Ok, my friend Want to get a 15" sub. He is think about doing either a BTL or BL he has the hifonics bxi 2008D that he got free from a friend. He wants to feel the bass should he do the BTL or BL? the BL will be getting more power than it need, but will the btl get louder even though it will be underpowered, considering how much more efficient the BTL is.

I'm looking at getting a 18" q or bl and im planning on putting a Kicker 08ZX1000.1 to it and getting a custom box built for it and will listen daily. I listen mainly to rap, i just love the loud bass you can really feel which one will give me that? I have a 2001 CRV so its an open trunk. And does anyone know the new line fi is coming out with?

I checked my invoice info a couple weeks ago on the Fi website i think. It told me the status of my order i cant remember too well but i cant seem to find it on the website. Does anyone know what i am talking about? Or links to where i can find this... Thanks for the help.

i have two fully loaded 18 btls and just ordered the 3500d from sundown wanted to see if u guys thought one would be enough or should i order another 3500???? any help would be great

Finally got my 2011 SSD and installed it today. It's making a loud "popping" noise when it plays. I thought it might be because it wasn't sealing against the box right, but after several hours and a bead of silicon around the mounting ring, the pop is still there in full force. Well it's time for a recone, beat the hell outta of my 15 d2 BL. Tensil leads snapped and burned up, oh well time to fix it lesson learned... I need some info on everything I need to order from Fi to get this done.. Like I said its a dual 2 ohm fully loaded..... I got mine back in February is mine a 2009 series? Can I recone it to a dual 1. Been Running a crenshendo 2250 @ 1 ohm...would I be better off going .5 if I can recone to dual 1?.. Thanks for all in put... I have a Hifonics 1505d amp and 8.8 CF of space to work with in my truck. Can i make a 18 work? If not whats the minimum i would need? The box is going to be down firing, as i measured it will be 4" off the floor. Lastly could i make a sealed box for these subs? Any pros/cons? Thank you.

I ordered a new fi bi 15 and a recone for a fi bl. And only my recone was shipped where is my fi bl 15

I currently have two 1ohm stable amps, soon to have my two dual 1ohm subs, I wanna strap my amps to have a final 1ohm load per amp, I understand that that when strapping final load is split in half, so when I wire it, would I wire each sub individually series/parallel so each sub is 2ohm? Just wanna make sure I got this right first time strapping So basically Step 1= series/parallel Step 2= + of each sub to + on master Step 3= - of each sub to + on slave Final ohm per amp 1ohm.........I think??

Was told on 11/28 order # I-17087/00 was scheduled to ship out 11/29. No replies to my emails asking for status updates. Please let me know whats going on....thats all Im asking for. hey guys this is a great and informative site!. I have a 2003 mercury Grand marquis stock everything when it comes to electrical, system wise i have 2 15" kicker cvr's in a sealed box powered by a 1400.1d autotek amp, and truth be told i want to upgrade my subs. I was looking at the FI selection but cant figure out wich one best suits me i mostly listen to hip-hop and was wondering wich Fi sub would be louder then the cvr's i was thinking maybe a 1 15" in a ported box or maybe 1 12"? I placed the order for my 15" BL on the 28th of last month and they accepted my money that night, on the 2nd of this month i received my ups tracking number however when i check it as i have been like every day multiple times it say billing information received. my order is supposed to be here on the 8th according to ups. how come i can't track it, and should i really expect it to be here on the 8th?

Well, just wrapped up a pretty decent showing at Slamology. Dbdrag in a trunk sucks but I did bring my strength in Bass Race to the lanes. I decided to run Street C for Dbdrag and ended up coming in 3rd with a 143.4db. For bass race, I took home 1st in the 129.9 class! I have yet to do a legit meter of me inside my car with my new alt for the SSNW class, but outside my car I snagged a 143.8, and I'll probably do a mid 144 when I sit inside it. Anyways, I made a flex vid with my phone of the low meter score, but ear damaging BTLs. Also, I have a Crescendo XST2s distance test off an Arc Audio FD2100.

Definately not talking bad but I know RE started out at very nice prices then jacked them to just retarded high pricing.... Now please don't take any disrespect scott. But are the FI's temp pricing or should they try to keep within relation to inflation of cost? So it appears I may have made my box a touch to large and now im concerned about my sub hitting the back of my seat. I originally intended to recess the sub .75inches in a 1.5 inch thick ring. Not being familiar with the metric system I wasn't aware until about a hour ago of how big 27 mm Xmax was. Unless im mistaken that means the subs cone will have a hair over 2 inches of travel from peak to peak before getting into distortion. My concern lies with forward movement. I figured for .75 inches of forward movement, to find out now after the box is being constructed by me ( out of fiberglass ), that I didn't figure right. SO, how accurate is the 27mm measurment? So i have an fi q 12 sealed at 1.2 cubes and it sounds like chit to me. It isnt musical at all and it makes a ton of mechanical noise. most of the time thats all i hear. I am running it off a hifonics 1606 amp with the gain turned half way up and the bass boost all the way down. I have a alpine 9883 HU with the sub at + 15 and bass -2. The sub is inverted and it is down firing in a hatchback. Any opinions as to why i it sounds so chitty to my ears. I mean my old system was 2 10w6v1s and it seemed like they were twice as loud off only 650 watts.

I'm kinda a noob when it comes to all the technical stuff about subwoofers, so I'm looking for some help. I have a 96 Lexus ES300 and I want to put in a 15" Fi BL. The trunk is huge, but I think one should be enough for me since I would just be using it for daily use. After looking around on these forums, I think I will try to get a Sundown SAE-1200D or a SAZ-1500D. Can someone please tell me exactly what else would be needed to run this setup?? (i.e. best enclosure, wiring??) - I listen to mainly rap as well as some rock. Thanks

I got a BL 15" and i only got the cooling option. can it handle 1500W from a sundown saz1500d? is that a good amp? or would you recommend something else with less/more power?
