Ok, i will probably be running 2 bls off of a sundown 3k. Not sure if i wanna do 2 15's and keep them straight upright firing through my blowthrough or have 2 18's slightly angled firing through it. What i am curious about, is there really an audible difference between the size of these two woofers if they are running the same power. I know the 18's will probably score higher in comps, but i doubt i will ever compete, so no point in getting less than a db more and losing that much more of the bed of my truck.

I want to purchase 2 of the Q18's for an attic mounted IB line array in my home theater. I am a member of the "IB cult" and AVS forums and I understand you guys can do some custom mods on these to gear them specifically for IB installations. I will be running them on a Behringer EP2500 amp and using the DSP1124p feeback destroyer pro. For 2 of these in an array config, what ohm rating, voice coil type, and wiring config would you guys suggest I use? I sent a few emails over the last 7-10 days, but cannot get a response so I thought I would post here. Any feedback or help would be much appreciated. checklist... stock Toyota 60 amp alt optima yellow top orion 2500d 4.72cuft net @ 34hz 5"x14" port area 1 15"BTL loaded. box is built to keep me in stock class, below windows, yada yada.etc. results.........AMAZING!!!!!!! as far as SQ, speaker is stunning, especially for an spl sub. low end is awsome also. will have legal scores and kack panel outlaw scores sometime saturday, Port wars number at last comp was 159.9 littlematt has videos of both my btl and his 12Q. my 15 let me know if you think my truck flexs a lil bit.. o yeah all panels a triple linned with sound deadner....roof, cab floor, everything!!!!!!

on the fi site under 15 they dont give a sealed box size. do these subs worked in sealed enclosures? i'd like to get a FI rep to give a recomended box size

Hey whats up fellow members...not really liking my setup need more power but my question is would 2 audioque 2200d amp be better for my FI 18 btl fully loaded...I have 2 USamps MD-3d right now running on ea..have the big 3 done all 0 gauge wire 5 optima batteries 300 amp HO alt voltage is running from 14.5 to 13.8 on certain songs dont get me wrong its loud just not enough so which amps are better if i left anything out let me know thanks in advance...

how much does a fully loaded 18" btl weigh?

I have an 2001 Cadillac Deville. I have a Rockford Fosgate T4001bd and am looking for subs. I have been really looking at the Fi Btl's and the RE MT's but not exactly sure what size i can get do to box size would really like to 18 as im trying to be as loud as possible and have heard good things about the 18" fi subs but not sure if the box would have tto be too big after looking at some oof meades builds but maybe some of you who have installed some setups like this could help. So i figured i would come here for advice.

I have a UFO style 18" BTL in the trunk of my vic, and I want to order the 12" Fi sticker, but I need to know if the adhesive is on the front side of the sticker or the back, because I have dark tint and want to put it on the outside of the window so it shows up well. So is the adhesive on the sticker face or will I be able to place it on the outside of my car?

Hi there, I have a small sealed enclosure with a Diamon Audio D3 sub that I want to upgrade, the box is around .95cf sealed, 22" long x 13" wide x 8" deep, I think its .5"mdf How would a SSD12 sub work in this enclosure getting around 600RMS from an alpine amp on a center console of a Ram Quad Cab? I can purchase two blown konaki 12 subs for 40 dollars per woofer and was wondering if I could send it in to Fi for a recone or purchase a recone from fi, I know you have to replace the basket as well... but if I can recone them for cheap it would be a good investment I think.... So I am starting to plan out my first system and have done some research and found fi. Looks like really nice stuff. I am looking at putting a Q10 in my 95' s10 extended cab. Probably in a sealed box after reading other news about the q series. how big do you think this should be? I thinking about pairing it with a sundown amp but was wondering if there was anything comparable for a little less cash. Also, how much upgrading will i have to do to my electrical system? Big three is going to happen soon, but what about a yellow top battery or anything like that? Thanks a lot.

Anyone know how much it would cost. I just emailed [email protected] about it. I'm so frustrated with this sub! I bought it from someone and it was making a wierd noise when he pushed on it and he put glue on it and it went away. But when we hooked it up it made a wierd noise when it played. He told me to put some glue on the spider in the center where it connects to the cone and I did that but it still didnt fix the problem. So I turned my gains on my MD2 down to where the sub played fine without it making the noise which was pretty much all the way down and used it from there. Went out to move my vehicle earlier(after bumping my bl 18") and noticed a car sitting in the road. I got in started it up and the car rolls forward and out pops a cop. He asks me if i was playing my music loudly earlier, and i told him I was. He skips right past the warning and asks me what i got, and i told him to shine his light in the window. He says holy chit and asked for the company name so i told him. He wrote all down on a notepad and told me what he had in his previous system ,and we bullchitted for a few mins and told me he would look into it and rolled off.

Hi, I have a FI 15 Q that needs to be rebuilt or re-coned because one of the voice coils is burned up. I am wanting to know if I sent the speaker in can they rebuild it as a BL or BTL, and how much would it cost?

Just wondering if anyone has sent there sub in to get reconed? If so how long does it usually take to get it back
