hey guys just curious about a H O alternater i found online. i wanna know if anyone has any knowledge of these or uses this alternator at all. also any suggestions for alternative alternators are welcomed. the set up i am going to run is 2 12' BL subs with a saz-2000d. looking at a xs power battery as well. i have already done the big three. here is a link to the alternator i was looking to buy. ok guys so i came across an alt on ebay and its pretty and i was wondering if you guys could take a look at it and let me know what you guys think because i just dont have the funds right now to buy a dc as much as i want too. Hi guys I was wondering if any of you have any tips for buying a H/O alternator? Currently I'm thinking of purchasing an Iraggi 260 amp dominator series alternator for my '03 Chevy Tahoe to power my 18" BL. The BL is being ran off of a kicker 1200.1 with kinetik hc 1400. Will the 260 amp H/O alt be enough for my BL?

This kid claimed to do 139.9db which I don't mind...he was running 2 12" MTX 5500 subs, with a kenwood amp. Next thing I noticed is that he had a sticker on his back glass that says "135db+ at the head rest". I was like why dont you meter it at the dash, he was like if I do that I will hit 145db, and when I do the db comp I dont burp because it would kill the competition. Thats what he told me.... Alright so I have my BTL in my ported box (tuning is messed up I have to redo it I think) and I am powering it with a 1200 watt hifonics with chit 4 guage. Waiting on installing my batts, big 3, and 2 ought. I was playing hz tests and I was like fudge it its moving some air, lets see if i can do a hair trick. So I had this girl put her hair in my window and I rolled it up a till there was about 3 inches left. I played a 40hz tone, I STILL dont know what my tuning is but this gets pretty loud, and it was moving her hair! i just ordered my 12'' Q w/ the Bp option. I have a hifonics bxi1208d and i was wondering if the sub is going to take more power now that i got the option. I mean the option was free so i thought why the heck not. Is it going to be underpowered? I know hifonics is overrated but i dont have the cash for sundown, audioque, ect. thanks for the help!!

Hey guys, could one of you update me on the situation with my claim with usps you filed for me? Its been I do not know how long exactly but I figured Scott would have heard something back from usps by now. I know they take forever, I went down to the office I shipped the motor from and asked how long claims take, the woman just handed me the paper to file a claim . Anyway, if you guys can't remember I am: Sean Burnette and I mailed a Konaki motor to Fi through ups which was lost, Scott filed the claim for me and said he would keep me informed or let me know whats up with it. ok..... so i have 2 15" Fi BTLs in a 2006 maxima.....AB 500.1 for power....my electrical system has a 200A Alt, 2 2400's and a 1400 kinetik under the hood... i recently put in an alpine 9887 and since then my output went WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy down. i readjusted the gains just now with a voltmeter, around 70V.....and it barely hits, ive got the setting on the HU MX 3...sub level 15 eq on the low bands +6 and it barely hits.... i checked the ohms with the DMM by turning off car and putting it on the speaker wire to amp....it showed .8-1....... really, my old setup with 2 12" mags + sundown 1500 hit harder then this. its like playing stock subs......any ideas what is wrong here?…

Hello everyone, im new to Fi and have decided to try out one of their drivers, however i need some help. I just recently ordered a 12 BL D2 w/ cooling on the 18th and went down to a local shop where im getting the box made eventually and showed the guy the BL's specs which i had written down so he could get an idea of what he would be building. He took a look at the driver's FS of 37.8hz and thought i was crazy for getting a sub with such a high FS...saying it would suffer in lower frequencies. So i starting thinking perhaps i should of got a Q instead of a BL. Ive got a Nine.1 @ 1200 rms to throw at it for Daily Driving...not SPL comp/burping, etc, just a street beater …

Hi guys, Im looking into adding a sub to my 2008 altima (with Bose) Im not looking for anything extreme in RMS liike when I had my RE HC a few years back in my older car. The sub I am looking at is either a 10 or 12' X. I have to admit im confused with the BP option. How much RMS does this add to the sub? The amp I was considering was a Diamond 300.2 that I can get at a very good price. Can someone also recommend a box for this sub? Preferably ported and if someone can let me know how this sub compares to something like a Diamond D3. I know its a lot of questions, but I do appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

I currently have two Kicker L7 10's vented running off of a KX 1200.1 in an Extended cab 2000 Silverado. I am loking to upgrade to something a little louder, so I recently did a cut through into the bed and am looking at putting a BL 18" back there. My question is would this one 18" be louder than my current setup? I plan on porting the box and running it off of the same amp. If anybody has a similar setup to the one I am looking at, if you have gotten it metered and could post the numbers that would be great. Thanks.

Hey everyone, I am going to build a box for 2 Fi Q 10's and I would like to know your opinion on the best bex cubic feet and design wise, to get the absolute best SQ, and should I have it sealed or vented? If vented, how should it be tuned for the best SQ. I want these 10's to have a really, Tight, Bass sound.
