Well this is my first post. This is a great forum I cant believe I havent discovered it till now. LOL. Well here is my story... I had a Kove Armageddon ZM 15" in a 2 cu FT enclosure in my F-150....well Since then I have moved on... unfortunately without a speaker system in my cars. I have a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 and I am planning on getting a 12" sub and setting it up in the floor of the hatch. (Ill be taking my spare out... Thats what AAA Platinum is for) Well here is my question. I want the sub to hit pretty hard but I prefer SQ over SPL. My idea is to build a sealed enclosure in the 1.2 cu Ft range for one 12" Fi Q w/ the BP option but the dilemma I have is that I have …

I have a friend thats pretty familiar with Fi and and most audio, he has told me that Fi is coming out with a 22" speaker in the future. I'm just wondering if thats a lie.

Just ordered a 12" FI Q and a US Amps Merlin MD2D. Was just wondering if anyone else is running this setup or have any thoughts on it? I will be running this in a 1.2 sealed. Thanks ahead of time and hope everyone has a very nice week.

So, this morning at around 7AM, i get into my car, turn up the volume, and no bass. The sub wasnt playing at all. the lights on the amp were on, but i drive for like 15 minutes, still nothing. after 7 hours after school, i go to drive home, and still nothing, about half way home, BOOM the bass kicks in, just as loud as normal, no abnormalities. what could have caused this? ive had the setup installed for a week or so. 1 15" FI BTL Hifonics bxi-2608D Alpine IDA X100 headunit i have NOT checked ALL connections yet, but what else could it have been, it hasn't happened again yet. I will get a lot more concerned once it happens again, but right now, im not too worried.

So I recently just ordered my two powermaster 925's 220amp alt and 0 gauge wiring kit. My question is how do I wire the new alt to the current bat I have now and from the one under the hood to the rear 2 Powermasters then into the amp? Reply's will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Dover

Not really rantin, but have been waiting 2 weeks to get my tax check. I was getting ready to order 2 BTL 15's today and i noticed the price WAS 898.00 the last time i checked, now it's 983 because of 85 dollars in shipping, so now i got to wait till wednesday to get back to the bank. When did fi quit offering free shipping? It had to have been within the past week?

ok im fixing to order in a few days so i was going to get some opinions on what i have come up with what im looking at... i have been kind of stuck between the btl and bl....but i've finally decided on the bl i will be going with two 12"" on the options im going with dual 1, cooling,flatwind,daily, as far as the universal i dont plan on needing to change the impedence..... going to giving them around 2500rms in a 6 cu ft enclosure before sub and port displacement @35hz how does this sound....

Concern: I really wanted fi bl15 subwoofer but.. Fi website seems half functional, and don't have a phone number for support or anything.. how can i feel safe by order it? and i emailed fi.. i never get email from them... so how can i trust them? cause i don't feel trusting them right now. hope hear from u fi guys! or else..

Ok, my friend Want to get a 15" sub. He is think about doing either a BTL or BL he has the hifonics bxi 2008D that he got free from a friend. He wants to feel the bass should he do the BTL or BL? the BL will be getting more power than it need, but will the btl get louder even though it will be underpowered, considering how much more efficient the BTL is.

Box is for a Fi BTL 18" it's going to be in a S-10 blazer I've noticed alot of the people on here use blazers and may have a design already. What I'm wanting is a box with the sub pointing up with the port facing the hatch. I can get deminsions if needed. Thanks, Dover.

Yesterday i received the amp wiring kit and the 10ft of power cable for the "Big 3". Today i received the 25 ft of speaker wire and the headunit. The sub and amp should be coming in shortly and then ill be installing it... so now i gotta decide quickly on my box ideas. I have decided to get a sealed box... i guess about 2.6 cu.ft. there is only one thing left to decide --- which way the sub faces and where to put the amp... in terms of sub direction/placement, i was thinking of doing something like like having the box in the trunk and when i open that armrest thing the sub will be facing towards the cabin....i was thinkn like when u opened the trunk itd be like sealed …

which i should get fi bl or btl ? i have 5 frad capicator and hifonic amp so it will ok running stock alt with btl for everyday bass not competition so hope hear everyone soon..

I know this has been gone over, but i was just wondering how a single 12" BTL ported at around 2.5 at 32hz...would stand up to two 12" RE se series sealed in 2.5...on an aq2200d. Could i expect any sound quality? any other things you need to know...just let me know. i also thought about inverting the BTL...any concerns or comments on that would also be helpful.

Hello, I am a daily driver moving on from my Kicker 15 L7 in a ported 3.5 ft box in my 94 s10 blazer powered by a 1000 watt hi fonics amp and wanting something that gets loud yet sound alot better than the L7. I've been thinking of a sealed 15 Q with a kicker zx 1000.1. sealed because i dont only listen to rap, but it really annoyed me when my ported box missed notes that my friends subs hit. i wanted to spend in the $300-350 tops for my sub(s). So, got the BTL all hooked up Running on a Hifonics BXI 2600D in a custom 3.3 cube box ported 33hz in a 2000 hyundai sonata And WOW WOW WOW One BEAST of a sub!!!! It keeps getting LOUDER and LOUDER!!!!!!! It moves EVERYTHING, Everyone is awestruck!!! My friend says that this ONE sub outdoes his 4 12"s by TWICE as much!! I have US Amp's MD.3D amp (2000 watts output), would it be necessary to add BP Power for this setup? Or will i be ok? Is there a differance in SQ or sound output without BP Power?

would this be a good subwoofer enclosure for 2 fi bl's??? is the port fine?>?? and should i close each subwoofer in its own box..with its own port???/
