What happend to FI apparel?

I ordered a sub With the SPL Option. Someone told me that you could play the sub really loud for short periods of time and it wasnt for just driving around with it loud. But i am now finding out that it isnt like that at all i was wondering if anyone could help explain too me what SPL is.?

I have two 15" SSDs with copper coils... they've sat in their original packaging for a while now, never used. I don't have the space for 15s, and want to go with 12s... and I've decided on the Qs now. Any way to trade in and add money for them?

This time its in daylight and is much shorter because people complained on those points last time haha Although this time im driving and its not that easy to control the car and film while having that much bass ripping though the steering wheel haha Update on sub, its loud and insane, ive done several upgrades such as cleaned everything up, the big 3 and moved things around and I seriously could not believe what a massive differnce the big 3 made on how loud this sub goes! edit* oh and please rate and comment if you like, 5* would be nice

Hey guys, my BL came in today and i hooked everything up. Im using a 4.97ft^3 box tuned at 29 hz, and also an orion xtr 1000. Everything sounds fine, i just want to make sure how to play it in order to break it in properly. I did crank it up for a few seconds to see how insane it is and my ears are still hurting, which led to a blown fuse in my distribution block, which was a 60A(please comment on that) The dust cap also gets pretty warm but not hot, im not sure if thats normal. I will also admit that i am a complete idiot and should be shot becasue i drilled a hole through the rubber surrounding, i found out later that the holes were not lined up on the rubber surroun…

I placed an order for two BTL 15''s on Sep. 10th. I ordered dual 2's but would like to change that to dual 1's. Is it too late? I emailed sales as well as sent a PM to Shawn a couple days ago but have not heard back. Would someone from Fi please contact me.

hi all, i have dream to own Fi subwoofer long time ago,but i cant find it in my country and also there have no any website that selling Fi product willing to ship Fi product to Malaysia. i need some one to help me,to teach me how to purchase Fi product.If i own Fi subwoofer,if i have Fi subwoofer,i think i goona be a king of SPL in Malaysia.

Are they really backed up right now, If I order today when should I get my subs? I'm looking to get 2-12" Q's , just wondering if it takes a long time to get the subs. And Would 2 RF 1500-1's be good on these subs for a daily driver. Want subs to sound good on a variety of music (rock, rap, some country,metal ). Would get the 2 ohm version so I could strap amps together at 2 ohms.

Just bought a second hand 18inch single slug motor btl. I would like to know if you can Visual Check the Specification on BTL series. This is question is for newbie like me. all i can say there is an allen bolt found in the bottom of the motor. also flashlight thru the peek holes seems i only viewed the top vc former and a round thingy blocking the view of vc windings. I know the featured tech is described. but am asking for the VISUAL appearances of every each features with and w/o. Much appreciated if its drawn on jpg or actual pics. Sub guts style. I ordered 4 Fi x12's for thier Black FiDay sale, that was eleven days ago. The order status still sez, "Your order is being processed, payment is being carried out by paypal". They debited my paypal account last week, the subs were premade, just wondering when they will update the shipping status. My fiance doesn't like ordering off the internet and she's freakin out like i'm gonna lose almost $300. I know this sites legit, I 'm just very anxious as I have all the stuff to hook up the new system besides the subs. If any of you Fi Guys can look into it for me that would be great. Thanks.

To Whom It May Concern (probably Scott), My name is Brad and I currently run a DIYMA 12" subwoofer in a .5ft^3 box. The DIYMA is an amazingly solid sub with HUGE stacked magnets, but its weak point is definitely its cone. Unfortunately, my cone cracked with less than 150 watts and gain set properly. So I am requesting a custom recone kit for my DIYMA. It has a 3" x 2" 4 layer voice coil. This sub is pretty beefy (37lbs) so shipping it would be a last resort. Can you create a new recone kit for this sub? All information on the sub can be found at www.diymobileaudio.com and I can personally talk to the designer of the sub if you need more information. wich is the best glue for reconeing and where can i get some

So i have an fi q 12 sealed at 1.2 cubes and it sounds like chit to me. It isnt musical at all and it makes a ton of mechanical noise. most of the time thats all i hear. I am running it off a hifonics 1606 amp with the gain turned half way up and the bass boost all the way down. I have a alpine 9883 HU with the sub at + 15 and bass -2. The sub is inverted and it is down firing in a hatchback. Any opinions as to why i it sounds so chitty to my ears. I mean my old system was 2 10w6v1s and it seemed like they were twice as loud off only 650 watts.

I need some help deciding which sub would be my best choice based on my situation. I was originally set on buying 1 12" Fi Q and putting it in a sealed box but the more I read the more I see people choosing the Fi BL and using a ported box as it seems to get louder. I've talked myself into the BL over the Q but after looking at the cut sheets in the technical section I dont think I can comfortably fit the 12" BL ported box in my trunk without giving up a lot of it (Lexus is250), but I could fit the 10" BL ported box comfortably. So which would be a better choice? A 12" Fi Q or a 10" Fi BL? Also I'm not sure if I can post ebay links but wanted to get opinions on t…

today i went to my local car audio shop to see how much theywould charge me to build me a simple port box for my fi bl 18. i told them i want 7cu .ft box tune to 32 hz and sub up and port to the back. they told me i couldnt fit a box that big in a 1991 ford explorer. they told me i should move my box closer to the front and then they showed me pics of a fake wall they did. it looks good but should i pay $400 for a wall but the box and port is all done with the wall?

hey guys, just did up a quick vid of my system, some people requested it yeh noticed my amp was clipping, and i mean i tuned it to 30 volume and max is 35 with all bass settings down, to 44 volts using the chart, and now i tuned it again with the bass knob out, and sub lvl at 15 which is max and bass 0 as it always is, and at 27 volume this time and i just miss the part where you cant breath, mann, can someone help me tune this thing perfectly lol, i dont want people to breath in my car lol, jks but yeh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9hZV71aZTw Please rate and comment, not rly necesary to comment lol, but a rating wud be nice 5* for Fi Car Audio

I need your help guys, I have a 2000 chev. S-10 third door extenened cab. Which sub do you think will hit and sound the best. (1) 12Q sealed, (1) 10Q ported, (1) 10BL ported. I listed to mostly hard rock bands like TOOL, STAIND, SEVENDUST ect. Thank you everyone for helping me. Right now im rocking a 1x fi q 12" in a 2.5 @ 30hz box, it gets pretty loud, but i feel i have to strain a little to get it to my likings. I want to upgrade and have a few optinos that im asking you about I plan on buying a second sae - 1000D and strapping them and producing 1800 - 1900 @ 2 ohms. So that what i have to work with. I have a 4cu box tuned to 33 hz and a sp4 15 in it. if i were to get the hole cut bigger for a sp4 18..what would happen? and is the box too small for the sp4 18 to sound good. btw im in a pontiac g6

Alright so I have had my system in for a couple of months now and I have finally had some time to really get to know it. Now that the hype of having a new system is over I am starting to listen to my normal music and not just rap, so thats stuff like 311, Eve 6, and Modest Mouse. And i have to say is that, it sounds amazing for being a 15. It keeps up with the fastest drum kicks and its clean and crisp. I could not be happier with the SQ of this sub. Before i had 2 10's and those were amazing for rock but this is just as good if not better, I got the benefit of being much louder and having lower notes but did not give up any accuracy!
