now seeing on how little power I'm using. Sucks that my rise is so bad.. But.. GO BTLs!

Ok so everyone keeps telling me to go get the big 3 upgrade done cuz its a pretty simple way to relieve stress from numerous things. Ok so i go to my local shop today to get a quote and learn a lil more about what it takes to do it. The guy comes out and looks at my car and i tell him the 3 wires that i want to upgrade to 0g. so he comes in and starts crunching numbers on his calculator and comes up with a price of $263??? I almost walked out of the store right there haha but all the stuff was good quallity. all was RF power and ground wires and new terminals and rings and the whole 9 yards. but nobody every told me that i would need all this stuff for a big 3 upgrade. So…

What is the difference between the 12" Fi BL 3" coil and the 4" coil. Will 4" coil make it handle more watts and/or make it louder. Or is it for cooling. If anyone knows the difference between the two please let me know. I am planning on ordering a sub really soon just need to know the difference and benefits of each.
