Whoah. I mean, whoah. My Fi Q showed up today and I'm in awe of this sucker. It's built like a tank! I've been through quite a few subs and I think this single 12" might end up putting my two Phoenix Gold RSDc 12"s to shame. My main goal was to reduce weight in the back of my Scion Tc trunk while still maintaining some heavy punch. Here's some eye candy, including the custom 1.3 cu ft Fisher box I had built especially for this little monster. I can't wait to get it mounted and broken in. Thanks Fi!

First show with the BL18's finally playing in the wall, didnt do dbdrag, but managed a 148.3 for bass race....I was pretty happy considering we still havent done any testing on it Lots of work to do yet, the baffle (5 layers thick) was still flexing like a mofo, so we def. need some bracing. Still have to tune the wall as well, woofers getting a little warm and smelly :-) Love the subs, def seeing a 150+ bass race in the near future!! I'll try and post pics soon...

I'm putting my first system in the backseat of my 2004 Ford F150. What I would like to do is put 2 BL12's back there and run them off of either a Kicker ZX2500.1 or 2 ZX1000.1's, but I have several questions. I want to wire them to 2ohms to get the full potential out of my amps, so will I need to get the subs with dual 1 or dual 2 ohm voice coils? As far as a box goes, I plan on getting a custom slot ported box made. I ran my measurements through a program and it came back with these specs: Net Airspace- 2.5 cu. ft. per sub Port Volume- 1.586 cu. ft. Port Area- 80.39 sq. in. Tuning- 32 Hz Will these specs satisfy these subs? Also as far electrical goes, I plan on doing th…

Alright so i have been thinking of buying an 10" FI Q sub and i am quite positive that its what i want. But the only downside is that i have no idea about the size of the amp that would be a good size for this, and also the right gauge wire.. my cousin is going to help me with installation, but first i would like some suggestions for wiring and amps. So if someone could help me out that would be great.. thanks

Wow. that describes it. Last night I heard a 15" btl ran off of 1500 watts and it was so loud. I just ordered a 15" bl on thursday and if my sub gets any where near as loud as that one im gonna be pretty happy. After getting that little taste of fi im impressed.

While reading 'BL Enclosure Recommendations' I stumbled upon the word 'peaking'. Full paragraph below. Please someone, elaborate on this term.. Flatwind: The flatwire coil option simply helps the power handling of the sub. The coil has more surface area to dissipate heat and will take more power then the regular round wire coil that comes in the

Since copper coils are now standard on the SSD line, I was wondering if the flatwind voice coils are also copper?

Ok guys, I just updated the website. All cooling, hyper pole, p chamfer, and coil upgrades (flatwind, high x-max) on new subs are now free for Black Friday! Let go ahead and start this sale up! So basically if you get an N2 you can fully load it for free, which would be $55 off.

I have four BTL 15 N2s, all ordered and received a couple months ago. The web site claims a cutout diameter of 14.125 inches. Well good thing I measured before I cut, because that's too big for any of my subs. And what's more, the subs all differ from each other! One sub takes a cutout of 13.75, another a cutout of 14, and the final two a cutout of 13.825. (I verified these exactly by cutting different-sized holes in scrap wood with my router, then fitting the subs). All subs have the same outer diameter of 15.5 (again not like the website, which claims 15.625). I must say I'm kind of surprised the manufacturing tolerances in the basket can vary this much? Is this expect…

OK, as many of you know the forum crashed during an update and we lost the past 6 months worth of posts and info. This forum is such a valuable tool for customers, new and old, to post questions, reviews, and use as a database to search from. So... I want things built back up and fast. I am hammering out all the details of what this little contest will be and how exactly all the free stuff will be handed out... shirts/stickers. But it looks like it will boil down to this: 1. For those with Fi products: A. Start a detailed topic with description of your system using Fi subs... pics (are a must even if they are off a bad camera phone), enclosure design, amps(s) use…

Sooooo, I was asked by a friend who is about to order some BLs to ask on here. He is gettin the fully loaded BLs and wants to know if they can take 2k watts daily???? The longest he blares his system for at a given time is about 30min, but his current setup is crap so i doubt it will be full crank with BLs.

Just a short story, i thought I would share. Im not expert, but i try to keep my mouth shut. However, i always run into kids who know nothing, but like to run there mouths like they do. So anyways, I went to the bank to drop of a deposit and then stopped at the mobile to get some cigs. As im coming out, theres this kid in a Tracker parked right next to me. I mean i have to squeeze in my door hes so close. So i go to hop in the jeep and he says yo dawg whats up. Im pretty friendly so I made small talk with him. Anyways, he finally says, so you want to buy a system or know anyone who does. And I said nah, im not really into that chit hoping to get off the subject. So …

Ok My max dimensions are 15" x 36"x 22" these total up to have an external dimension of 7.18 cu ft and I come up with internal dimensions of 13.5" x 34.5" x 21.5" that comes out to 5.79 cu ft internally I want 32 hz tuning so I came up with a port of 4" x 13.5" x 22" This enclosure is for 2 FI qs with the bp power option once I sell my beloved ssds of course. I am looking to do subs facing my trunk lid and the port unloading to the side with a flair of course so please somebody help me to let me know these numbers are correct and what is the total sq inches for the port.
