Off the top I want to go ahead and thank anyone for any help they give since I am a new guy on here. I want to get some opinions from some people familiar with Fi before I change my current setup in my car which is a 2000 Toyota Solara. I am currently running two Soundstream T4 Tarantulas in a 4.5cu. box powered off of a US Amps MD2D (2004 model). I have an optima yellow top up front with an extra batery in back along with the Big3 and 0/1 gauge for power. Also have a seperate eq w/ 8 volt pre outs. The last time i metered it was at 141db. (42hz peak) I am planning on running 1 BTL 15" powered off 2 US Amps MD2Ds in a 4- 4.5 cu box tuned 30-32hz. I will also add another O…

I am in pretty desperate need of help...I tried to design a box and I keep getting lost. I am working with about 18" in height, 48" in width, and roughly 20-25" of depth. I would like to do 2 15" BLs tuned to around 34 Hz or so. Can someone please help me out. Thanks.

I am curious what some of you are getting in a sealed setup with you Q's...my wife is kinda wanting a fairly loud setup (loud in the sense of volume, not db output)...I guess the term would be considered LSQ. Well, she wants to know what kind of numbers your subs are putting up in a sealed setup. Thank You

my friend gave me a box that had his 2 15" RF T2's in it. I am pretty sure it is 3.2 cubes after displacement and tuned to 38hz or so. Would it be okay to put some Fi BLs into this box or no? Tryin to save a little money and want good output. Or should I just throw 2 more T2's into that box and use it?

just wanted to say thanks again to scott and FI for there awesome customer services. last year i blew 2 btl's 18's 2 weeks before NSPL finals, call fi and ordered 2 recones and i got them less than 10 days.made the finals and won.i blew the subs from bad rca's. so it was not there fault but mines.awsome subs.they play like a timex.they take a beating and keep on ticking. now i went to a show2 weeks ago and opps rca pull out so i blew 2 subs again.again my fault.same subs too.the other subs are still strong. well with only 2 of 4 subs i still did over a 162 db'.so i was ok,but now i need subs for the NSPL finals and no cash. after i came up with some cash i called scott a…

Hey everyone, I am going to build a box for 2 Fi Q 10's and I would like to know your opinion on the best bex cubic feet and design wise, to get the absolute best SQ, and should I have it sealed or vented? If vented, how should it be tuned for the best SQ. I want these 10's to have a really, Tight, Bass sound.

Hey all, wanted to say thanks for anyone who's helped me out in the past few months. I sold my Xplods and ordered 2 Fi Q 15's moments ago. I'm going to be building a 7cuft ported box tuned to 32Hz and I'm ordering the wiring and amplifier within the next few weeks. So excited I can hardly stand it Meanwhile I am bassless but I think it is worth the wait!

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with dimensions of Front to Back - 36" Left to Right - 45*1/2" Height - 19" I currently am running 6 13w1v2's off of 2 Kicker ZX1500.1 and I am looking to get to 15" and narrowed my options to the 15" BL's. I am wondering what size box I should get and what I should have it tuned too. My box now is the exact dimensions that I've given above. I plan on putting 1 Kicker ZX1500.1 to each of the 15". I like the real low bass as in Young Jeezy, Gorilla Zoe, Lil John...etc but I wanna make sure that my highs are also good. Any idea on what I should get the box tuned too? Are the BL's a good replacement for the 6 that I have in there now? Any i…

I have looked up several different options to go with next, right now i have 1 bl 12" with 1 saz1500d. I am used to having just jl, kicker, or rockford stuff, so all this fi and sundown stuff is hard to make a decision. I dont want to have to run another 1500d really, can if really needed. How would 1 1500d run to ssd 18"s, ok, decent?

I'm a competitor in MECA at my state finals I managed to reach 154.4 at the headrest using two 15 in btls and using 2 American bass 500.1s. I can only give high praises to the newer style BTLs It took a little tweeking to get them there but with any new setup it takes work to get it loud. After about 75 burps I have on the subs with about 7500 watts to the pair these subs are still like new no signs of wear

These are my measurements now... 15hx33dx36w I was wondering if it is possible to fit the 18" Bl tuned to around 32hz in my trunk. and what would be the best setup, sub firing into cabin, port back?? Need ideas for the enclosure. I am going to run it on a saz-1500d. I did at one time have a L7 in a 6.0^3 box. It fit just fine. any help is apreciated! i put the new measurements up, i went out there and measure it out, width between strut towers. height was at the trunk tensioners and depth was just depth... keep in mind i have the trunk lid hinges to clear......

i didnt know that Fi and Ascendant Audio were even related comapnies... what are the differences in the drivers you designed for each company and why both?? also which came first? i find it very interesting that i just now found this out, when ever since i got big into car audio, Fi has been my favorite company by far.

Here's the deal. I live in a small eastern Montana town where the most exotic subs you see are the one or two people with a few Eclipses. Everyone here is running either Pioneer or Kicker (with almost no exception). I will give you a small rundown of what I have used most recently (and currently), along with what I am trying to achieve. My favorite setup I have ran recently was a pair of 12" Cerwin Vega "Vega Series" in a large prefab ported box powered by a Rockford 250a2. It hit hard and I got it for pennies. The current setup I am running is just a simple pair of the very low end Pioneers powered by an older Mobile Authority 400w in a large sealed box, in my 96 Talon I…
