My gf asked me what FI stood for yesterday because she knows SSA is for Sound solutions audio and AA is ascendent audio. So I told her "I don't know, probably F***king Insane Car Audio since their speakers get so loud" But does it really mean? Is it like 2 people names? Or a phrase? I've never known.

Concern: I really wanted fi bl15 subwoofer but.. Fi website seems half functional, and don't have a phone number for support or anything.. how can i feel safe by order it? and i emailed fi.. i never get email from them... so how can i trust them? cause i don't feel trusting them right now. hope hear from u fi guys! or else..

Hi its me again i have another question about what amp should i get for my fully loaded btl not so expensive or who was a btl 18 and what amp are they using thanks.

The Fi BTL subs are amazing! I don't know if it is the new head-unit I have or the new amplifiers but WOW. It is amazing how tight the sound is compared to my old setup. My old equipment had a hard time keeping up with fast bass tone - changes and sounded a little mushy. I don't know if it is because I am running a higher ohm rating and therefore the subwoofers have a little more control, or if because I am pushing with 1 amplifier and pulling (180 switch) with the other, or if it is because my source unit is just THAT much better with the signal or what but - I am truly impressed with how good musically the subwoofers are. i 'am new here and i'am i want to know the use and meaning of the additional features of the fi subwoofers the flatwindcoil??? what is it for? coppercoil???? and the BP??? i think the bp is for cooling and increasing the power handling right?? if i will buy an fi do i need to upgrade these stuffs? thanks alot

I just registered over here, and Ive seen some of you on other forums that will know my setup, but Im sure alot of you dont. I got 4 18" BTLs, 8 Sundown SAZ-1500Ds, 10 Kinetik HC2400s, and a 300amp alt. The enclosure specs is 6.5ft, 35hz, 100sq in of port. Sorry, this video is real crappy. Its kinda hard to make a good video when I have like 20 seconds left on the camera and the battery is going to die.

Hey guys, I thought it would be a good idea if we could have a place to check the status on our subs upon request. With the new contest, I thought it would be a great addition to the board. The UPS tracking number is one way to check, but when your in my situation, about 4+ days for an SSD, I think it would be nice to know how your sub is doing, and when it will ship out. I know the guys at Fi are busy, and although this would be a great addition to the forum, they have the final call if this thread is a go. So I will start. Please include your name, e-mail, day payment was recieved, and type of subwoofer.

Scott, I have seen that you sent out a couple of tinsel leads to someone else in the past and was wondering if you could send me some new ones for a 12" BTL fully loaded. I noticed a couple of other ones are almost broken. Also what is the best way to put in the new leads? Any help would be great. Thanks

Well after a mere 5 months my Q12 has given up the ghost with no warning. I was pretty impressed with the Q. I was running it with a Memphis Belle mch1300 in 2.2cf @ 32hz Fisher box. The Q also had the BP option as well. I will also add that this is the first sub I have ever blown if that gives you an idea of how conservitave I generally run things.

so i Have an Fi SSD 12 Subwoofer and a planet audio 4000.1 amp i dont know if i set the levels on the amp correctly or not. so i just hooked it up yesterday and when testing it out i feel that the sub should be playing louder. Maybe i have to what till i breaks in to get louder or what ? thanks for any comments.

hey just recently got my btl 12 (quite the beast lol) and everything was all good until i got this dude to build my box...he "supposedly" contacted fi and got the box layout for my car which is a 92 camaro but i have my doubts...so its hooked up and the car shakes a lil bit but i can barely hear any bass...not sure if that makes sense but its kinda like its free airing even though its in the box...another thing is when i turned my amp up (aq2200) it made a like tapping noise like it wuz bottoming out or something, not really sure thats why i posted this also but is that another affect of the box cuz the impression i got from all the reviews was that the btl would take the…

Ok on the box my subs shipped in there is a sticker with helpful hints. One of them talks about setting my amp with an oscilloscope to match my headunit voltage, and to set my gain. where can I find an oscilloscope and how do i do it. lol

i will soon be getting 4 15" btl's can anyone tell me what would be a good amp to run these with, i want about 2-2500 watts to each. would like to have amps that are 12.5 to 13.8. this is going to be a spl set up and need good clean efficient amps. also if you know where i may can get a good deal from would be helpful also.(batteries also) thanks shane b.

We have the BTL N2 subs up on the site for sale with specs. As mentioned there will be about a 4 week lead time on the first orders of BTLs. This is due to waiting for the balance of steel and heatsinks to arrive. N1 will be up late tonight. Thanks, Scott

its been reviewed and its been a "god" in sq.its the w6 ...no doubt its a fantastic woofer..but how does the Q compare..this would be a nice reference .

So the Shop I was at today sells DD products, and they had a ton of DD apparel on the wall. I am going to go back and buy a shirt that says Digital Designs on the front and on the back it says something alot the line of grab a hold of some (DD logo) I chuckled to myself at there humor and thought, thats what FI needs... Someone on here said Fi- Hey you didnt need that mirror anyways I thought that would be awesome on the back of a shirt. Would you guys do something like that? If no would you care if i made one for myself?
