right now i have a loaded 15" BTL (dual 2) and am going to be getting a second one soon. as of now i have a ma audio hk4000d on the BTL. im looking to get either one or two amps to use for the BTLs. im looking for something that will give me around 3500-4000 watts per sub, but not cost an arm and a leg. what do you guys suggest?

I have a Hifonics BXi 2006D, and i need to know if i should get a Q or a BL. The amp pushes about 1600watts. also what options? I would use for daily use, i listen to rap. I was thinkin on going with the BL but if i could get your opinion. Thank You Wes

Alright Ive heard nothing but good things about you guys, and going to start saving up for my system and plan it out now. I have a 1993 camaro. Now my biggest dilema is my trunk, they are fudgeed in camaros.. I want a system with a little of box SPL and LOUD SOUND QUALITY... I want it to hit pretty damn hard and hit lows...but I also want decent sound quality. My choice right now is either between 2 12 BLS or Q's... Now if I can find anyone to build me a box or give me a design with dimensions for a camaro trunk ill go ported. I have 2 18 inch BL's walled off.... is the motor structure strong enough to demagnetize credit cards and swipe cards? This has twice now and I am trying to figure out what the hell is screwing up my work swipe card and dept card.

I just got a brand new mazda 3 hatchback and I'm looking to upgrade the stock sound system with a sub and amp. My budget for an amp and sub is gonna be about $500 but I can stretch it to $600 if absolutely necessary. So my BTL broke its tinsel leads and put rips in the spider so im looking to get a 15" Fully Loaded BTL Recone, i emailed Fi about the recone over a week ago and still havent heard anything back, im looking to place the order for one ASAP and try and get it ASAP as i got a new install going on, also i need a link to a place where i can buy CA Glue and CA Glue Accelerator as Fi dosent supply it with the recone kits anymore, thank ya Also, check out the pics

I was just wondering if any one could help me out. I was thinking bout getting a Fi bl 12 for my Crewmax. Im going to rip off the back panel behind the back seat and make a sub box with an amp rack. The box it self is going to have 2 - 2.4 cubic foot of airspace and tuned roughly between 30- 33 Hzs. The amp i have right now is a Diamond d6 1000.1 which does 1000 rms at 1 ohm. So i was just wondering if anyone thinks that this would be good or not? And also if the sub would beat kickers subs? Cuz wea i live everyone likes kickers.

I have a 91 S-10 Blazer 4dr... Right now I have a full JL Audio setup with a JL 300/4 powering my JL speakers and a JL 500/1 powering my 12W7 in a sealed box. Now I want to upgrade. I have a buddy with a single BL 12 which sounds good...but I think I want more than that. I have a '96 Nissan XE (extended cab) truck. I'm wondering if I can get the right air space for 4 BTL 15's with a hard tonneau cover or will I have to get a camper shell. Also, anyone know pricing and wattage on 15" BTL Loaded and BL Loaded? I'm wanting something I can use for daily and SPL comps. Are these good speakers to be used for both?

I have 4 Q15's ported in 10ft^3 tuned to 32hz on a IA40.1 @ .5 ohms. I am hitting 152db on a TL and 159.6db on AC mics, but I have it tuned for music and I feel the Q's are much more powerful down low. I compete locally for fun in unsanctioned events and have a nice lil collection of trophies. I can't decide on what size driver to get. It will be going into a 2000 jeep grand cherokee. The dimensions of the cargo area are approx. 30" x 15" x 42" which is ~10.4 cubic feet, however i'd like to have some space left. I'm thinking about about powering the sub with either a kicker zx 1000 or kx 1200.1(open to other comparable amp suggestions). Any particular advantages to each driver? Would the 15 be louder? I know its all install dependent. I listen to rap/hip hop and classic rock mostly(more hip hop though). Not really going for an SQ system, just want the substage to be tight, responsive, and get loud when i want to? Any input is appreciated.

Hopefully by saturday i am hoping to order my new fi daul 2 ohm and i know there isnt to much of a difference between the BL and Q i know that the Q will hit incredible deep and the BL hits harder and deep. but I'm not sure what im not sure what i want. i am wanting one that will hit deep but still want it to hit hard. does the Q hit hard or just really deep?

So it appears I may have made my box a touch to large and now im concerned about my sub hitting the back of my seat. I originally intended to recess the sub .75inches in a 1.5 inch thick ring. Not being familiar with the metric system I wasn't aware until about a hour ago of how big 27 mm Xmax was. Unless im mistaken that means the subs cone will have a hair over 2 inches of travel from peak to peak before getting into distortion. My concern lies with forward movement. I figured for .75 inches of forward movement, to find out now after the box is being constructed by me ( out of fiberglass ), that I didn't figure right. SO, how accurate is the 27mm measurment? And still haven't received it back. I have e-mailed several times over the past few months and not gotten any response. it was a 15" Kicker L7..I contacted Fi and they said they could take try and take care of it. Well they took care of it, but said they had a problem finding an old style dust cap for it. I understood it may not be the exact same before I sent it off. Well to begin, I will report on my expierence with FI customer service! I ordered through the site and paid with my paypal account, the site was very easy to understand and use! Once I ordered, I began harrassing Scott with all kinds of annoying questions. Scott answered everything I asked as best as he could, without complaint! I even sweated Ndmstang a few times, he too was helpfull and understanding. So all in all customer service was top notch. Tracking was so so, UPS sucks in my honest opinion, that has nothing to do with FI at all though! They rarely updated the info for tracking, it always looked as if my sub was just sitting around. I just got my BTL 18 today, it is now installed and even off that old opti 50c, it's louder than hell. It is louder than I thought it would be. The back wall of my cab below the window flexes 1/4 inch, and the slider window is going to break (possibly today). This is one outstanding product. Even if my window does break, I will be satisfied to the top. Thanks Scott and Shawn for assisting me and I definitely look forward to doing business again and promoting the product!
