buying btl 18 fully loaded wondering if to go old school with rf 4000bd or get a sundown 3500 , buying powerful amp because wil be adding secound 18 in future.

i need some help. im using a sundown saz 2000 and i cant decide what subs to use. fi bl 15s or the nightshade 15s. im having a box made for which ever i decide and theyre goin in a focus hatchback....no wall tho i hear the bls are more musical . its my daily driver and ive never competed . just like loud music and people lookin at me like im nuts

I just picked up the subs I bought my brother for xmas 2 years. Still brand new in the box, x series(12's). I was contemplating buying a saz 1500d. I looked at the specs for it and it said that its 400w at 4 ohms. I have also read this amp is under rated in terms of power. So will this amp run these 2 subs? The alterior motive behind this amp is I will probably upgrade to q's in the next 6 months or so as well. Any help would be appreciated....

this really should be a commercial or on the intro page to fi's site, only thing is it's ascendant woofers. oh and yes, I know the system isn't the loudest out there but the way the t-shirt happened to stay there is badass

i have 2 x15inch fi btl on a Lanzar OPTI 6000D, do you guys think im under powering them??? they knock, but i fell like everything i throw at them, they handle with ease, so im thinking of getting a additional Lanzar OPTI 6000D to pound extra hard.... lets me know what you guys suggest?? or should i go with different amps?? Just a thought.

Ok so i have 2 12" Fi SSD Dual 1 ohm subs, and i want to have a final ohm load of 2 ohm. Can someone show me how to wire them?

Which sub would be better on a sundown saz1000 The Fi Q or the SSA Icon 12" Driver.. 2.5 cube airspace

I was thinking about getting 2 BTLs(12s) but i would like to get some feedback on their quality and what is recommended to power them.

Might be getting a Chevy Avalanche at the end of the week... Planning a system for it since it will be my new daily ride. I know that I can fit 6 18s inside there, but the airspace is small. Would be around 2.8 sealed per sub, then I would polyfill the heck out of the inside of the box. That would get each sub seeing around 3.4 cubes roughly. They would be in a sideways clamshell, so that would help them load off each other. Think I could get away with this with any of the subs FI/AA makes? Maybe the SSD? Q? Chaos? Havoc?

I am looking for more SQ than anything, with some good output of course. I plan to run an old school Linear Power 8002SW to two of these possibly. Would they be underpowered? If you are not familiar with this monster of an amp then please do not respond.

Well, my homie wants to run a good amount of 12"s, or possibly 15" ssd's But he wants to do a blowthrough from the bed of the truck to the cab, what would be the best way to do it? He's thinking about doing it in sections, and i think that the way that might be best is to do 4 15"s SSDs and a SAZ 4500 and then do 4 more and another SAZ 4500 but, would you have to do a band pass pretty much??

hey gonna try and fit a 12 btl behind the seats of my crewcab silverado moved the seats forward I got the mounting depth cleared but want to know the measurement from the highest point of the foam to where the ring meets the wood to leave a lil space so the seat wont rub the sub at all when its running, thanks.

I have 2 BTL 15" 3 stack that I bought used and they are supposed to be fully loaded. One is pretty beat up so I decided a recone was in order soon. I got them cheap so I wasnt concerned and I knew they could be reconed. I had these 2 subs in my 95 grand marquis on 2 mmats 2100.1. I have 220 amp alt. Big 3 0ga and an Optima yellow top. When it says that all subwoofers are custom made in 3-7 days. Is that one subwoofer or is that the ones you order. Like if i ordered 2 12". and it took 3 days to make them. would that mean 3 days to make each sub. or 3 days b4 both were sent

Hello all! Well im certainly a noob around here. I've been looking at the boards for quite a few months but I've finally decided to post. Anyway, onto business... I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra with 2 12" RE SE's in a custom 4 cu ft at 34hz enclosure (the old ones, not the seX) on a nasty TMA 1000.1 (I didn't know much about this, bought it cheap from a friend). I'm right on that 1000 rms borderline so I have not performed any electrical upgrades and my car is fine (no dimming etc). Okay... Just ordered my 12" BTL fully loaded dual 1 ohm the other day, im GEEKED!! First question, i have a Hifonics BXI2610D amp, i wanna wire my sub to 1ohm to get the most power... correct? how do i do this? second, i have a stock battery and alt in an 02 cougar... do i absolutely HAVE to upgrade? Third, i bought a ported box off of a buddy, he says its 2.7ft^3, is this going to sound good with the amp and sub i have? By the way, im running 0 gauge wires and a wimpy 4 farad cap. Ok I have a friend gettin two alpine mrp2000 amps each pushin about 2248wrms at 2 ohms and hes running that to two alpine Type X 12s.. Now me being me I just wanna 'keep up and surpass' him and Im gettin 2 BTL 12s with a Sundown 3500D but I dont have either yet.. Will my car still be louder? p.s. I plan to have 2.5^3 for each sub and tuned to about 35hz

ok well i bought 2 subs a few months back and one of em ended up blowin. so i got scotts number and called him. he told me to send it in and theyd look at it and try n fix it. it has been about 2 months now since i sent it off and i havnt heard from them since. i have emailed scott and nick and ive tried calling scott and no answer what so ever. i understand they are busy but i would atleast think they could answer a phone. i mean seriously......2 months. hopefully one of them will answer me on here
