Ok so i was wondering if anyone here can reccomend a 1ohm 1000w RMS mono amp to use with a 12" SSD? I chose BP power and copper coil for the options. Also i was wondering if there would be a difference between 1000w RMS @ 4 ohm and 1000w RMS @ 1 ohm. Right now its running 4ohm but the highs are not that loud. Lights dim more but its not as loud compared to lower notes.

Need to change Coil imp from .5 to 2ohm. Is it possible? Cost? Time?

Ok, now I figured this is an infinite baffle. Just found out by googling it. Now comes the real question, What positives and negatives come from an inifinite baffle? Do they sound good at all and can they produce some nice SPL or would I be better off just makin a ported enclosure.

Pretty much as stated at the top, I'm just curious if they can recone it for me, and if they do will I lose all the linear travel I had? How will it affect my power handling and sound quality? Thanks for any and all help guys.

I've been considering buying a Fi sub(s) for my '02 Ford Explorer, but I can't decide whether or not I should get a single Q12, Q15, BL12, BL15, or a pair of SSD12s. I like listening to artists such as Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Armin van Buuren, and some rock. I'm leaning towards a more SQ system that can get LOUD! Which Fi would you recommend me getting and what type of enclosure will sound best in my Expo?

Installed a BL 12 last night and I was wondering how long does this thing need to break in before I can play it loud? Thanks. All the gains are pretty much down.

Just purchased a new in crate 18" btl with the ufo style motor.is there a way i can tell if it has the daily use or spl option?? The sub is EXTREMLY stiff.. I looked on the inside to see wat it said in maker on the former but all it said was dual 2 btl 18 fc. I hope its the daily lol im gona need to sell it if its the spl option unfortanantly.. any input would be greatly appreciated.thanks

What would you prefer? 2 10" BL's ported with about 2.5 cu ft volume after displacement (2k watts total) or 1 15" BTL ported with 3 cu ft after displacement (about 2.5k watts). I wanna get loud, but not for competition and still save some room in my car. If 3 cu ft is to small for a 15, I could always put a 12" BTL back there. I just wanna get the most bang for my buck and still have ample room for storage. Dodge Charger by the way...I gave up on SQ, realized its not really my thing.

Ok so im planning on running Stinger hpm 0 ga, with a audioque 2200d pushing a 12" btl in a 2.0 cu. ft. box tuned to 32 hz will be getting bigger soon got it cheap from a friend, and will be keeping my alpine cda 9883 hu for now, this setup will be in a 04 ranger edge with the 3.0, may take my old 4ga wiring from old setup to do big 3, mostly depending on how bad dimmage i have, is there anything ive missed or need to do other than that? Also i hear a lot about people "clipping" being a noob what can do to not let this happen so far ive had 3 audio setups and have had none blow dont wanna start with my btl! Thanks

Will be going into a 03 Civic sedan, and powered by a Ultimate T3-1000D (around 2000W RMS). 15" BL would have cooling, flatwind, and enclosure would be the following: 3.1 ft^3, 33hz, 43.5 in^2 of port 12" BTL would have cooling, HiXmCoil, and enclosure would be the following: 2.5 ft^3, 33hz, 37 in^2 of port I am wondering if the HiXmCoil would make up for the loss of surface area going from a 15 to a 12? Should I squeeze the 15 into a smaller box or give the 12 lots of room to breathe? I want to move as much air as possible but in a daily driver situation. Hello there. I am looking for a subwoofer to compete in Swedeish serie of Bassrace this summer,I've been looking at the BL's and the BTL's and i am not realy sure what to go with. Because thay need to handle music both loud and ("Good" if you can say that about SPL woofers). The Amp i got at this moment is a Mutant 1500xxx,so i have abit over 1500wrms to play with. I have send mails to you guys at FI somehow i haven't got an replay yet so i'll take this in the forum insteed. Is it possible for me as a Swedish cusomer to buy subs directly from you? got my setup metered at a comp which is 2 12 ssds copper coils on 1500d scored a 140.4 and met a guy with 8 15 ssds cool guy and I believe he is on this forum as well can't remember his name on here. thanks scott for a great product.

I would like to get this sub reconed to 10" for SPL only. It is rated at 600 watts rms but I have burped it at over 5k no issues. Dual 2 woofer. What kinda options do I have as far as recone goes? Got some pics here:

hey guys, hope you all had a good weekend ! right now my BL is facing the rear and box is only out of .5 mdf because its all i had at the moment, but now im planing on puttin another layer on the sides,front and and top. Will that help with deepness and loudness? I know it stops the box from flexing a bit but dont know what that does for sound. as for the box facing rear, im planing on turning it around and hopefully sealing it off by putting two cut outs on the sides (one on each) going straight across. To fill in the gaps, is gorilla tape good ?
