Installed a BL 12 last night and I was wondering how long does this thing need to break in before I can play it loud? Thanks. All the gains are pretty much down.

Whats up Shawn?? Quick Question, about how much does it cost to do all the big upgrades in a truck. New alt, wiring, etc. I know this is probably the most imp thing my truck will need. Esp if I try to run the 4 BTL's. What is a good alternator company. This is for a 2006 or 07 Chevy Silverado.

Will four eD nine.1s amps be enough power to push 4 BL 18s. Btw what is the minimum air space required ported per sub?

I have a crew cab titan, and with using glass/wood I can get around 2.5ft^3 or two 1.24ft^3 boxes... sealed would be easiest... but the subs would cost more... and I love the sound of ported boxes ... but it would likely go lower and higher and have just generally better sq... 2 BL 10"s ported... would be nice but I don't know exactly how much space I'd have after sub/port displacment and if the internal shape of the box would affect the performance alot to where it's as bad as a sealed box... I'm on the wall here and can't figure which way to go.. I suppose I could do the BL's 1st since it would be cheaper lol... and if I wasn't happy do the Qs later.. but if I weren'…

I have sent a few e-mails over the last few weeks to a few different e-mail addresses but have yet to receive a response from anyone. Hi I was just wondering how long you would typically have to wait for a recone kit to be shipped? I live in a Seychelles so had to get a third party shipper to order the recone kit for me, so I have no way of knowing how far in the process it is. I am just curious because I noticed a lot of people asking about their recones and would like to get mine before christmas. Thanks

Ok so i was wondering if anyone here can reccomend a 1ohm 1000w RMS mono amp to use with a 12" SSD? I chose BP power and copper coil for the options. Also i was wondering if there would be a difference between 1000w RMS @ 4 ohm and 1000w RMS @ 1 ohm. Right now its running 4ohm but the highs are not that loud. Lights dim more but its not as loud compared to lower notes.

so i have 2 18" fully loaded BTLs waiting to be put in with 2 2400 watt rms hifonics amps....1 amp for each sub... but i need to know how many batteries do i need ?? also what brand / model ?? also how many amps does the alternator need to be ... i know i need to upgrade the alternator.... what brand ?? where can i get the alternator ?? im not a beginner to car audio so i know a little about what im talking about this system is going in a 91 honda civic hatch btw

Hello, I plan to buy some subs from here. I have a 93 camaro. Im wanting a very loud system with decent SQ. Ive been told to just get 1 10 in a custom box on another forum, but was hoping an emloyee would help me more. I was planning on getting 1 BTL 10/12/15 but dont know which would be best given the room in a camaro trunk. In a chevy tahoe. He swears by rocford and im wanting a system that will be just as loud, if not louder then his.(least thats what im hoping for)

Hello, I am having some problems with my Fi Q 12" and I dont know what happened. The other day I was listening to some music and then suddenly my sub stopped working completely. I tested the resistance from both the coils and only one side is working, what should I do? Do I need a recone? Ive sent some emails to scott nick and the sales emails and called and left a few messages but havent heard from anyone yet. Is there any way the sub could be fixed?

Ok, now I figured this is an infinite baffle. Just found out by googling it. Now comes the real question, What positives and negatives come from an inifinite baffle? Do they sound good at all and can they produce some nice SPL or would I be better off just makin a ported enclosure.

I need to know how to go about getting some Fi stickers. I have posted a review on the Q and several other threads on the Fi Q. I know there was something about posting reviews and whatnot to get a free sticker and shirt if I remember correctly. I'm probably going to get a Bl 15 soon so i was reading the "tech" section on the fi website about the BL's. One thing i didn't understand is why they said that they recommend getting the P-chamfer option when they don't even offer it for the sub as far as i know. If you look at the bl's that option does not show up.

Will 2 6" Aeros be enough or should i do 3? The external dimensions of the box are 48.5W x 20D x 16H. Looking to tune to around 33hz or so. Help me out here guys need to order the ports from PSP-INC pretty Soon.

I've seen a few different ways to wire a DVC sub in parallel. but which way is right?
