i was bumpin on down the road and all of the sudden my sub cut out... perplexed, i went to the back to make sure all necessary wires connected ... as they were and drove home, pulled the sub out of my box and one of the tinsel leads was fried.........i have a 12" Q powered by a eD nINE running at 2 ohms and a comfortable 950 watts ....so i dont believe that this was an error on my part i have done all my big 3 running 4 gauge wire everything ....how and how much is it going to take to fix this asap......my sub should still be under warranty seeing how i bought it only about 7 months ago......please help i cant live without beats

I just took 1st in class two weeks in a row with one 12" BTL fully loaded doing a 142.2 coming out of the trunk of my car. I rebuilt my box to 45 Hz instead of 33 Hz and gained 1 DB I think that we are going to wall of my trunk to try and get another 3 to 5 DBs out of it. Is any one else going to world finals for USACI in Omaha Ne this year or will I have to be the only one that represents FI this year? Also let me know what you think about walling off a 300.

do these designs apply to the new fi btl n2 as well? just wondering....

so fi has upgraded the btl ssd and q to the single slug motors, do they plan to do the same with the bl? i have a ssd and wanna try the bl but would like the newer version if its coming....

ok im fixing to order in a few days so i was going to get some opinions on what i have come up with what im looking at... i have been kind of stuck between the btl and bl....but i've finally decided on the bl i will be going with two 12"" on the options im going with dual 1, cooling,flatwind,daily, as far as the universal i dont plan on needing to change the impedence..... going to giving them around 2500rms in a 6 cu ft enclosure before sub and port displacement @35hz how does this sound....

My subs were shipped by FedEx. They arrived at my doorstep efficiently packaged and unharmed. The subs have no scratches, paint chips, excess glue or any other abnormality. The build quality looks excellent without having any extra unneeded cosmetics.

im getting an explorer XLT and im wandering how 4 18" q's sealed would do VS. 2 18" BTLs ported. which would get louder which would sound better? im thinkin that the Q's would win both scenarios but i thought id come here to see what everyone thinks...

Got my eye on a BL 15 on Craigslist. Guy tells me the plastic piece that holds the sub terminals in place is broken.. Seems like an easy super glue/silicone fix but I'm worried what may have caused it.. He didn't seem to think it was a problem as if he has been running it just hanging there. I wouldn't think you would want those hanging? What do you guys think about that? Is it an easy fix? Would you purchase this sub? Pics look perfect but he mentioned the prob which has no pic. Ok guys...I'm getting really close to making some things happen and I wanted to know if 6 SSD 18's sealed in the Cargo area of my Tahoe would rock.......I thinking 2 cubes each? I probably need Nick or Shawn on this one. Each sub is gonna get 1200-1500 watts rms if that helps. As it states, this is just something I am curious to see. All would be in the optimum enclosures and tuned appropriately. I am curious how many pick sealed vs ported, size of the subs, etc. Again, this is all subjective and I am doing this out of curiousity to find out what the majority of you audiophiles would really go with. Lets say 1k watts per sub. optimum enclosure. trunk install. I am tryin to get ideas of what a general Fi user loves before I even start thinkin of my next setup.

Hey all, I'm thinking of buying a Fi Q with the cooling option, and was going to power it with a Kicker ZX1500.1 or an MTX TE1501D. Both are rated at 1500 watts, but the kicker is at 2 ohm and the MTX is at 1 ohm. Would 2ohm be better, since I heard that running the same wattage, a 2 ohm amp is going to be more stable and run cooler/more reliably than those running at 1 ohm. First off...would the MTX be a better bet? I believe it has an adjustable subsonic filter for 20hz-50hz, where as the kicker is non adjustable at 25hz. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but I heard it was an important feature. Could anyone explain the reasoning behind this? Secondly, any opinions, …

I have a 2008 bl 15 w cooling and flatwind option on a us amps 2000x (2000w easily). Have had this setup for bout 9 months now running with no issues but it seems as of late that it just doesn't seem to be as accurate as it used to be. Also feels like I'm missing some punch. Being that I've been throwing a lot of power to it, possible that the soft parts properties changing from all the movement?

Has any body owened or heard the sa 8'' subs if so what are they comparable to? By this i mean can they get as loud as a 12? I know they will be mutch more punchy but i was just wondering how well they preform. Thanks
