Haven't heard from Nick or Scott in awhile, so I am checking up to see if my BTL has been rebuilt yet or not. I understand that yall are busy, but I emailed you twice, and the last thing you said to me about 2 weeks ago in your last email, was that it would be done nearly 2 weeks ago. Just give me an update is all I ask, and please don't take this as me getting hostile or an attitude with you. Any time I have talk to Nick or Scott, they have been very helpful, and I understand that this a busy time for them right now, but I would really like to get my sub back if it is finished. Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of research lately and I've come down to two setups that I'm really considering. I haven't listened to many subs personally, but I want my system to be a lout louder than one 15" Mofo. My buddy has a 15" Mofo and it just doesn't impress me. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop and a little bit of rock. Below are the two setups I've been considering. 1) Two Dual 1 Ohm 12" Fi SSD's powered by Cadence ZRS-7500D. Thought I would share some of my install pics on my Chrysler 300. This was built to be a SQ car and the whole theme was to make the car to appear as factory as possible and able to return the car back to factory when that need arrises. Say I made a 4 cubic foot box put a BL15 inside with 1500watts rms, then used the same box popped in a BTL15 in the same box with 3000watts rms. Would the BTL be much louder. I'm a little confused to how much watts make a difference in car audio, everytime someone asks if they should go for 1 powerful sub, or 2 less powered subs, people always vote for the 2 subs due to cone area. Would the btl make you feel and hear noticably more bass then the bl with my given senario?

What cleaner could I use to clean the surround on the subs?

Alright they don't answer E- Mails at the sight. I'm wondering if my purchase is going to be this way? I will soon be ordering 1 of 2 BTL 18's and want it to go smoothly. It should money talks right?...lol I want D1's, daily, no 3rd magnet, and where does the cooling cancel the other out? Just choose the chamfer right? These will run at 2000 just for daily driving and that friendly slug fest!

So I've searched this subject just can't seem to find an answer. I have a 15" SSD basket and motor(double stack), how can I tell what coil was in it before? I don't want to buy the wrong coil and it not fit as FI says the flatwind coil option has an upgraded motor. Thanks in advance!

ok i got my fi btl n3 in finally got the box built for them and hooked them in my car ... and to my surprise they play music just fine.... the box for two twelves is 7,2 cubic feet after displacement 6.8 and tuned to 38 hertz and sounds damn good and not even broken in yet so everyone who said they would sound like sh$t U WERE Wrong thanks , please no negative comments i posted this for other people considering to buy these who have worries like i did that it wouldnt play music and to answer another question i have the 7 spiders on it so 5 probally be alot more musical thats my two cence..

Hey guys, I just ordered my Image Dynamic components and now I'm starting to look into my subwoofer setup. I've narrowed it down to three choices. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop, but I do like alternative every now and then. Here are the three setups that've really stood out to me. 1) 2 12" Fi SSD's powered by a Cadence DCA 1600.1 in a ported box to specs. 2) 2 12" Image Dynamics IDQv3's in a sealed encolsure powered by a AudioQue 1200D or Sundown SAE-1200D. 3) 2 12" AudioQue SDC2.5's in a ported box powered by an AudioQue 1200D or Sundown SAE-1200D. i wanna know how the havoc compares to the fi bl. i have the fi bl but im thinking of switching to the havoc. im not sure though because ive never heard the havoc but by reading the reviews its way better than the q. is it better than the bl? how so?

Not sure if this is a reasonable question as I just found ficaraudio, but here we go: How do these compare to the old RE XXX (2005), the BL and BTL? I would assume the BTL is close but how close? I need a daily driver sub (mostly real music), I have a US Amps 2000x (3000 watts). So from what I gather that puts me in the BTL series, fully loaded. Is this correct? I have read that the BTL10 is not a good daily driver, is this still true as the web page does have a daily option for it? I would prefer the BTL10 due to enclosure size but could swing the BTL12. thanks

Well im not sure what to choose SPL or Daily on a BTL. I want to find a sub that i can Use for Daily and SPL. Does the SPL setting sound like complete ass on music or is it not to bad? Is the daily still pretty good for competing? My woofer is great for daily but not good for competing unless i buy another since its dual 6 ohm. and im a single set up guy. Anyone compete with the daily setting? Anyone listen to music with the SPL setting? thanks

So I got there to find out my alternator is dying, and won't keep more than 13.9v at idle. It was a great first show, I did bass race and truck/suv 1501+. I got 149.9 in bass race and took first place. I got 2nd place in truck/suv to todd hardwick (but he has a wall in his truck made just for spl, I have a daily setup. First run was 150.6@44hz, but I thought I peaked a little lower. Next run I tried lower- and got a 150.8@ 35hz. My alternator wouldn't allow for more than the initial burp, so I know redoing my electrical system will do a lot. Just got my recone for my RE SX, got it fully loaded with drilled compression plug. This is my first time dealing with the compression plug, so I just want to make sure I apply it correctly. It goes on the inside of the coil gap between the coil and underneath the dustcap right? It probably won't be able to stay in place, so would I need to glue it down?

hey i recently recieved my btl 15" and installed it in the box that i designed and built its a 4.4 cube slot port box tuned to 34hz and i have it on my 1500.1bd running about 1600 watts rms and i took a few videos earlier and when i was done i noticed that the cone was really hot on it....not so hot you couldnt keep your finger on it but it was pretty damn hot.....why is this i was planning on getting another 1500.1bd and strapping them......is the one 1500.1bd enough for it i thought these things were built for power

Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a SSD10 (Dual 2) but I don't quite understand the other three configuration options, flatwind coil, copper coil, and BP Power. Could someone explain what each of these mean/are and what their benefits are? Thanks! Adam

I have been reading plenty of posts and articles of sound quality, yet many people have different opinions on what a sound quality setup is. I have 3 Rockford Fosgate p2s sealed however, it is not loud enough. I am going to buy either a 15" Fi Q fully loaded or 15" Fi BL fully loaded. Both would be ported and in their proper enclosures with about 1200-1300 rms power running to them in a 2007 hyundai elantra gls.(I have enough trunk space) I have equipped my entire car with dynamat because I like to feel my bass more than others. I just don't want my sub to change the sound of my music when it gets louder. What does SQ truly mean? Does having a ported box mean I don't want…

I'm not entirely familiar with Fi. What I've read however is that they are a high quality semi custom subwoofer. I've noticed the watt ratings are very high for each aside from the IB3. I realize the Q series will probably not fit behind my bench. I have a 2003 f150 regular cab. That leaves me with the SSD our the IB3. I will only push 600 rms to each so 1200 total. JL HD1200.1 The box will be custom made. I have close to 12.5" of room at the floor. One thing that is holding me back its the fact I'm reading allot of revive posts in the forum.
