I know you guys do not check the forums very often, but I've sent a few emails and I know that you guys are super busy, so I just wanted to ask here of the off chance on of you checks it. I sent in my AA Havoc 15 to get repaired and got it back good as new (excellent service btw). But I was wondering if you could tell me exactly what went wrong with it, as we were never able to figure it out. Not just "mech issue" or "thermal issue," I am wondering what actually went wrong so I can make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks for the great service and sub guys! PS-srry for posting in here and the AA forum. not trying to be rude. Just trying to get this mystery answered!

And still haven't received it back. I have e-mailed several times over the past few months and not gotten any response. it was a 15" Kicker L7..I contacted Fi and they said they could take try and take care of it. Well they took care of it, but said they had a problem finding an old style dust cap for it. I understood it may not be the exact same before I sent it off. Well I just want an update on the sub and what not. my e-mail is [email protected] I sent it to Vegas if that helps any.

Screwdriver slipped and I poked a medium sized hole in the rubber surrond. I have it plugged up with silicone right now, but I was wondering how much it would cost to fix if I shipped it back to you guys. It's a 12" SSD. Thanks.

I just caught wind that there is an IB specific line coming out. Will there be a 10" version available? Got any x-max or power handling numbers yet? I would just love to do three 10's IB so I could regain the use of my trunk. Thanks for any info.

I have a 2008 honda Civic EX-L with premium sound upgrade and it has a IB setup with an 8" woofer and it needs some help. Now I know Fi has done IB 18 &15 but can yall build be a very efficeint IB 8"? to replace my current stock 8"? thanks P.S. What would you all recommend for my low pass filter setting for a 12" SSD w/ CC in a sealed 1.5 cubic box. Yes I know it's a big box but I usually prefer the sound of bigger sealed boxes. Also is there a method for checking that the crossover setting you see on an amp is the actual one that is being output by the amp? I thought using the DMM method and seeing the voltage would work but it didn't tell me anything. I played a 50hz tone and moved the LPF around and all my measurements did was the increase in voltage as I lowered the frequency and vice versa. I thought when I hit 50hz on the dial and below that it would flatline in voltage, but it kept increasing as I l…

I am seriously considering ordering 2 12" BL's but when I click on the BL link on the page, nothing appears. Is anybody else getting this? Also I know this has been discussed before but I am still debating between 2 Fi BL's or 2 AA Havocs. Im going to be running them off the Sundown 1500d. Do you think its enough power and which would you guys perfer ? I am looking for something with good SQ and also that deep HARD hitting lower bass. Any response would be great. The cosmetics aren't quite done yet but I got the sub running and with what little (in comparison) power it's getting from that old Opti 50C off stock electrical I'm more than happy with it. Once upgrades are done and the 3000d is here, it will REALLY bang! I just got my BTL 18 today, it is now installed and even off that old opti 50c, it's louder than hell. It is louder than I thought it would be. The back wall of my cab below the window flexes 1/4 inch, and the slider window is going to break (possibly today). This is one outstanding product. Even if my window does break, I will be satisfied to the top. Thanks Scott and Shawn for assisting me and I definitely look forward to doing business again and promoting the product! Recently bought a 15" bl and a fosgate 1000bd and am getting the big 3 done on thursday. Is one battery enough if its a yellow top?? Or should I just keep my regular battery and add a second cell in back. I would rather just have the one but not if its not gonna be good enough... Please help

Hello all, Just wanted to take the time to thank everyone here for indirectly helping me choose my sub. I say indirectly because I haven't posted any questions, rather just took some time to look at everyone elses threads to find a listening style similar to mine. I ordered a 12" Q dual2 last wednesday and I got an e-mail saying that it will ship today.....can't wait! I already built a sealed box for it at around 1.3 cu.ft. I'll see how that sounds at first but have plenty of MDF left over if the need for a new enclosure arises. I will be powering it with a RF T5001bd. Well, i bought the BL 12" about month ago and right when i was building box for it, i traded vehicles. I thought when I got this expedition I was going to want something alot bigger than just 1 12". So, I got a box designed for 2 BL 15's and had decided thats what i was going to do. But, I already had the 12" and a sundown 1500d, so I went ahead and threw together a box, and my wife has been wanting to fiberglass, so she finished it saturday night and I got it put in last night. Now, after playing it all day, I am amazed how good this 1 12" sounds. I still have stock electrical for now, as I thought i would upgrade it when i got 2 15's. But now, I am pretty set on keeping…

Just wanted to let anyone who is on the fence about Fi and another brand, go with Fi. I got my two 15inch SSD's installed today and truely could not be happier with the sound/performance. Thanks to everybody at Fi for making an amazing product.

Hey guys, need s'more help once again . I got a price quote from somebody online about having a box built for 2 Fi Q 15's... I told him the dims I had to work with (40" deep, 19" high, 48" wide) and the tuning freq (32Hz) and he came out with the rest. Is this a good setup? 30" deep x 19" high x 28" wide 6.1 cu ft tuned to 32 hz w/88 sq in of port. Thanks

Hey all. I'm upgrading my low-end from 2 12" Xplods and I've settled on 2 15" Fi Qs, with BP Power, pushed by an AQ2200D amp. I'm looking at putting them in a ported box, but I realize this box is going to be quite large (my trunk dims are 40" deep, 19" high, 48" wide). Fi recommends 2.8-4cuft so the box would need to be 6-8cuft right? I'm thinking about tuning it at 32Hz, from what I've heard from a lot of people with these subs. I listen to hip/hop and rap mostly, and I love songs that get low (like Gorilla Zoe or Young Jeezy songs for example). Is this a good tuning freq? I don't want to completely lose some of the "higher" bass notes but I want an extremely solid low…

Hit-up (2) shows this weekend and finally got myBTL 18 metered. Qualified with a 147.4 and hit a 147.7 in the finals. The sub is pushed by a Colossus II in my 99 Explorer Sport. Eletrical is stock for now. Qualifying round...didn't get the pic of the 147.7during the Finals (I have the certificate though ) Getting ready... 170DBs...

Ok so im getting one 15 BL with a sundown saz-1500 should i get dual1 or 2 i want to run the amp at 1 ohms

I currently have 1 08 ZX750.1 kicker mono amp(2ohm stable) and 1 12"L7 kicker DVC 4ohm. I was looking into getting somthing better than the L7 that i have.i want to upgrade my SQ and SPL. I want a LOUD sub!!! What do you guys recommend along with the enclosure specs
