I'm a competitor in MECA at my state finals I managed to reach 154.4 at the headrest using two 15 in btls and using 2 American bass 500.1s. I can only give high praises to the newer style BTLs It took a little tweeking to get them there but with any new setup it takes work to get it loud. After about 75 burps I have on the subs with about 7500 watts to the pair these subs are still like new no signs of wear

Is a T1500-1bd Enough for a BTL 18"?

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with dimensions of Front to Back - 36" Left to Right - 45*1/2" Height - 19" I currently am running 6 13w1v2's off of 2 Kicker ZX1500.1 and I am looking to get to 15" and narrowed my options to the 15" BL's. I am wondering what size box I should get and what I should have it tuned too. My box now is the exact dimensions that I've given above. I plan on putting 1 Kicker ZX1500.1 to each of the 15". I like the real low bass as in Young Jeezy, Gorilla Zoe, Lil John...etc but I wanna make sure that my highs are also good. Any idea on what I should get the box tuned too? Are the BL's a good replacement for the 6 that I have in there now? Any i…

my friend gave me a box that had his 2 15" RF T2's in it. I am pretty sure it is 3.2 cubes after displacement and tuned to 38hz or so. Would it be okay to put some Fi BLs into this box or no? Tryin to save a little money and want good output. Or should I just throw 2 more T2's into that box and use it?

i have the last generation BTL (15inch). and i am thinking about buying a second 15inch btl. will it be a problem if i have the new btl, and the old one in the same box?

I don't know if anybody can tell me if 2 18s will fit in my car, but i drive a Montero LS and my max dimensions are 23h x 35w x 40d. Will that be able to fit 2 18s ported or 2 15s ported

Here's the deal. I live in a small eastern Montana town where the most exotic subs you see are the one or two people with a few Eclipses. Everyone here is running either Pioneer or Kicker (with almost no exception). I will give you a small rundown of what I have used most recently (and currently), along with what I am trying to achieve. These are my measurements now... 15hx33dx36w I was wondering if it is possible to fit the 18" Bl tuned to around 32hz in my trunk. and what would be the best setup, sub firing into cabin, port back?? Need ideas for the enclosure. I am going to run it on a saz-1500d. I did at one time have a L7 in a 6.0^3 box. i didnt know that Fi and Ascendant Audio were even related comapnies... what are the differences in the drivers you designed for each company and why both?? also which came first? i find it very interesting that i just now found this out, when ever since i got big into car audio, Fi has been my favorite company by far.

Ok, i will probably be running 2 bls off of a sundown 3k. Not sure if i wanna do 2 15's and keep them straight upright firing through my blowthrough or have 2 18's slightly angled firing through it. What i am curious about, is there really an audible difference between the size of these two woofers if they are running the same power. I know the 18's will probably score higher in comps, but i doubt i will ever compete, so no point in getting less than a db more and losing that much more of the bed of my truck.

well as soon as i found out that the website was updated i checked it out and found they had shirts. Ok guys, I was browsing steve meades forum and came across someones system on the system of the month, february 2008. It has 2 18's in a blowthrough, but in order to fit the 2 18's they are slightly angled as well as the port (or at least the port looks like it), does this have any effect on the output or cause some other negative effect? I can't get a stright answer. I am tried of getting different stories every time regarding replacing my RE subs. I was told by David, formerly at RE audio, that in June all productions of US assembled products stopped and that the factory shut down. All, Re audio products are now made in China and even sub assembly of SX and MT in the USA has stopped. I have been tiring to see what is going on with my subs. Alright so, I got t-boned a week ago and got 3300 from insurance, when the damages where 500$ worth but, to my question I have a 15 L7 and amp lying around from my old system, which was 2 solo's and 2 amps and I was wondering, is there anyway I could build a box to where I could have my solo and BTL 18" and they both benefit off each other without drowning each other out?
