I have a pair of Q 15's that I have had since november 2006. I had them in my old 89' Range Rover in 8Cubes tuned to 30Hz. I loved them like that. Well I just got a 1995 Integra hatchback. I have them sealed 5.1cubes after disp. and WOW. I thought they were a nice driver before but being sealed they are on a whole other level. I just cant describe it. The bass is so accurate, smooth, and beautiful sounding. It just sounds 'solid'. They play lower and also hit the higher frequencies better. They play so much flatter (not peaky). Whats the difference? Also for a mono block amp i should buy a dual 2 ohm fi?

Is there a longer than normal lead time right now? I would imagine tax return time is a busy part of the year for car audio companies. I know with my past orders from Fi they would end up being shipped after two weeks. Im at three weeks right now and havent gotten a shipping label notice yet. I know they'll "get here when they get here...but im just wondering if its gonna be a much longer than usual wait. Was hoping to get mine by this thursday so id be able to demo my 4 Sp4 15s at our annual company meeting, but not looking good now. Definitely be some disappointed coworkers lol.

So I have been suggested to run about 125sqin. or port to make the lowend comeout. Well that would result if a very large box wich I dont think I can fit. I May be able to squeeze 12 cubes out of my truck, should that work?

I have a 12" bl and today I am pretty sure I blew the voice coils on it. I was driving around and the sub cutout and I opened the back of my jeep to see that there was smoke coming out of the port. I know for sure that I had everything wired right and i didn't even have the gain up that high( a little over half). I am going to re-cone it but I was wondering if anyone knows what could have caused this so I don't blow the new I get. Thanks

Ok i am obviously looking into a FI subwoofer but am confused and having difficulty choosing which one i should get. I heard the BL has more output but the Q hits lower. I want to push my sub at around 1000 wrms. I have a pontiac grand prix and want something that is gonna rumble and turn heads but be able to put out power. The main thing i want to do is put my friends to shame who think their 10" audiobahn is the stuff. Please help me decided. I need opinions. Thanks !!

Ive been contemplating this recently and was wondering how the Fi would do in home audio? I am considering a a IB or a Q but then again I have a spare BL just sitting here. Which would work best and how well will they really perform. Lets be honest here I want loud and good sounding in my car but for home use I am more focused on SQ then breaking things. Thanks

Runnin an AQ2200d, Alpine 9584 head unit, tuned in a 2.2 Cubic foot box to 31 htz. The clicking noise only occurs on a sudden knock of bass & Is repetitive in fast bass lines but only in high notes. In low notes it does perfect. Whats goin on?

What are the differences if both would be ran on a sundown saz 1500? I have a fully loaded bl now and it's not as loud as I expected. Would the 2 12 in ssd subs be louder?

I want to push 8-10kw to 4 (four) 1-ohm DVC 15" Fi BTLs. (I'm too scared to go much above RMS, you freaks.) What are my options? The subs can be wired to 2ohms. I was originally planning to go with two strapped Sundown SAZ-4500ds but they are now discontinued and unavailable. I then almost ordered a Warhorse but at the last moment read the manual and it's got some fucked-up wiring scheme that means you can't hook up 4 1-ohm DVC subs. After that my options seems few and far between for this much power. Please suggest some amps that actually look like they might be in stock somewhere...

hey guys im running to sundown saz1500ds strapped at 2 ohms, and 2 btl 18s dual 2s in my s10. i recently reconed. when i slam on them for a few minutes, one woofer gets hot real quick, the other gets warm. they both slap just as hard, but i cant figure out why the one woofer is getting hotter. i checked the tinsels where i soldered it looks good, same as the other one. all the connections are good as well, im using all 8awg wire. i set the gains using a multimeter and there gettin the right voltage the calculator gave me (3000w at 2 ohms - 77.5v) . i also swiched the woofers so the one getting hot was on the other side, and its still only that woofer getting obnormally wa…

Hey guys, could one of you update me on the situation with my claim with usps you filed for me? Its been I do not know how long exactly but I figured Scott would have heard something back from usps by now. I know they take forever, I went down to the office I shipped the motor from and asked how long claims take, the woman just handed me the paper to file a claim . Anyway, if you guys can't remember I am: Sean Burnette and I mailed a Konaki motor to Fi through ups which was lost, Scott filed the claim for me and said he would keep me informed or let me know whats up with it. i am looking for the best amp for under $300, i am looking for an Sq system, I have a Fi Audio Q12, and custom ported box, tuned to 32hz, I have a 2007 honda accord V6 EX-L. Trying to get in contact with anyone at Fi is impossible, so maybe someone can help me out. Scott emailed me about 2 months ago saying that it was 75$ to re cone my SSD and add a few little upgrades. Now, can my SSD be re coned into a Fi Q? And how much would it be. I know the baskets are the same. When you send the sub back, do i have to pay for Shipping both ways? How does this whole thing work. I'm not going to pay for the re cone up front because what if they don't send my Sub back and i get screwed. Will they send me a bill in the mail of how much it cost for the re cone and for them to ship it back to me? Sorry for the questions, im Very new to this. Thanks Rulayd

I am about to order a recone for one of my 2005' XXXs and had a few questions about the recone itself. I know you have reconed alot of these woofers over the years and was wondering if you change the recone composition at all(besides your cone) when compared to the stock XXX composition? Will the woofer still have it's 1500-1600rms capability? Will the recommended enclosure change at all? I was able to effectively salvage the original XXX full face dust cap. Can it be re-used with your recone? In addition to the woofer I am about to recone, I received another misaligned 2005' XXX motor in the purchase. So.....I just installed the 4 Q15's in a sealed enclosure (8.6ft^3 after displacement) running on a IA 40.1. The car is a '07 Dodge Magnum, a 140amp Alt, and a 2nd NSB90 Battery. The meter was an AC, but it was recently calibrated and actually metering about 3 db lower then the other one I was previously metered on...(not that that reallly means anything) anyways, I hit 163.5db outlaw and 162.1db legal. I am competing tomorrow on another AC, and I'll let you know how I score there.
