I need grilles for my 2 10" SSD's. Not the metra universal mesh ones please. I dont like the look of thoes. Does anyone know of any that I can use? I am not sure that grilles from Kicker, Fosgate, Polk, etc will clear the excursion of the Fi's. Please help if you can. I need them for protection more so than looks, with the exception of that horrible mesh, anything will do. Thanks in advance

I've been researching car audio for awhile but just now became a member here but so far this is what i have in mind for my system.... - Fi 15" Q sealed in a custom box (dont know size yet.. 2.6?) $274 - Sundown SAE-1200D $310 - Alpine CDA-9886 $299 Then i need wires for my amp and my sub... i was thinking of getting THIS for my amp and then use THIS for my subwoofer? Does that work or should i do something else? Also i would need to buy some extra 0 Gauge wire to do the Big 3.... Anything else??? Thanx in advance, Alex

Im ordering a 15" BL. what would be the best enclosure? my maximum dimensions are length = 24" depth = 19" height = basically anything but a ridiculous size. i was thinking maybe 18" but it can go way high obviously. is it best to max the dimensions out or stay within the 2.8 - 4.0 cubic foot range? and for my port it says 12-16 square inches per cubic feet. again, should i stay between there or would it be better if i go bigger? bigger is always better right? haha. HELP!

Hi, im jay, i was wondering about the SSD15, I noticed it is 800W RMS if i wired it @ dual 2 ohm to make it 4, AND put it on a [XLS crown802] which would give it 800W@4ohm perchannel, and 2100@4 bridged, Do you think it could power it? and if so how about 2 of em from the bridged? thank you and please respond respnd back if possible! Also what would i need to tune it to to listen to NUTTIN but low, around 28-32herts? thx! -jay

Hello there. I am looking for a subwoofer to compete in Swedeish serie of Bassrace this summer,I've been looking at the BL's and the BTL's and i am not realy sure what to go with. Because thay need to handle music both loud and ("Good" if you can say that about SPL woofers). The Amp i got at this moment is a Mutant 1500xxx,so i have abit over 1500wrms to play with. I have send mails to you guys at FI somehow i haven't got an replay yet so i'll take this in the forum insteed. Is it possible for me as a Swedish cusomer to buy subs directly from you? Have a nice day // Confused guy from sweden.

Car: 1997 Nissan Maxima *No Bose Audio Package Trunk Dimensions: Width: 40 inches Depth: 28 inches Height: 16 Inches (Here are some pictures) http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g149/Ore...k14/H011305.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g149/Ore...eak14/H0113.jpg My goals: I just want to have a loud sound system, so I pretty much want to max out my maxima for a budget of $2500, this includes the subs, amps, comp speakers, deck, raammat, wiring, batteries, and alternator(s). Pretty much, I just want to get loud, and possibly enter in SPL competitions. I also like showing off to, and making my system be heard from many blocks away. My possible setups, let me know which is …

It's been a few months since Scott posted about the 10" spiders. Are they here yet? I have a 12" Eclipse basket with a variation of the TC9 motor and a pair of 15" Lightning Audio/TC-3000 baskets with 3HP neo motors that need recone kits. Also, since these are not the standard baskets that Fi uses, will I have to send in the subs for the recones or can a kit be built? -Robert

I ordered the 18" BTL on december 30th. I've been reading that they don't get like the motors in or some stuff till next monday? Thats fine with me, cuz I got a lotta work to do on my car. I have 3 batteries, one to replace under the hood. No alternator yet, but I'm doing the big three. Sub up, port back no speaker upgrades yet and headunit soon, but probably after an alternator does that sound decent for now? I'm going to start taking out my third row, and I'm paying 10$ for box specs from a kid named aznboi on an explorerforum.
