Greetings all, I'm in need of a single new 12" sub for use with my current amplifier and sealed box (daily driver), and was wondering if any of the Fi products would work nicely. Amp: Phoenix Gold ZX500 (rated at 600RMS bridged, 4-ohm load) PG websites states the amp may be underrated by 5 to 15% - so maybe closer to 700RMS? Box: Audioformz monoGlass12 sealed fiberglass at .95 ft^3 Other: Factory electrical system, with the addition of a useless 1-farad stiffening cap. Enclosure located in trunk of a small sedan, facing rear corner. Partially open rear deck. Interested in either the Fi Q or Fi SSD 12" in dual 2-ohm configuration, but not really sure if any of the option…

the box i have is 38 x 16.25 x 22 the port is 4.25 wide. i was thinking of getting two fi BL 12's. i currently have two alpine type r 12's. do you think this box will be big enough for the lack of space i have.

I spoke with a delivery driver with UPS today. He told me that internet sales have increased by one billion dollars in the last couple weeks. He also told me that due to the increase of shipments from online purchases to expect shipping delays. In some neighborhoods you may see drivers delivering packages on golf carts. Everyone buying their christmas gifts early offline has increased shipments being handled substantially. Now you may get your items on time with no delay, but to expect them anyway because most shipments will be late due to the increase of volume in shipments. Now it will take even longer to get my fantastic Fi subwoofers I cant wait for them to get here…

Screwdriver slipped and I poked a medium sized hole in the rubber surrond. I have it plugged up with silicone right now, but I was wondering how much it would cost to fix if I shipped it back to you guys. It's a 12" SSD. Thanks.

Okay everyone I am going to order later this week and I need to make sure I am doing everything right. This is my first system. I mostly listen to rap but I like rock too. Its going in a '97 tercel. I'm going to get the dual 2ohm ssd 15", and I'm gonna have it running at 1000wattsRMS@1ohm off of a Hifonics Txi1008D. Which should I get the flatwind or copper coil? I'll be running 8GA. And the box I'm going for is 3.6cuft after port and displacement. Port is tuned @ 33hz. I have 40 inches of square port. Its 34"W/17.5"H/16"D And just to make sure I did a picture on paint, here ya go. Am I ready to order?

Ok i was building fiberglass console for my 12" BL to be run off saz-1500d. Now I havent even taken anything out of box or used any of it yet, and probably trading vehicles this weekend. Now I will be putting stuff in 97 expedtion. My sub is BL 12" with most options except spl and flatwind. I have plenty of room for whatever in this vehicle, so i will probably sale the 12" BL. If i wanted to run some 18" Q's, how would 1 saz1500d run both of them, or should I just get 2 BL 18s with 2 saz1500ds? If i didnt already have my amp, i would just buy 3000d. I have kinetik 1400 to go up front and 1 2000 kinetik now for the back. Let me know any other suggestions also. thanks

I am looking at getting 2 Fi ssd 12's. i currently have an audiopipe amp that pushes 1500 rms @ 1 ohm. would this amp work for my new subs? and if so should i get the dual 1 ohm or the dual 2 ohm?

Does anyone know if fi gives discounts on bulk order I need 6 more 18 bls to finish my build and im on a budget right like whos not. Subs are just 1/5 of my cost and tax time Here so I figure they are pretty busy since I havent recieve an email back from them.

Ok, Im no expert but this is the first time seeing this piece in any subwoofer. I have an Fi Q 12 (2010 Version). I took my box out today for some room for a road trip and i come upon this piece inside the subwoofer box. I have the Pics link here. Its round about 1" in diameter. this will be my first time buying fi products. i have a 2004 gmc denali that i want to fill. im pretty much asking what would you choose between the 2? they will be seeing the same amount of power 3000 rms per btl or 1500 per bl plus whatever more my saz-3000 will put out. and yes i do have plenty of electrical to handle these i know the 8 bl's would have alot more cone area but would it be noticeable? what would you choose? any input is appreciated

So i just recently bought 2 15in BL Dual 2 subs with the cooling package and i have 2 questions... 1) Now im usually pretty good with this buuuuuuut I'm guessing that Dual 2 means that i can only wire the subs at either 2 ohms or 4 ohms... 2) If I can only wire it down to 2 ohms what amp should i use? ive been looking and looking and the only amp that i could really find to push em was the Power Acoustiks 5500 BAMF series amp that puts out 2500w rms at 2ohms Any answers/ suggestions would be nice... Hi I just got my 12" BL and I'm starting the box for it. The box will be about 2.6 ft^3 and tuned to 33Hz I was just wondering if a 3" port would work or if i should use a 4" port. I'd like to know if there is any difference in SQ or output with a different diameter port.

Whats up everyone i just received my 2 US amps (md-3d) 2000rms @ 1 ohm i am goin to be running 1 amp per sub 18" fi btl fully loaded just waiting for the subs to get in so i can build my box...cant wait to see these monster subs hopefully they are shipping out soon...........

Hello, im making a box for my 15" Fi BL its gonna be 36 x 18 x 18 4.7 ft3 @ 30.5hrz daily driver just looking for some ground shaking fun : ) will this be a good box for that woofer?

I could not wait longer till my other subs sold... So I just sucked it up and purchased the BL. Can't wait guys!

I was originally looking at getting a SSD 18, but it seems like a lot of people have SSD 12s instead of the 18s. Is the 12 better or something ? I would assume that the 18 would get louder, and that is what im going for. Im not really entirely sound quality. I was also wondering if anyone had any good box specifications for a SSD 18.

Which is better? what are the good and bad points of each? can one handle more power? does one sound better? whats the deal? lol

So i understand that it takes 3-7 days to build the subs and such, its been around 10 days, so i figured id try to check on UPS tracking. To see where my Sub was via shipping. I looked at my pay pal confirmation and it gave me a tracking I.D. is that the tracking number? because every time i use that number it says that its invalid. Also what shipping company or method does Fi use? I live in south Florida, so it shouldn't take long to receive my order right? Thanks Please, any info appreciated
