I have a Rockford 1000bd, and I'm getting a box made 2.0cu ft tuned to 33hz. What sub will have a better output as far as SPL. 12" Fi Bl or (underpowered) Btl? The reason that I ask is because I don't want to spend the money to get a HO alt for this particular car. Volvo 1996 960. I currently have a 120 amp alt. I have a Pioneer Premier w3001 1000rms. and before I got the Rockford P1000, I had a Trash ass sony Xplod amp 400rms, which was from my last set up. the trash ass xplod amp and my old Kenwood 3012 400rms, sound completely better than the xplod and Pioneer Premier set up. I am going to build my box for the sub before it arrives but not complete it fully until I have made sure it fits etc. Now I need some help with the dimensions. I have this plan who someone sent to me and I am wondering if it should work pretty good. Base is 24depthx24heightx36width port is 5" wide and 27.25" long 22.5" height. Is this correct with 8cu ft box and 1.77 cu ft port? so 8cuft tuned to 32hz? any input? anything will be gladly appreciated.

I emailed Scott@Fi for the box dimensions. Is it true that if i use those dimensions, its a prefab box? Someone told me. If i use FI's box dimensions, is that like buying a box right off the shelf?

i have a btl 15 last years model just ordered this years model (n2) trying to get a box build for both the subs but dont know if all the measurements are the same just need some info thanks........

Last month I asked for advice on what subwoofers to get for my Yukon. FI suggested SSDs with copper coil. I was going to order these asap but my wife asked if i could wait till after Christmas. I was all butthurt for a day or two but I agreed. Yesterday morning I get out of bed and two huge boxes are sitting under the tree that we not there the night before. You guessed it the wife found a way to order them ( yes she even got the options right) with out me having a clue. The subs look great thanks FI. Lance Alexander

ok, i have two q 15's w/ bp power and I was just wandering what the actual power handling of these is with the bp power? I want to power these with an IA 40.1 if not too much and my box is 8.18 cuft. tuned to 27hz. I also have two optima 34/78 yellowtops in the rear and a red top in the front with dual runs of 1/0 to the rear and dual 1/0 will be going into the amp also. thanks

I ordered two 12' Fi BL's a week ago and it said they were still processing it. They won't respond to my emails and they don't give a phone number to contact them with. This cost me a lot of money.. when can I expect to see a tracking order? Or a full refund if I don't get my subwoofers.

So my grandfather comes down for a visit in his new car, one of those two seater fast driving Caddy's, nice car. He sits and listens to my system, seems to love it. Out of no where this 72 yr old throws me in his car and cranks up his radio. He has an SQ setup using 3 10" eclipse subs (not sure what type, but nice), and two sets of Rainbow Germaniums. That stuff sounded nice. For the first time I was listening to something that didn't just throw out so much bass that is almost all you could hear. To make things better, my old lady is makin me sell one of my trucks to get a car in the next couple months, meaning a new setup. I will probably be on here asking all sort…

I fried the coils on my Crossfire BMF XT15 and cant seem to find a place to get a crossfire re-cone.... I was wondering if Fi could/would recone it. Please let me know if someone can help. Thanks, Cody

Hey everybody, I'm new here and new to Fi products. I heard a single 15" in a local parking lot and was blown away. I'm looking to purchase an 18" BTL (any other suggestions?) enclosed in a ported box. I'm trying to stay under the $1500 mark . I really have no idea what amp I should purchase or if 2 15" will be louder. I'm 16 and I don't have my car yet, but I will be getting a 2004 Pathfinder. P.s I'm trying to out do my friends 2 15" mojos with a 3000 watt stetsom amp. Any suggestions on a set up would be awesome (and the final cost of course) Thanks, Daniel

So I was on my way to work this morning and saw a dude in a lancer with some fi stickers and a sundown sticker. Might you be on SSA?! Just recently had a owner of two 12" type r's ride in my mazda 6 (3.5 cubed box @ 33hz 15" fi ssd running 1k rms). He pretty much was "not impressed" bahahhaa. He said mine was crystal clear, but not very loud. The only thing I have going against me is my sub is pointing straight up at a panel, until I can get a box that fits. I currently have 1 08 ZX750.1 kicker mono amp(2ohm stable) and 1 12"L7 kicker DVC 4ohm. I was looking into getting somthing better than the L7 that i have.i want to upgrade my SQ and SPL. I want a LOUD sub!!! What do you guys recommend along with the enclosure specs

Hey guys. I found a BL 15 for $230 and couldnt pass it up. Anyway I have a BL 15 with the cooling and daily option. The new one has the flatwind and SPL option. Would putting both of these in the same box cause problems? Would playing music through the SPL option sub be an issue?

Hi, im about to order a fi btl in the next few weeks. Im deciding between a btl 15 and a btl 18. I have a hyundai elantra with a 220 amp alternator, 2 batteries and a soundstream rubicon 2500d. I listen to almost all rap and im looking for the loudest system i can build for the lows. I can only fit a 6.7 cube internal volume ported box which is 5 cubes net. I dont know which sub would be louder in this size box. But i really want the 18.
