This time its in daylight and is much shorter because people complained on those points last time haha Although this time im driving and its not that easy to control the car and film while having that much bass ripping though the steering wheel haha Update on sub, its loud and insane, ive done several upgrades such as cleaned everything up, the big 3 and moved things around and I seriously could not believe what a massive differnce the big 3 made on how loud this sub goes! edit* oh and please rate and comment if you like, 5* would be nice

Hello, I am having some problems with my Fi Q 12" and I dont know what happened. The other day I was listening to some music and then suddenly my sub stopped working completely. I tested the resistance from both the coils and only one side is working, what should I do? Do I need a recone? Ive sent some emails to scott nick and the sales emails and called and left a few messages but havent heard from anyone yet. Is there any way the sub could be fixed?

I have a crew cab titan, and with using glass/wood I can get around 2.5ft^3 or two 1.24ft^3 boxes... sealed would be easiest... but the subs would cost more... and I love the sound of ported boxes ... but it would likely go lower and higher and have just generally better sq... 2 BL 10"s ported... would be nice but I don't know exactly how much space I'd have after sub/port displacment and if the internal shape of the box would affect the performance alot to where it's as bad as a sealed box... I'm on the wall here and can't figure which way to go.. I suppose I could do the BL's 1st since it would be cheaper lol... and if I wasn't happy do the Qs later.. but if I weren'…

got my setup metered at a comp which is 2 12 ssds copper coils on 1500d scored a 140.4 and met a guy with 8 15 ssds cool guy and I believe he is on this forum as well can't remember his name on here. thanks scott for a great product.

I've been considering buying a Fi sub(s) for my '02 Ford Explorer, but I can't decide whether or not I should get a single Q12, Q15, BL12, BL15, or a pair of SSD12s. I like listening to artists such as Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Armin van Buuren, and some rock. I'm leaning towards a more SQ system that can get LOUD! Which Fi would you recommend me getting and what type of enclosure will sound best in my Expo?

Are they really backed up right now, If I order today when should I get my subs? I'm looking to get 2-12" Q's , just wondering if it takes a long time to get the subs. And Would 2 RF 1500-1's be good on these subs for a daily driver. Want subs to sound good on a variety of music (rock, rap, some country,metal ). Would get the 2 ohm version so I could strap amps together at 2 ohms.

im getting an explorer XLT and im wandering how 4 18" q's sealed would do VS. 2 18" BTLs ported. which would get louder which would sound better? im thinkin that the Q's would win both scenarios but i thought id come here to see what everyone thinks...

Just bought a second hand 18inch single slug motor btl. I would like to know if you can Visual Check the Specification on BTL series. This is question is for newbie like me. all i can say there is an allen bolt found in the bottom of the motor. also flashlight thru the peek holes seems i only viewed the top vc former and a round thingy blocking the view of vc windings. I ordered 4 Fi x12's for thier Black FiDay sale, that was eleven days ago. The order status still sez, "Your order is being processed, payment is being carried out by paypal". They debited my paypal account last week, the subs were premade, just wondering when they will update the shipping status. My fiance doesn't like ordering off the internet and she's freakin out like i'm gonna lose almost $300. I know this sites legit, I 'm just very anxious as I have all the stuff to hook up the new system besides the subs. If any of you Fi Guys can look into it for me that would be great. Thanks.

Hypothetically if I have a box that is 1 cuft tuned to 30 hz, for say an 10" type r or ID, will this box have a different tuning frequency for a different sub with different parameters, such as a 10" Fi Q? Box being the same and same port area.

I need some help deciding which sub would be my best choice based on my situation. I was originally set on buying 1 12" Fi Q and putting it in a sealed box but the more I read the more I see people choosing the Fi BL and using a ported box as it seems to get louder. I've talked myself into the BL over the Q but after looking at the cut sheets in the technical section I dont think I can comfortably fit the 12" BL ported box in my trunk without giving up a lot of it (Lexus is250), but I could fit the 10" BL ported box comfortably. So which would be a better choice? A 12" Fi Q or a 10" Fi BL? Also I'm not sure if I can post ebay links but wanted to get opinions on t…

Well guys, thought you might want to see what I got in the car finally. After a LOT of hard work (totally dynamatted the car, custom mounted Utopia tweets in the front, etc etc) I got the subs in today and started hittin on em w/ the Fosgate T20001bd. Here's a quick pic after I got the subs in. The box is 2.25 cubic ft. per sub, tuned to 32Hz. It's not the Cadillac of Meade's, lol but it'll do for me. btw, props to Fi, Scott, Nick, everybody on the "team." I played the subs for about 15 minutes and I'm ready to go jam em tomorrow hehe.

Hello, I plan to buy some subs from here. I have a 93 camaro. Im wanting a very loud system with decent SQ. Ive been told to just get 1 10 in a custom box on another forum, but was hoping an emloyee would help me more. I was planning on getting 1 BTL 10/12/15 but dont know which would be best given the room in a camaro trunk. In a chevy tahoe. He swears by rocford and im wanting a system that will be just as loud, if not louder then his.(least thats what im hoping for)

hey guys, just did up a quick vid of my system, some people requested it yeh noticed my amp was clipping, and i mean i tuned it to 30 volume and max is 35 with all bass settings down, to 44 volts using the chart, and now i tuned it again with the bass knob out, and sub lvl at 15 which is max and bass 0 as it always is, and at 27 volume this time and i just miss the part where you cant breath, mann, can someone help me tune this thing perfectly lol, i dont want people to breath in my car lol, jks but yeh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9hZV71aZTw Please rate and comment, not rly necesary to comment lol, but a rating wud be nice 5* for Fi Car Audio

I need your help guys, I have a 2000 chev. S-10 third door extenened cab. Which sub do you think will hit and sound the best. (1) 12Q sealed, (1) 10Q ported, (1) 10BL ported. I just ordered an BL 18 and chose the universal option and the extreme lead option. I sent an email the other day asking about these two options and never got a response. Then after reading alittle on here i saw that they dont answer none order emails. And after reading on here i found out what they are and would like to change my order. Do you all think this would be possible. I have emailed the company, and i did just order the sub. I have a 4cu box tuned to 33 hz and a sp4 15 in it. if i were to get the hole cut bigger for a sp4 18..what would happen? and is the box too small for the sp4 18 to sound good. btw im in a pontiac g6
