right now, my set-up is what i got in my sig... i was thinking about getting another ssd. i was lookin for reasonable priced amps that could power two ssd 12"s. i was looking at the SPL DK-3400D and the SPL FX1-5500D. It says their THD at Rated RMS Power 0.50%... I read that good amps have <.1% THD... Is .4% difference that much? And I know that the rms wattage is a little different but these two amps are fairly close in price, why is that?

I didn't know where to post this, but since I would be pairing it with a BTL, I posted it here but okay. I am still deciding on an amp. I was looking at a PA Bamf 5500d but I heard it really only will put out about 1500 watts at one ohm. So if thats true my better choices are the AQ2200d, and the Rockford Fosgate t2000 I notice everywhere that the RF runs for about 600-800$. At this fleamarket called Gibralter up here in Michigan, one of the guy says he'll sell it to me for 450$ So 280-300$ for the PA, 389$ for the AQ2200d, and supposedly 450$ for the RF 2000 What do you all think would be the best choice?

ok so i ordered my sub right around valintines day an it took over a month to get here an i finally got time to build a box this week end an hook it up! it never seen power till to day an i thought my amp was fried at first i couldnt get any sound or movement out of it at all.. so i hooked it up to a friends amp an it barely played so we put it back in my car on my amp. when we did that it finally started to play on my amp.. but it barely moves an you cant even here it hardly unless you get close to the sub. i tryed rewiring it a couple different times an it still just doesnt play hardly.. what is wrong with it? i know it aint the amp because i hooked my tens up an they …

For people that have purchased products from Fi, particularly there Q 18 D1 with the BP option, how long did it take from purchase to receive your subwoofer. I know Fi is a good company and greatly approve of there products but I am getting fed up! I bought 1 Q 18 w/ the BP option on the 22nd of last month. hi ! i would like to know wich FI sub would match the better with my amp to get the most out of it... ? I just bought a 02' lincoln LS and would like 2 Fi subs and new amp and im looking to spend around 800. Im looking for a LOUDDDD set up with somewhat good sound quality. any advice?

I have a 2008 honda Civic EX-L with premium sound upgrade and it has a IB setup with an 8" woofer and it needs some help. Now I know Fi has done IB 18 &15 but can yall build be a very efficeint IB 8"? to replace my current stock 8"? thanks P.S. hey just recently got my btl 12 (quite the beast lol) and everything was all good until i got this dude to build my box...he "supposedly" contacted fi and got the box layout for my car which is a 92 camaro but i have my doubts...so its hooked up and the car shakes a lil bit but i can barely hear any bass...not sure if that makes sense but its kinda like its free airing even though its in the box...another thing is when i turned my amp up (aq2200) it made a like tapping noise like it wuz bottoming out or something, not really sure thats why i posted this also but is that another affect of the box cuz the impression i got from all the reviews was that the btl would take the…

I noticed my sub isnt working at all. I thought there was a problem with my amp, or maybe the speaker wire came off inside the box. So as i checked all the aforementioned things, i pressed down on the cone and got a little burp of bass, but nothing else constant. Did i blow my sub? Is there any way to determine whats wrong? Ok on the box my subs shipped in there is a sticker with helpful hints. One of them talks about setting my amp with an oscilloscope to match my headunit voltage, and to set my gain. where can I find an oscilloscope and how do i do it. lol
