2 10" SSD's off of 1200 watts, any benefit to adding BP power to them besides that i could add more power later? would it make the subs to stiff? would they not be as loud? would the add'ed cooling and spider make the sub's last longer? thank you for your time and, i hit 142.* with my 15" Q in a 2.8 cuft aero port box. it makes me happy wile sounding great. *bad white boy dance*

I just turned 17 and im getting a 2010 maxima next week. I ordered a 12in fi bl fully loaded and a sundown sae 1200d. I also ordered a stinger 0 gauge amp kit. Scott@ficaraudio sent me an enclosure that is 2.3cf and tuned to 33hz. I am planning on doing the big 3 upgrade, all 0 gauge and building the enclosure myself. This is the first time im getting a system. Is it going to be VERY loud for my very fisrt time having a system. The sundown sae 1200d is capable of producing 1500 watts rms at normal operating voltage, thats what jacob fuller at sundown audio told me by email. So is that 1500 watts rms going to pound my chest? I have heard, in my school, 2 mtx 7500's in a s…

Well first off I'd like to thank FI for their amazing service up to this point (only been a customer for a few weeks and haven't used your product yet but amazing at answering customer questions and FAST!). I have asked a few times on her about updates of the BTL backorder but what I as a customer would like to see is a thread posted with daily or even weekly updates of different backorder or any other subwoofer issues. Maybe this is a dumb suggestion and you don't have time please don't bash me just wanted to through some input out there for you guys. Would love to know an update as of 8/10. THANKS and can't wait for my music machines

I finally designed my box and had Digital Sound in Miami, FL put it together for me. I ripped out my back seat (sorry kids) and barely got this monster box in, lol. We had to take out the side panels and both front seats to get her in there. This is by far the loudest setup I have ever had (specs below). I just need to clean up the wiring a bit in the back and do a few cosmetic adjustments, but you can get the basic idea Hope you likey. 3 Fi Audio Q15 Box is 10.2 cuft Tuning is @ 32hz DC Auido PAI-2000.1 @ .75ohm HU: Soundstream VIR-7840bt Stinger Alt coming soon Fostgate mids n highs Evolution 125.4

I'm gonna be ordering 2 of the Q15's dual 2 ohms fully loaded, and wiring them both to a AQ2200D, and I want to know what would be the best enclosure I can build for SQ? I've heard sealed is the best for SQ, and aside from that the carpenter building the box for me doesn't know anything about tuning a box, so i'm pretty sure ported or bandpass is out of the question. Would I be right to assume if I use the max 4^3 feet per woofer it would hit the deep note better? If so, what would be the best way to put both of those into a 43inx40inx17 (LengthXWidthxDepth). I believe i'm gonna mount them from the top unless someone could provide a good option that would allow for otherw…

I've been told the Subsonic filter is NOT always accurate, with some parts on amps made in bulk somewhere in china trying to cut costs, they can turn out to be less accurate with a subsonic filter resulting in a 20% variance. I guess what im asking is besides looking at the Hz marking alongside the subsonic filter knob, how else can a person figure out what Hz the filter is really set up to. I don't want to set up my filter based on the knob markings thinking its filtering everything below 31 hz when it really is set up to filter below 28 hz. So is there another way to set up the subsonic filter without assuming the standard markings on the knob are accurate. Thx 4 readi…

I'm planning to buy two of the fully loaded Q15's, and I have a question regarding how to hook them up. When I get them I plan to hook them together either in series or parallel and (This is where the question comes in) run off a monoblock Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdCP. Now since each requires 1000w rms would it be safe to run them at 1250 off of the 2500w monoblock? I plan to put them in a ported or bandpass style enclosure that'll take up most of my 43inx40inx17in (roughly) trunk. Would this be a good set up for the two woofers? And is that the correct power for them? Also, the second question I somehow forgot, how would I wire two dual 1 ohm Q15's to get them to hook up…

Just ordered myself (2) 15 btls fully loaded...for once in my life I'm actually feelin patient becauase I have a strong feeling that its well worth the wait...my main concern though is if they are on back order do I still expect 3-7 business days for production or may I find myself waiting awhile? Also (2) RF T2000.1bds will be powering them...btl÷T200=good couple? (Birth certificates are both 2800s at 1 ohm) thanks!

I ordered a 15'' BL dual 2 ohm. I have upgraded 4 gauge from the alt. to my duralast gold battery and i have a 120 amp alt. I also ordered an AQ-1200D. My boy is doing all the installation but he told me to get the dual 2 and wire it at .7 ohms. Will my voltage drop too low?

I am installing a 2-way active + sub system in a 2007 Civic sedan. Power will be provided by a single 5 channel Kicker ZX700.5 (sub channel is rated at 280 @4ohm / 420 @ 2ohm - under rated per reviews and birth sheets). Head unit is 880PRS. I certainly have enough power to run a X12, but is this even remotely viable for an SSD in a sealed enclosure? As I would like to stick with 5ch amp, my pother choice is a Polk Audio PA1100.5 which is 1ohm stable and can produce 600 watts (not sure about actual output on this model). Keep in mind my goals are to have better than stock sound and my musical tasted run from jazz, to classic rock, punk, salsa, electronic, hip hop, etc. I …
