I currently have a 12" L7 kicker DVC 4ohm With a 3.75^ 3.0cubic feet at 35hz enclosure. Im loooking into getting a subwoofe that has good sound quality that can possibly get loud and sound clean. The amp ihave is a kicker mono amp 08 ZX 750.1. It is 2ohm stable. Accoriding to its birth sheet if i can remember correctly, it was putting out 823 rms watts I was looking into the 12" JL audio W6 v2. BUT I was looking at the 12" Fi Q So i was leaning towards it... I just ordered a 15" BL with cooling, flatwind, and unversal. Along with a recone kit for a 12" RE SX sub that I will sell after I recone it. So that 15" BL will be powered by a RF T10001BD whenever I get the amp back from RF, warranty work... That BL will go in my Scion tC, hopefully I will manage to build a 3.5cuft box and do an external tube port, and port that to 30hz. The reason why I want to do tube port is so that I can change it and tune it higher for competitions. I'm just hoping that that box can fit since the Scion tC trunks are kinda small. What size speaker wires would i need for my BL 15.

I don't know if this has been talked about on here or not, so I apologize in advance if it has. I was doing a little research on what sub(s) I would like to put in my new car. I was thinking about going with a SSD and when I got on the fi site I saw that it says neo ssd's coming soon or something along those lines. I'm pretty interested, so I figured I'd post here to find out more about it. Besides weight, will switching to neo magnets change the ssd's performance much?(if so how?) Do you guys have an idea when it will be available for purchase? And lastly how will the change effect pricing?

Hey sup fi, i just grabbed a re xxx 04/05 model and it was recently reconed i was trying to find out the specs/what was put in it since i am interested in getting another one reconed. Apparently it has integrated leads,stiffer spider, fullsized dustcap, and an original xxx vc. I was trying to figure out if that is just the standard recone with the leads option and spider option or if i need to ask for something imparticular. The guy who i got it from said it was done by scott at fi and he should remember him by name since he went to fi and dealt with scott while there i was hopin he was right but either way the guys name was treston rego

Hi all, I had a few questions while waiting on the updates in the line. I currently have an audioque 1200d for power and plan on running one sub in the trunk of my 2010 mustang. I'm having the box custom built rear firing. I listen to all music. What would the output and sound differences be between one 10 in 1.25 ft^3 @ 32 hz and one 12 in 1.25 sealed, either ssd or q? I was wondering if the SSD with BP option would handle 1200 watts, or would it be safer to stick with a Q? Basically, I can go biggest on the box for ported around 2 cubic feet at 32 hz for one 12, and any size smaller. One 10 ported, or one 12 sealed, Q or SSD? For my application what do you think …

Been a member since I ordered my 2 stock spec SSD 12's a couple of weeks ago. I have noticed most people tend to go for BL's and BTL's. So all you fellow SSD owners let's see what you got and how you like them. Pics and videos would be nice too! Info on spl numbers, what kinda box you're running, auto make and model, etc.... Anything you wanna share. Mine come tomorrow so I won't have them in the car for a couple of weeks while I run new power wire and build the box. Def taking some pics though. I have a Memphis 16-mc2000d mojo amp. I also have a FI BTL loaded This sub is dual 2 ohm. I wired it in series so the amp sees 4 ohms. I have it in a 7.5 cube box tuned to 40HZ However when I really get this thing kicking it sounds like it cannot handle the power. Any suggestions, I know this sub can take all that this amp can give it???

#494 I ordered a ib3 recone and glue 3 months ago. I got my recone with no glue about 1 1/2 months ago. FI/shawn has said he has shipped it 3 times. Should I just go to the hardware store and get some epoxy? Not Happy, i paid for the glue but ................... this is b/s

Here are a few pics of my somewhat recent install and my brand new tint. I got a 15" Fi Q with red dustcap and BP Power, running on a Sundown 1200D at 1 ohm. Put it into a custom built box with white ultra-suede front and 4.0 cu ft volume with (4) 3" ports which i dont think is quite enough but ill be upgrading to a XCON eventually so trying not to put any more money into this system unless absolutely necessary. The tint is 15% all around (back shield, back 2 doors, and front 2 doors) and im considering a 50% on the front shield. Car is a 1999 Volvo S70. Headunit is Alpine CDA-9886..... Ok, ive been talked into a 18" BTL over the 15".. my price range isnt a ton for an amp to power it. So far the only thing that has caught my eye is a Sundown SAZ1500D, can get it used from a guy down the street from me for about $270 with a few minor scratches... Ive been told HIfonics CAN be good if you get the right one.. what is the right one? IS there any other brands of affordable amps out there? I want the Sundown 2000D or the 3500D but new price is over budget for me.. what do you guys suggest? My gf asked me what FI stood for yesterday because she knows SSA is for Sound solutions audio and AA is ascendent audio.
