Ordered my 18 BL with cooling. Now i have to save up and buy a saz1500d. and some batteries.

so i got my new btl 18 and i love it. I was not expecting it to have so much output but still keep its sound quality. Love it guys so keep doing what you do. So here is the box i built for it this last weekend. 7 cubes with disp tuned right round 34 htz. Most corners 45 with fiberglass with double baffle. The sub is ran off a Hifonics gx3000, and the set up is in a 1998 chevy astro... more 18s to come soon

Here my Review of the 18" BL. When i first seen the UPS guy drive up, i was very anxious. i actually ran up to the truck.It was Very funny to see the UPS Guys Struggle with the box. I Knew the box would be big, But this Box is very huge as you can see in the picture. MY first look i was like WTF? So i managed to get the box in my room i immediately Pulled out my knife to open the box. Once i opened the box i seen the Sub in the Plastic MY eyes GREW!!!! ive never seen an sub so big! even my mom was shocked. once i pulled the sub out the box i were even more amazed. the pictures on the website just doesnt give u any justice to how this sub really look in reality. it's way b…

Hi! thanks to the amazing forum i put together my first system and havnt looked back so far! for the first time today i had my car measured at the modified nationals in peterborough, UK i have a reasonably small system compared to many on here Consists of; a 15" Fi Q, Sundown 1000-d amp, knuconcepts wiring (4AWG), apline H/U the box is sealed built by me i hit 138.0 music Just trying to get some idea of what i could aim for or if this sound pretty decent Thanks pez p.s if you need to know anymore just let me know

This is out of pure curiosity. I just want to know what all the parts into these woofers are made of and i looked of on the site and found some things but im just seeing if theres any other specific details. I just want to know more about the internals than i do about the outside appearance. Simple question i suppose.

Ok i was building fiberglass console for my 12" BL to be run off saz-1500d. Now I havent even taken anything out of box or used any of it yet, and probably trading vehicles this weekend. Now I will be putting stuff in 97 expedtion. My sub is BL 12" with most options except spl and flatwind. I have plenty of room for whatever in this vehicle, so i will probably sale the 12" BL. If i wanted to run some 18" Q's, how would 1 saz1500d run both of them, or should I just get 2 BL 18s with 2 saz1500ds? If i didnt already have my amp, i would just buy 3000d. I have kinetik 1400 to go up front and 1 2000 kinetik now for the back. Let me know any other suggestions also. thanks

I was wondering if I ordered a BTL with the universal option and dual 1 ohm VC what will be the cost of having them changed to dual 2 ohm VC in the future. I'm having a tough time choosing what subs to use. I feel if I use the BTL's I will need massive power to be happy with them, but I currently don't have the funds for massive power only funds for a little power including battery and alternator. I also feel if I get BL's I will eventually want to upgrade to BTL's. Fi is making this a very hard decision. BTW, am I going to hate the BTL's sq? I listen to rap alot but also enjoy rock and plan on demo'ing with my truck for others. So being able to reproduce music of all ki…

Got around to building the box today for my BL15. Anywho on with the good stuff... Overall I'm really impressed with this thing. I like it alot. I will carpet it later I just wanted to get it in and start breaking it in. It wangs . --edit-- The 6" Aero is in the box as well. It's not sealed

I was reading the sticky "how long will it take to get my sub", and it was saying something about an e-mail i should have recieved from UPS. I ordered my Bl on sunday, so should i have recieved something? I did get an email from Fi giving me my invoice number in a confirmation email though.??

Hello All, I am looking a few amp reccomendations for my FI Q 12" preferably not over $500.00. I was origanaly thinking of going with one of the new soundstream 4channel amp and bridge 2 but i dont think it will be enough power so am looking for a few more reccomendtions to point me in the right direction... Hello there. I am looking for a subwoofer to compete in Swedeish serie of Bassrace this summer,I've been looking at the BL's and the BTL's and i am not realy sure what to go with. Because thay need to handle music both loud and ("Good" if you can say that about SPL woofers). The Amp i got at this moment is a Mutant 1500xxx,so i have abit over 1500wrms to play with. I have send mails to you guys at FI somehow i haven't got an replay yet so i'll take this in the forum insteed. Is it possible for me as a Swedish cusomer to buy subs directly from you? Hey Scott and/or Nick. So far you guys have been great regarding communication, but I sent in a 15'' BL with a cracked magnet (First in Fi History!) and I was told I would have a new one shipped out shortly. I was just curious on the status of that new sub? Thanks for your time. Weston

I have one ufo mag sytle btl right now that I am using, has the cooling and the high-xmax coil....I have had it since new and remember there being an option for the heat ring(pretty sure thats what it was called,) I got everything but that option...would a btl with the heat ring be ok to throw in with mine that does not have that? Thanks

Im looking to get an Fi Q 15in at 2 ohm dual hooked up to a hifonics brutus 1200 watt i have a couple of questions... would it sound better ported or sealed. and does Bp power add more power?

Here is the system: Basic Kenwood deck (for now) feeding a US AMPS 6000. US AMPS 6000 feeding one BTL 15. For now, two runs of 0 gauge running back off a 250-300 amp alt feeding three Stinger 1700s. We want to do street beat under USACI rules which is pound the crap out of it for 30 seconds. The amp will not be ran at full tilt just so you guys know. I was wondering what kinda box you guys might recommend and should we get the fully loaded BTL or are there a few things we don't need. Hi I just got my 12" BL and I'm starting the box for it. The box will be about 2.6 ft^3 and tuned to 33Hz I was just wondering if a 3" port would work or if i should use a 4" port. I'd like to know if there is any difference in SQ or output with a different diameter port.

hi i have a quick question, the btl line dont have extreme leads like the bls??? I AM A be getting a fully loaded btl.

I plan on purchasing 2 12" Fi BTL's and I plan on having 2 Rockford T2500.1bd amps pushing each 12. Is that too much power for these subs. They are going to be daily subs and keep in mind that i will not be pushing them to the limits too see what they can handle...but I recieved a good deal on both. PLEASE HELP FELLOW BASSHEADS!!!
