I was just curious as to why it takes so long. Ive been waiting 6 weeks so far on one, email, 4 weeks on another, and 3 weeks on my last email. I've been trying to get information before I place my order but I'm pretty reluctant to order now with NO customer service. Is there no phone number?

So I got there to find out my alternator is dying, and won't keep more than 13.9v at idle. It was a great first show, I did bass race and truck/suv 1501+. I got 149.9 in bass race and took first place. I got 2nd place in truck/suv to todd hardwick (but he has a wall in his truck made just for spl, I have a daily setup. First run was 150.6@44hz, but I thought I peaked a little lower. Next run I tried lower- and got a 150.8@ 35hz. My alternator wouldn't allow for more than the initial burp, so I know redoing my electrical system will do a lot. Either way, a few people were fairly impressed with Fi. 1st place bass race and 2nd spl trophies: A vid of a hair trick, crappy cam…

I am looking at setting up a sub in my car. I have had systems in the past, but I'm used to just running subs from Crutchfield or Best Buy - just choose your size, amount of coils, and throw it in the car. I am looking for a single sub that can handle a lot of power, but still be very clean. I'm not looking to go to any shows or SPL competitions, I just want to enjoy it in my daily driver. My problem is I'm ignorant on reading the specs for the subs on Fi's product page - I don't know what they mean by Fs, Re, Qms, Qes, etc. I have an Elemental Designs Nine.1 amp that I am going to use. It is rated 1200W x 1 @ 1 Ohm and 900W x 1 @ 2 Ohm. What sub would best fit my needs -…

I got my sub last tuesday and it looks great. Today I finished my box and wiring up the sub when I found one set of the terminals was broken. It looks like someone tighten it to much and pulled the screw out. I included a pic of the problem. If I can get a new one I can put it on and solder it myself. Thanx for the help.

Well, I went to a dbdrag today and competed in Bassrace. It was so damn hot outside! It was closing in on 120 degrees! Noone was metering... Just about everyone was down 2.5-3.5dbs. I was such a dumbass I played my subs when I got there and ended up having to go meter with drained batteries and my subs were pretty warm after demoing for like 30 minutes. My score sucked balls, only a 151.5 in bassrace. Oh well, it will be better when the conditions are better, and it might help a LITTLE when I know where my car peaks, and Im not playing some random song. Should also be louder when I play with my amps. My gains arent even 1/8 of the way up, the SSF is set to about 40-45hz (…

Hey guys, just wanted to give you an update on our shipping. We have changed from UPS to Fed Ex. Now when you place your order, you will not get a tracking number until your order actually ships. Previously with UPS you would get the tracker as soon as your order was processed, so customers thought that there order had already shipped, when that was not the case, as we still had to machine all the parts and get it put together. Just trying to let everyone know, what is going on in the world of Fi. Thanks, Shawn

Hey guys, my BL came in today and i hooked everything up. Im using a 4.97ft^3 box tuned at 29 hz, and also an orion xtr 1000. Everything sounds fine, i just want to make sure how to play it in order to break it in properly. I did crank it up for a few seconds to see how insane it is and my ears are still hurting, which led to a blown fuse in my distribution block, which was a 60A(please comment on that) The dust cap also gets pretty warm but not hot, im not sure if thats normal. I will also admit that i am a complete idiot and should be shot becasue i drilled a hole through the rubber surrounding, i found out later that the holes were not lined up on the rubber surroun…

So back on 12/7 i received my two 12" Qs and one of them was damaged from UPS! Called up Fi and Scott answered the phone. He told me to just set the damaged sub outside for next day pick up and he would start making a new one. All I have to say is wow, because Fi has already shipped the new sub to me and its only been two days. Thanks Fi your customer service ROCKS!!

Anyone at Fi, I need to send back my 15" Q for repair. My brother wanted to help me when I was attaching it to the box and he slipped with the drill, poking a hole in the rubberish material between the paper cone and the gasket. I was wondering what repair costs would be for that? I no longer have the box it was shipped to me in, so what I will have to do is have Fi send me a box for it. If it is an option, I would also just like to have the box already pre-payed to ship to y'all and then y'all send it back to me, and I can pay the total for repair and the shipping both ways, whatever it would be. I am pretty sure I am going to have this sent back and have that replaced,…

Now that I'm working agian, I'm ready to spend some of the money I just made... I have a Q10 and talked to Nick a while back about changing the coils from dual 1ohm to dual 2ohm in order to match my sae-1000D better. My question is: since the sub would be in the hands of Fi for the recone to change the coils, would it be worth it to upsize to a bigger cone as well? such as a 12 or 15? I will run this sealed because it is in an extended cab s10. So basically, will going from 600rms to 1100rms make a big difference or not? Thanks in advance, Mike B.

Ok guys...I'm getting really close to making some things happen and I wanted to know if 6 SSD 18's sealed in the Cargo area of my Tahoe would rock.......I thinking 2 cubes each? I probably need Nick or Shawn on this one. Each sub is gonna get 1200-1500 watts rms if that helps. I'm also gonna have 3 alts and 5 batts so electrical should be ok....Let me know what you think......GO FI AUDIO GO!!

I'm wondering if anyone know if I have to upgrade anything if i just want to put a 12" FiQ in my trunk. I want to conserve trunk space so I'm not looking for a full out system just something for quality. Is this the right sub or should I get something else? Any suggestion on head units I been looking at pioneers and soud storm. Suggestion will be nice and ill look into them. I'm going to make a box and should be at about 1.8 Will post pictures when all done. Might not be up until later this year since im going on vacation :]. Switching from JBL to FI btw.

OK, so i've had 2 hifonics bxi2006ds for my 2 btls, but I've been wanting more power. I just purchased one of the bxi's not too long ago, and I take real good care of my stuff so my bro bought it for almost what I paid. To replace it I just purchased a SoundStream 10000d from another member of this forum. I was thinking I'll just go buy another one to match, but I'm considering waiting for the 2nd amp to do side-by-side comparison of different amps that claim to put out a lot of power. I want to put 4-5kwatts per btl for daily and maybe a few comps, but mainly just groud-pounding, so one amp per sub. Whatever I find to be the best sound/spl combo I'll get 2 of. As I do th…
