Hey Scott/Nick, I ordered a sub awhile back and you guys were pretty gracious in helping me out. Now I have another question, does shipping to Canada usually take longer then expected? Ya'll emailed me that my BuzzLightyear shipped on Nov 16 with 6-10 days wait. It's been a lil longer then that. I was wondering if customs gets held up around this time of year, and if you've ever had problems like this. Thanks guys.

Ok, so after talking to others, it has come down to these two. I want to compete, probably only ever gonna be local comps. I know i prob will not beat my friends ranger (a wall with RE 18's, cant SX's I think) but I wanna beat these guys the say Kicker are the best subs ever created. At the moment I have a RF4000.1 sitting around I got from a shop that closed down for pretty much nothing. I am doing a blow through in an 08 Ford F-150 FX2. Here is my tough decision. I can run this one amp and push 4 12" BL's or I can get 2 15" BTL's when the new models come out, and when money is good, do even more electrical upgrades and get a 2nd RF4000 for and seperate one RF4000 …

Finally got my 2011 SSD and installed it today. It's making a loud "popping" noise when it plays. I thought it might be because it wasn't sealing against the box right, but after several hours and a bead of silicon around the mounting ring, the pop is still there in full force. Haven't heard from Nick or Scott in awhile, so I am checking up to see if my BTL has been rebuilt yet or not. I understand that yall are busy, but I emailed you twice, and the last thing you said to me about 2 weeks ago in your last email, was that it would be done nearly 2 weeks ago. Just give me an update is all I ask, and please don't take this as me getting hostile or an attitude with you. Any time I have talk to Nick or Scott, they have been very helpful, and I understand that this a busy time for them right now, but I would really like to get my sub back if it is finished. im about to get a 18" btl on a hifonics brz2400 but i was thinking about getting 2 15" btls on a hifonics collusus 3200rms. Which would be louder?

I've been waiting forever to hear back from PSI with an invoice for a recone and I'm starting to lean toward just buying one straight from Fi. I have a 12" UFO BTL that has been reconed once already. Is the Xmax coil option an option that you can add regardless, or do you have to originally have an Xmax coil to get it? I'm not sure what the sub has/had. I just don't want to order a recone and it not work.

Hi, I'm looking at picking up a Sundown Audio SAX-1200D to match it up with a single Fi Q 12" with plans to run a ported setup. Being new to car audio my question is, will these two work together? Everything I've read seems to put these as a perfect match up. For options on the speaker I'm assuming it will need Dual 2 Ohm and cooling options. Is the option for an extra "spider" needed? I'll be ordering the amp in the morning, should you guys give the OK, as there is an amazing deal on one of the internet retailers. Thanks for the help.

So I got there to find out my alternator is dying, and won't keep more than 13.9v at idle. It was a great first show, I did bass race and truck/suv 1501+. I got 149.9 in bass race and took first place. I got 2nd place in truck/suv to todd hardwick (but he has a wall in his truck made just for spl, I have a daily setup. First run was 150.6@44hz, but I thought I peaked a little lower. Next run I tried lower- and got a 150.8@ 35hz. My alternator wouldn't allow for more than the initial burp, so I know redoing my electrical system will do a lot. We got my box finished up at 3 A.M. this morning. I didn't build it myself, but paid an installer who has did work for me before. The box is right at 8ft^3 and tuned to 33hz with 120^2 inches of port area. All i currently have is a Kenwood amp that puts out 900 watts to push the subs. THe subs have the copper coil option and I was defintely expecting them to be louder and lower than my previous 15" L7 ran off the same amp. Well, they exceeded my expectations! My installer rents out a shop from a car dealership. Once we got the box in my Blazer, i immeditately put it on Young Jeezy - Hypnotize to see just how low these suckers could go. Meant to say single wall boxes but that just didn't happen i was too enthused at laughing about the basket making noise...even after all of that the sub still works.. Anyhow...keep your packaging. Don't send us this stuff back with a bunch of peanuts or anything in a single wall box and expect a 70 pound package to not be broken in 30 pieces.

Hey guys, Since I will be recieving my 15" SSD + flatwind pretty soon, I figured I would make an enclosure this weekend. It is 35x15.5x21, 3.5 Cuft tuned to 33hz. It was a 2 day, 5 total hour job, but not bad for a 16 year old making my first ported box. If I order the sx recone will it come with the 1.4 ohm coils? Also, if it does have the 1.4 ohm coils will it be a direct fit or will my motor need to be sent in to be modified? And does anybody know the t/s specs for the sx 18 recone because I can't seem to find it anywhere and I know it's not exactly the same as the sx 18? I can't get any response from fi when I email them so I was hoping I could get some help here so I can order my recone already... Thanks

to the guys at Fi- if it makes any difference i will be using this 12 sealed off of a US Amps AX600DE and per Flakko will push 800-850 at 13.6v. just wanted to give you a heads up if it makes a difference in the build if you set them up any differently. zac lampson

Hey guys, just wanted to give you an update on our shipping. We have changed from UPS to Fed Ex. Now when you place your order, you will not get a tracking number until your order actually ships. Previously with UPS you would get the tracker as soon as your order was processed, so customers thought that there order had already shipped, when that was not the case, as we still had to machine all the parts and get it put together. i was looking into either getting a 15Q or a 18SSD. I would put either one of them in there suggested box size tuned to about 33hz.....which one do u think would be the loudest?...which one the clearest?

the box is 6.5 cubes tuned to 36hz with 75sq in of port the box is behind the front seat of my civic sub facing up and port facing forward and it just seems like it isn't wangin...could it be you guys built it the SPL version rather than daily? (i sent an email saying i messed up and wanted it changed and got no update) i mean it could be something to do with the box and the port being forward...let me know thanks im not happy at all with it...we installed my brothers 15in BL and i was blown away its in 5 cubes at 35hz and mine seems like a single 8 compared to it

I recently bought a recone for my HCCA 15 and I think the leads are too short for me to use. Is it usual for the leads to only go past the spider by 1"? Let me know what I can do about this. I have included a couple pics so you can see what I am talking about. Thanks!
