I just went to order my subs and last time i knew shipping was included in the price and as i went to check out my price went from $1,216 to $1300+. now that just makes me want to spend my money else where because i had 1,250$ to spend not 1,300+

I have a 3500d series DD motor, that needs a recone, the basket originally was a 4 spoke 15, but was damaged and tossed, i still have the black plastic spacer but only one of the screws to connect the basket. so possibilities of turning it in to an 18? and cost? 3 inch coil, int. leads, extra spider, new basket and screws.

My friend has two Alpine Type R's. After hearing me mention the fact that Fi makes recone kits for a coupla companies, he asked me to find out if you guys could recone his Type R's. -Thanks -Chris

I must say Nick is the man. I contacted him with a few questions about my order December 12th and not only did he adjust the order my 3 SP4 15's arrived 14 days(not working days) but 14 days later. That's only 7 working days because I am sure they took Christmas off. That's fast customer service and the reason why I stick with this company. Just wanted to thank Nick again. This will be my first time running 15's.

Would i need to get the dual 1's or dual 2's to get a 1ohm load out of the amp and also how would i wire them to get the 1 ohm load http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_c...sp?Q=2&I=42 is that the right wiring even though it says its for 4 ohms? EDIT: if i were to get TWO of them

just want to share with all .i did a 163.4 with 4 btl 18's with no testing of this setup or finding my freq.16 poweracoustik a3000db amp and some 5 year old batts(24).i'm very happy with the subs,took the 6ooo watts with a breeze.all i can say best sub for the money and great cust.services too.thanks scott and shawn.u too nick.it was a while back when u helped me with some things.

will there be a new cone design for the Q line or any line? Maybe something that looks like the new AA Havocs. Make it an all black cone with the with the Fi logo painted on the bottom of the cone in flat black. Something like the havocs or the w7's. And since the subs are made to order, you could do any color that the buyer wants to have on it. Sound good to anyone???

I got my first BTL 18 about 5 months ago, fully loaded dual 2 ohm version. It was the fist 18 I'd purchased or even heard in person, so I was a bit skeptical because of the mixed things people say about larger drivers as far as quality go. The last two setups I had owned were a kicker L7 15 in 5cubes tuned around 32hz, and and alpine type-x 12 in 1.1cube tuned around 32hz. I had been trying to find a very loud woofer that still sounded half decent, and while the alpine sounded nice, and the kicker got loud, neither did both very well. hey guys! i would appreciate some imput from everyone here k so, right now i got 2 12" MTX Jackhammers with a sony xplod amp.. It pounds pretty hard but i've been doing some research, and im set on getting a FI 15" sub and a Hifonics amp.. But I've got a few questions - Is that $90 difference that i would be spending for the BL be worth it over the 15" SSD? (BL with Hyper Pole and Flatwind) (SSD with copper coil and BP Power) - Im looking at just a one sub setup, so do i order Dual 1 or Dual 2 ? the amp at 1 Ohm puts out 1200RMS and 2 Ohms is 900RMS would i hear a big difference in the BL over the SSD. What is the biggest difference between the 12 inch SSD and the 12 inch Q other than the 200 watts of more power?

how much does the bp power option raise the rms on a 12" ssd?? would one need this option running 2 off a rf t10001bd 1633rms @ 1 ohm? what coil would be the best-regular, copper, or flat wind? daily driver (possibly a comp here n there for somethin to do but rarely), in trunk of an 00 impala, 2.5 cubes each tuned to around 38hz, i listen to most all music, lots of rap turned up loud, cuz its loud n low.

hey guys, i currently got a Fi 15" BL with an aq1200d, in a 3.3 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz, it is a crappy box made out of 0.50 mdf because i just wanted the system in lol. I know this sub can get much much louder. How does a box just under 4 cubes (3.78) tuned to 35hz sound to you guys ? also with gains down could this sub eventually maintain an aq2200d ? I would have gains set so its pushing about 1500rms thnx guys !!

I have a '96 Nissan XE (extended cab) truck. I'm wondering if I can get the right air space for 4 BTL 15's with a hard tonneau cover or will I have to get a camper shell. Also, anyone know pricing and wattage on 15" BTL Loaded and BL Loaded? I'm wanting something I can use for daily and SPL comps. Are these good speakers to be used for both?

I have 2500 watts rms easily disposable at 1 ohm. I dont want anything bigger then 3cuft net for a box, 2 BL 10"s or 1 btl 12", whats the sq like? I have owned (2) 10w3v2s, 1 dd 3515, 4 dd 1508s,1 dd 9512, (1) 12w7, heard kicker didnt like it and heard other subs, I wana know what a bl and btl sound like Im temped to buy this setup. I know the btl 12 will handle 2500 watts but dunno about 10's and i heard the 10 btls are horrible for daily. Little more info this set up is.... trunk rear fire/ported in a jetta price not the problem I want LSQ... not farts not sq with no backing.... So comments?

Okay I am planning on getting a new substage setup in the summer because right now im just a poor college student lol. Anyways I have had a fi btl 12 before and loved it but now I know I want an 18 for sure and I have contacted argent audio and an 18 will fit with aero ports so my question is should I get another btl or the Q. I loved my old btl but honestly sometimes it was just to loud and I have heard great things about tthe Q. I have never heard a sound quility sub in car auido before though. Alright Ive heard nothing but good things about you guys, and going to start saving up for my system and plan it out now. I have a 1993 camaro. Now my biggest dilema is my trunk, they are fudgeed in camaros.. I want a system with a little of box SPL and LOUD SOUND QUALITY... I want it to hit pretty damn hard and hit lows...but I also want decent sound quality. My choice right now is either between 2 12 BLS or Q's... Now if I can find anyone to build me a box or give me a design with dimensions for a camaro trunk ill go ported. I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with dimensions of Front to Back - 36" Left to Right - 45*1/2" Height - 19" I currently am running 6 13w1v2's off of 2 Kicker ZX1500.1 and I am looking to get to 15" and narrowed my options to the 15" BL's. I am wondering what size box I should get and what I should have it tuned too. My box now is the exact dimensions that I've given above. I plan on putting 1 Kicker ZX1500.1 to each of the 15". I like the real low bass as in Young Jeezy, Gorilla Zoe, Lil John...etc but I wanna make sure that my highs are also good. Any idea on what I should get the box tuned too?
