Just bought a second hand 18inch single slug motor btl. I would like to know if you can Visual Check the Specification on BTL series. This is question is for newbie like me. all i can say there is an allen bolt found in the bottom of the motor. also flashlight thru the peek holes seems i only viewed the top vc former and a round thingy blocking the view of vc windings. I know the featured tech is described. but am asking for the VISUAL appearances of every each features with and w/o. Much appreciated if its drawn on jpg or actual pics. Sub guts style. I need grilles for my 2 10" SSD's. Not the metra universal mesh ones please. I dont like the look of thoes. Does anyone know of any that I can use? I am not sure that grilles from Kicker, Fosgate, Polk, etc will clear the excursion of the Fi's. Please help if you can. I need them for protection more so than looks, with the exception of that horrible mesh, anything will do. Thanks in advance

I have a 4cu box tuned to 33 hz and a sp4 15 in it. if i were to get the hole cut bigger for a sp4 18..what would happen? and is the box too small for the sp4 18 to sound good. btw im in a pontiac g6

I am thinking about running 3 Q 12's in a boat. I had already made boxes that are .95 cubes a piece when I ordered some Brahmas. Due to Adires current situation the brahmas will not be coming. Anyway, can anyone tell me how the Q works in a sealed box, and if possible how it compares to the brahma. I have not ordered an amp yet, but was hoping to give each sub about 800 watts. Is this enough or do I need to find a larger amp? Right now the only other line I am looking at is TC. I am between the TC-2000, TC-3000, or Q. So I just recieved my BL 15" fully loaded last week i got it pretty much broken in and today i noticed my box had slid around in my trunk almost sliding its way into my back seat and since my back seats were folded down the rubber rib of the sub actually got wedged against the ceiling of my trunk which is about 3-4 inches shorter towards the opening then in the middle of my trunk where it normally should sit. I tried my best to carefully get it out but i failed and ripped about a 2-2.5 inch slit in the rubber rib( bassically it looks like someone took a razor blade to it). I listened to it and theres no difference in sound or SQ that me or anyone could notice. Im wonderi…

hi im going to be buying 2 of these beasts for my 79 gmc stepside. there going in the bed & ported of course because there is no way in hell there going to fit in the cab. im looking around for amps to power these subs and am wondering what rms @ what ohm to get. i need to know what ohms to purchase the 2 subs dual 1 or dual 2 and what kind of amp. i was thinking about audioque 2200d because fi says the 18's rms is 2000 watts. would two of these amps do the trick or should i look for something else? thanks

I went to a car audio place and they basically tried to discredit fi and say theres no way a sub of less than 600 can handle 5000 watts how does a fi Q w/ bp compare to a Re Mx and a MTX Thunder Square 750s

Ok, well...here this goes, hopefully yall can help. My current truck has 6 6x8's in it by RF, the power series. Gets loud. My new truck, on the other hand, is set up for some components. I will also be making a custom console to allow room for more speakers. What is a good brand that gets loud as hell and can stand up to the 15" BTL's I will be pushing. Also, what size speakers should I put in the custom console??

Could somebody please tell me the differences and or pro cons about these two subs? This is what I have narrowed done to to buy. FI is really busy now so I thought I could get some opinions before I order! Thanks

Hi, this is Logan from ecoustics. This is my FI BL 15" Dual 2ohm. It is powered by an Orion 2500D @ 1ohm. I have it in a 3.5cuft enclosure @36hz. This sub is by far the best I have ever had.
