why does it on every single Subwoofer on the Fi website it says N/A for the sealed box size

Does the FI BTL 12s have a break in period? Im runnin an aq2200d on mine. Is there a certain amount i should put on it before full power??? please helpp

I just recieved my BL's and wanted to say thank you. The packaging was superb as well as the sub's.

Okay guys, heres whats up. I just got my Bl in FINALLY (100% worth the wait btw) It has all options including FW coil. Now what i need to know is it bad to touch the voice coil? Upon opening the bl's box, my friend said "the vents in the basket are so big you can touch the voicecoil" and then he did:( ikd if it matters though so can anyone help me out ? I mean he didnt like hurt it or anything im just unsure if like the fingure grease could maybe hurt the coil but I could just be trippin. Any help would be much appreciated ! Thanks

I've been trying to figure out some theoretical expectations from a few subs using Winisd. I want to use a sealed enclosure, but I can't figure anything out with the SSD (12 inch Dual 2 ohm) until I know the higher qts. Does anyone know what it is? Hopefully I'm not being dumb and just can't find it. I know the Qts is figure by using the Qes and Qms numbers, so which ever changed would be helpful too.

The Foam surround ripped apart on my fi Q 10" After 6 months of play. I have no idea what would cause this. Fi customer service is lacking to say the least. Does anyone know how to get in touch with someone at fi? I have been e-mailing the [email protected]

Alright, while i sit here waiting for my order to arrive for (1) 18" BTL D2, i decide to browse craigslist.. I run into another 18" BTL D2 which looks to be in good condition.. $380.. now im really confused. lol. I haven't had the box built maybe i should just go with 2 instead of 1? The current amp i have is a sundown saz1500 .. which would be fine with 1 btl but i dont think its gonna cut it with 2 of them.. so my options IF i decide to buy this sub... buy another saz1500 and run them separately @ 1 ohm each... Strap the 2 1500's together and run them @ 2 ohms together.... I would love to sell my 1500 and buy a saz3500 but that's out of the budget right now. Doing this …

Hey guys Sorry if this topic is in the wrong section. I just have a quick question. I am ordering a fully loaded BTL 1 Ohm for daily use with some SPL shows. I was thinking of running this bad boy off a HiFonics BXi 2610 Class D mono Block. It says it runs 1 ohm: 2600 watts x 1 chan. I have a HiFonics amp right now and I like it.....but I think its overrated as far as its RMS is, so my question is will this amp in question be OK for the BTL is it too much power for it even if it a little less than 2600 RMS? Should I consider a totally different amp? Thanks a lot guys

Need some help, I have an 09 Silverado ext cab truck, and currently I have 2 type r 10's and a PA BAMF 2000/1 amp, the box is tiny, fits under the back seat and down fires (sealed .6cuft each sub) . My buddy with the exact same truck, just put in the same box with JL 10w3's and a JL Slash 500/1 amp. His system KILLS mine!! My type r's sound terrible. I thought it was the small box but a local shop told me it was most likely the crappy amp that I have. So, I have decided to throw my current set up in the trash and do it right this time. Hi all, I had a few questions while waiting on the updates in the line. I currently have an audioque 1200d for power and plan on running one sub in the trunk of my 2010 mustang. I'm having the box custom built rear firing. I listen to all music. What would the output and sound differences be between one 10 in 1.25 ft^3 @ 32 hz and one 12 in 1.25 sealed, either ssd or q? I was wondering if the SSD with BP option would handle 1200 watts, or would it be safer to stick with a Q? Basically, I can go biggest on the box for ported around 2 cubic feet at 32 hz for one 12, and any size smaller. One 10 ported, or one 12 sealed, Q or SSD? For my application what do you think …

I have a fully loaded 18 fi btl D1. I have this amp, Arc Audio 2150se. Its 300x2 @ 2ohm. I was wondering if it would be ok to run this amp on my sub daily? I have a 96 explorer, and stock electrical system. using 4 gauge power wire.

Ok guys new to the forums i'm looking for some advice on my upcoming electrical situation. I'm going to be ordering the new FI Q 18" with the cooling or bp option when it comes out. I have decided to go with the Sundown Sae-1200d also. The q will be in a 6-10 cf ported box. The car I'm putting the system into is a 2009 Ford Escape. So far everything in the car is stock electrical wise. I have ordered a knukonceptz 1/0 gauge amp kit and around 20 feet more of 1/0 gauge to do the big three. ok i just picked up 4 18'' fi btl fully loaded and i need a big ported box..can some one give me the best enclosure dimensions for this set up? i have 2 atomic at 50001d amps so 10,000 watts untell i get my 2 atomic 7000.1 its going in a 01 tahoe lt with the second seat...but the third seat is coming out so i got the whole back of the truck to work with!!!

I just tried to get a recone for a BL and it wouldn't go through, it goes to a blank page and has the price for the shipping and thats it. It didn't connect to paypal yet. Is it just me?

Buddy is torn between these setups. Obviously one requires 2k more power. Aside from that, everything else is pretty close. I think that the ssds wont be much louder for all the extra work - any other opinions?

i just have one 1 18 btl and im hugely satisfied with it. it plays the lows so hard compared to the 2 12 l7s i had before. i think the btl isnt louder in the higher freq but the lows oh my god thats awesome! now i have the chance to sell my btl and im thinking of getting 2 18 Qs in a sealed 9 cft. box because im very impressed by the sq of the btl (although the box i have is crap, less than 5 cft after displacement). is there a comparable sub to the Q? like alpines type x? amp is a bxi 2610. the Qs would run at 1 ohm (2,6 kw rms).

Does anyone know when the new 2010 Q's will be available on Fi's website. It says March 1st, and nothing. I'm getting antsy...
