I currently have 2 SSD 15s (with copper coils) in my jeep wrangler. I have them in a ported box but they just arn't loud enough for me. They're on a sundown 1500d and i have another sundown sitting around waiting to be used. I'm wondering if 4 SSD 15s in a sealed box would be louder than 2 in a ported box. I don't think i have enough space to put 4 in a ported box. Would 6 SSD 15s be noticeably louder than 4? With 2 i can give them more power than they can handle. With 4 they'll probably get about 750 rms each. With 6 they'll probably get about 500 rms each. Is the increase in cone area worth the decrease in power per woofer? Hey I was looking for some subs that wang, and I came across FI Audio. The SSD seems to suit my needs, but I haven't seen a price. What would 2 of these subs run me about?

So, which of the two would you do and why? About how much SPL will the 4 Q's produce. I am open to just about anything, and really do listen to EVERYTHING. I ALSO FORGOT TO ADD ONE MORE CHOICE, BUT OH WELL. 4 Q'S PORTED.

Right now in my truck I have a ported enclosure with 2 12" Rockford P3's, 500 watts each. I am new, so to me this is really nice and loud....actually produces a decent amount of SPL, made my rearview mirror fall off a couple times. Anyway, do you think 2 12" or 15" Q's sealed can compete if not beat these. I know they will kill the P3's in SQ, but I dont wanna lose all my SPL. I keep reading these things throw out a nice amount even sealed. THANXXX

I need to know how to go about getting some Fi stickers. I have posted a review on the Q and several other threads on the Fi Q. I know there was something about posting reviews and whatnot to get a free sticker and shirt if I remember correctly. I dont normally do the sticker thing but I have my first show coming up next month and I am going to "label" up for it.

I was reading the sticky "how long will it take to get my sub", and it was saying something about an e-mail i should have recieved from UPS. I ordered my Bl on sunday, so should i have recieved something? I did get an email from Fi giving me my invoice number in a confirmation email though.??

I just wanted to give props to FI. I have been reading lots of various magazines involving cars and have never really seen FI anywhere. Yesterday I picked up the new copy of Car Audio Magazine and long behold, one of the champion SPL competitors was in it showin his 4 18" BTLs which he hit over 180dbs with. Nice to see them in a magazine and getting some attention. I am sure this will cause a small flood of people who never heard of ya to become more interested. CONGRATS!!

Hello, im making a box for my 15" Fi BL its gonna be 36 x 18 x 18 4.7 ft3 @ 30.5hrz daily driver just looking for some ground shaking fun : ) will this be a good box for that woofer?

I just realized I ordered the extreme leads for my BL 18's that are intended for daily/bassrace, I ordered the subs about 2 days ago. Is it too late to get rid of the extreme leads, or is it not really going ot be an issue? PLEASE HELP. If there is somebody I can contact by phone please pm me with the info. Thanks.

I have a few questions about the Fi X series subs... I am going to buy 2 of the 12" and would like to know a few things before I purchase... The number one thing is... How much power is too much? I know Scott said not to expect super power handling but I mean is 400 RMS fine? How about 500 RMS? I know with most subs 200 rms over is no problem but that is 2/3 again the RMS rating on these so I was just wondering... Also, would you classify these as more spl or sq? I know it is probably not extremely high spl or sq but for the price you cant beat it... Im gonna be putting these in a 1cf per sub box with polyfil in it and pushed by either 300 or 400 RMS a piece... What kind …

See i ordered 2 12 Fi Bl but the more and more i look around...a 15' btl or a 12' Btl would do so much better...well i have not gotten my tracking number yet...so is it possible to change??? to a fully loaded btl???instead of the bl

Alright, while i sit here waiting for my order to arrive for (1) 18" BTL D2, i decide to browse craigslist.. I run into another 18" BTL D2 which looks to be in good condition.. $380.. now im really confused. lol. I haven't had the box built maybe i should just go with 2 instead of 1? The current amp i have is a sundown saz1500 .. which would be fine with 1 btl but i dont think its gonna cut it with 2 of them.. so my options IF i decide to buy this sub... buy another saz1500 and run them separately @ 1 ohm each... Strap the 2 1500's together and run them @ 2 ohms together.... I would love to sell my 1500 and buy a saz3500 but that's out of the budget right now. Doing this …

i blew a voice coil in my 15" btl, how much are recones and is reconing it difficult?

So i just recently bought 2 15in BL Dual 2 subs with the cooling package and i have 2 questions... 1) Now im usually pretty good with this buuuuuuut I'm guessing that Dual 2 means that i can only wire the subs at either 2 ohms or 4 ohms... 2) If I can only wire it down to 2 ohms what amp should i use? ive been looking and looking and the only amp that i could really find to push em was the Power Acoustiks 5500 BAMF series amp that puts out 2500w rms at 2ohms Any answers/ suggestions would be nice... Ok guys new to the forums i'm looking for some advice on my upcoming electrical situation. I'm going to be ordering the new FI Q 18" with the cooling or bp option when it comes out. I have decided to go with the Sundown Sae-1200d also. The q will be in a 6-10 cf ported box. The car I'm putting the system into is a 2009 Ford Escape. So far everything in the car is stock electrical wise. I have ordered a knukonceptz 1/0 gauge amp kit and around 20 feet more of 1/0 gauge to do the big three. So after the big three and 1/0 gauge wiring i'm curious as to what you guys think i should do electrically with 1200 watts of power, to get the best out of my system. My budget is only a…
