I have been slowly putting my system together, and I'm about ready to add the mono amp, replace the subwoofer, add sound dampening, and bring my front stage up to full power. To give you guys an idea of what I'm working with: H/U - Alpine CDE-9872 Front Stage - CDT ES-620 6.5" Component Speakers, rated 150W RMS @ 4ohm Rear fills - Stock, connected to H/U, going to stay that way Amp - TMA T320.4, currently hooked up to the front stage, 60W x 2 @ 4ohm, and the subwoofer on 2 channels total of 120W (will upgrade this amp at a later date, its pretty low-end, even though its made by JL) Subwoofer - TMA T12S4P, rated at 150W @ 4ohm, currently running at 120W @ 4ohm The curre…

Hopefully you guys can put a tracers/tracker or whatever on it....This is BS! I cant believe this. I shipped it to my work address since there's usually someone there all the time. My home....hardly anyone is around. I can't belive this. Scott, or whoever if you can verify SIGNATURES...I'd be glad to do a sig test. or whatever, but I didn't sign for that. I have called the store next door to me...Stuff (pawn shop) they dont have it....the other store next door to me is 7-11, and I have good relationships with both stores...So I have no fear of foul play yet. But this is aggravating....was hoping to have it this week...and I've been trying to get an answer from so…

As title states, I orded my 18, and now I'm thinking of how I'm making a box, it's going to sit inside of a 2000 Four Runner, last box I made was for 2 12's at 5cubes, 33hz Can I make a box at 6.7 cubes and tune it to 28 hertz? or will that sound bad.. I like low tuning by the way Thanks guys! Also, do you think a Audioque 2200D is perfect for this sub?

i have finally landed on fi as my sub. now i want (2) 18's and i am working with about 10-12cubes in my trunk. they will be powered with a zx2500 and ample electrical. i want to try a new sub so this is what my infatuation with 18's is. i dont think that the bl's would satify me but have also heard that powering 2 btl's with only 2700 watts would be a waste. i want to get the most bass possible from my setup with what i have and want. what would be the best suited sub for me considering that i want 18's?

hi i'm an old guy, got a fi q15 on an saz 1500d in my suv. my son wants to go to sound comps, so i figured on getting another saz1500d to stap and getting a btl for the weekends. don't need to win but want to at least be competitive enough to keep his interest and make it worth the effort so how much difference will the average user find between the old 2 slug btl and the new 1 slug ? and is the difference enough that i realy should be looking for a one slug. i get that they booth are going to be crazy but on the meter does it matter that much ? i've heard pepole say it wasn't worth upgrading but i don't own either yet . thanks

So I got my 2 Q 15's installed in the box (7cuft @ 32Hz), running off an AQ2200D, and installed my 36sqft of Damplifier Pro (great stuff FYI) but I seem to be having a problem getting the bass into the cabin. I knew that I'd probably run into this problem with such a big box so I'm weighing my options now. The box is rear facing, and when I pull it within about 6"-8" from the back of the car the bass seems to be the "best", but I still have limited clearance around the top and sides of the box. The bass sounds extremely peaky at higher frequencies (60-80Hz) and I believe this is because the trunk is actually functioning something like a double vented bandpass and blocking…

Well I hit my first competition today in Mccomb, Ms..I had my 15" BL in the Trunk with the seats up..Just like I ride around with everyday. I hit a 140.9...in the passenger Kick panel with my passenger window down. Should I be discouraged or happy..I hated I couldn't use my own music and had to use the Usac Cd the guy provided me..Cause I didn't know my noter or that cd that they stuck in my deck...I think If I would have know my note I would have done better...Please give me some feedback..

Sign In for anyone checking out FI from elders to newbies or newbie elders like myself. Let us know if you work for FI any affiliation, have FI products, or what you want from FI Before I drop my own name I must give an elders first so I think the guy who earns that spot is Steave Meade and if you havn't checked out his site do it. www.*****.com Obviously he is an FI fan and Reppin that chit hard. My name is "Joe Rod" and I'll be ordering 418's in the next week or two. Havn't decided on the SSD's or BL's yet but they will be in a bandpass enclosure of an 88 S10 Blazer Let us know who else is out their …

To get the word out, I think it would be helpful to understand where you first heard about Fi and of course how you ended up visiting their forum at SSA. For me it was right here on SSA, and I am glad that they chose their home here!

Sad that the windshield imploded before I could get a full burp out of it and show what it can really do maybe next time. So far I have had a IASCA and now a USACi SQ judge say they have never heard music so loud and so clean. Makes me smile all this hard work and tweeking is coming around. Also you will notice I did closed up scores Next time I will do it the official USACi way. Look at the scope below, I was just getting it starting to ramp up when I noticed the window let go.

For those that don't make it SMD Here it is. It's a D1 model, in series for the video. They are going in for a recone to change the ohms of the coil. I told my wife we were doing it, i guess she didn't know what to expect. You will hear I got busted. The lights in the house were dimming pretty bad. you can see it in the video. The dust cap was warm and the felt pads had burn marks from the tinsel leads. It sticks really bad but it still works. http://s26.photobucket.com/albums/c112/bag...nt=100_4240.flv after The woofer still stinks. It moves freely, but i hooked it up again to get a reading at my house panel. We have digital meters in our area now. my normal Kwh is betwe…

Im new to the sub game. Looking for a pretty inexpensive setup that i can play everyday and that hits hard. I was looking at Fi's products and maybe just 1 ssd 15" would be nice or should i get 2 12" or just 1 18" could do what i want. Should i just forget about the 18" because of the cost of a ported box and amp and head unit would be alot? I just basically need help on which subs to pick, amp, and head unit that would be inexpensive. Thanks.
