hey guys, just did up a quick vid of my system, some people requested it yeh noticed my amp was clipping, and i mean i tuned it to 30 volume and max is 35 with all bass settings down, to 44 volts using the chart, and now i tuned it again with the bass knob out, and sub lvl at 15 which is max and bass 0 as it always is, and at 27 volume this time and i just miss the part where you cant breath, mann, can someone help me tune this thing perfectly lol, i dont want people to breath in my car lol, jks but yeh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9hZV71aZTw Please rate and comment, not rly necesary to comment lol, but a rating wud be nice 5* for Fi Car Audio

Whats with people always bashin on sealed boxes, when subs like SSDs and RE SEs do so well in them for daily pounders? Its seems people are so narrow minded and think the ONLY thing that is important about the box that if its ported or not. These people need to hear some loud sealed groundpounders!

I ordered last night on my iPhone and ordered btl12's instead of 15's . What should I do?

I have a 12 inch 04 model re xxx and need a recone for it. i want to make it into a 15 inch sub though. i will need a basket for it to. the amp being used does 1600 watts at 4 ohms. how much will a recone and basket cost? thanks

I just tried to get a recone for a BL and it wouldn't go through, it goes to a blank page and has the price for the shipping and thats it. It didn't connect to paypal yet. Is it just me?

Whoah. I mean, whoah. My Fi Q showed up today and I'm in awe of this sucker. It's built like a tank! I've been through quite a few subs and I think this single 12" might end up putting my two Phoenix Gold RSDc 12"s to shame. My main goal was to reduce weight in the back of my Scion Tc trunk while still maintaining some heavy punch. Here's some eye candy, including the custom 1.3 cu ft Fisher box I had built especially for this little monster. I can't wait to get it mounted and broken in. Thanks Fi!

well, its about time I get a new subwoofer, my 15s are completely worn to shit (bet you've never worn a driver so bad you can make the cone bounce by pushing it in) they sounded so good 10 years ago, I dont know what happened. anyways, so I've got 4 computers imma sell to get a fi, that means 400 to 500 dollars for a new setup. if installed properly..what would get off louder? 18 inch ssd with a hifonics 1200 or 12 inch bl with a hifonics 1600 i finally got a little bit of money to spend so i wanted another system. used to have a ssd 15 on a hifonics 1200..it sounded great!

I have an audiopipe ap1500d running 2 fi ssd 12's. when i turn my music up and the bass sounds really good it will just cut out and will turn back on when i turn it down, any ideas?

I have been reading plenty of posts and articles of sound quality, yet many people have different opinions on what a sound quality setup is. I have 3 Rockford Fosgate p2s sealed however, it is not loud enough. I am going to buy either a 15" Fi Q fully loaded or 15" Fi BL fully loaded. Both would be ported and in their proper enclosures with about 1200-1300 rms power running to them in a 2007 hyundai elantra gls.(I have enough trunk space) I have equipped my entire car with dynamat because I like to feel my bass more than others. Just purchased my sp4 15 from Fi on November 15 and recieved it on December 7! They even slapped on a carbon fiber dustcap for free!! Terrific customer service, and I will be buying from them in the future! Keep up the great work guys!

Alright so I have my BTL in my ported box (tuning is messed up I have to redo it I think) and I am powering it with a 1200 watt hifonics with chit 4 guage. Waiting on installing my batts, big 3, and 2 ought. I was playing hz tests and I was like fudge it its moving some air, lets see if i can do a hair trick. So I had this girl put her hair in my window and I rolled it up a till there was about 3 inches left. I played a 40hz tone, I STILL dont know what my tuning is but this gets pretty loud, and it was moving her hair! I received my Fi Q15 yesterday!! I ordered it with the BP option and a Red dustcap to match my car. This sub looks amazing!! The build quality of this Fi product is better than that of other brands. I was really impressed with the multi stranded woven tinsel leads. I cant wait to install it this weekend. I am finishing up my box (4cf @ 30hz.) and will be running a Cadence iA7 in a 07' Chrysler 300C. I'll make sure to post pics when completed. Friends A few months ago i purchased a Sundown Amp SAE 1200D and a FIQ 12 Dual 2 Ohms. I need help in determing the massive cause of my voltage drop inmy 2006 SRT8 with a Batcap 400 and a BatCap 800. I not sure if my system is hooke dup in 1 ohm impedance or 2 ohm imedance. I know there are many experts here that can help me in just a few seconds. Attach is a picture of my amp and I have annotated where the wires are hooked up. I just need help in determining is the amp wires are in the correct locations. I specifically told the shop to set my subs up in 2 ohms but talking to everyone I think it is set up in 1 ohm impedance which I did not want. Is there anyone her…

Ok i just installed my system yesterday... Its not hitting at all. They guy at the shop said that it needs to break in a little bit before he adjusts it? I have a sundown sae 1200d and all 0 gauge wiring. Is it not hitting becuase its not adjusted right? I know that 1500 watts rms is ALOT of bass and should be LOUD, but its not hitting. So is it because the adjustment on the amp?

I just turned 17 and im getting a 2010 maxima next week. I ordered a 12in fi bl fully loaded and a sundown sae 1200d. I also ordered a stinger 0 gauge amp kit. Scott@ficaraudio sent me an enclosure that is 2.3cf and tuned to 33hz. I am planning on doing the big 3 upgrade, all 0 gauge and building the enclosure myself.
