i was just on fi site,does anyone know it the 18fibtl have good sound quality.i know they hit hard and i am not in competitions but will they be good for every day listening ??

I can purchase two blown konaki 12 subs for 40 dollars per woofer and was wondering if I could send it in to Fi for a recone or purchase a recone from fi, I know you have to replace the basket as well... but if I can recone them for cheap it would be a good investment I think.... Thank you for any advice in advance ~ jonathon. (oh and these look just like the audioques just as a reference to which subs i am talking about)

im ordering a 18" bl series sub with coling, flatwind, and for daily. what would be the pros and cons of gettin a 1 ohm or 2 ohm or universal sub?

Would it be better to get a fully loaded bl or q? Sundown says the new 1200 is capable of closer to 1400 given you have the electrical to back it up.

So i have had my btl for a while now and am very pleazed with it. I had a few questions though. 1) i currently have a saz 1500 d sundown to it and was wondering if i got a bigger amp (of course another sundown) if it would really be any difference. 2)what is the best way to tell the subsonic filter is set at because i think its around 34 hertz but i am conserned because of what i read about poorly set sub filters. thanks for the help

Hey Scott, Are the specs the same on my subwoofer, power handling wise? Is it still 1000 rms or is it more now? I'm trying to figure out the right voltage so I can set the gains on my amp with my DMM. Oh and the shirt is awesome, thanks alot for the shirt and the stickers.

Whats a better amp the (this is for one Fi BTL 15) Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D Or HIFONICS BXi-2006D (BXi2006D) MONO 2000W BRUTUS Series AMPLIFIER I was thinking the Sundown but i heard other people saying Hifonics.

Hey whats up fellow members...not really liking my setup need more power but my question is would 2 audioque 2200d amp be better for my FI 18 btl fully loaded...I have 2 USamps MD-3d right now running on ea..have the big 3 done all 0 gauge wire 5 optima batteries 300 amp HO alt voltage is running from 14.5 to 13.8 on certain songs dont get me wrong its loud just not enough so which amps are better if i left anything out let me know thanks in advance...

Is there a list of subs-brands and models-that FI knows they can recone, without sending it in perhaps???? soo many ?'s about recones. j/w cuz it would be nice to know, can be on the lookout for these subs if we knew what ones can be, ya know what im sayin?? Thanks

hi all i was bored, so i thought i'd post a coupla pics of my beloved fi's and my german made esx's that i raved about. they both handle around the same wattage but the fi's are'nt as choosey which box they slam in. some vids later.

Alright i aalready asked this before but never really got an answer. What do you think would be louder 2 12" SSD's each getting 750-1000 watts or a BL 18 getting 1500-2000. Please dont say it depends on the install. lets just say they are in there optimal enclosures.

I'm pretty stoked, I finally placed my order for my 15" Q dual 1 about five minutes ago, and I can't wait until it gets here. I've been hearing nothing but good things about Fi.

Ok, i will probably be running 2 bls off of a sundown 3k. Not sure if i wanna do 2 15's and keep them straight upright firing through my blowthrough or have 2 18's slightly angled firing through it. What i am curious about, is there really an audible difference between the size of these two woofers if they are running the same power. I know the 18's will probably score higher in comps, but i doubt i will ever compete, so no point in getting less than a db more and losing that much more of the bed of my truck.

does anyone have any suggestions on box size for 2 12" BTL's. it'll be in the bed of an s10....

Hi there, I have a small sealed enclosure with a Diamon Audio D3 sub that I want to upgrade, the box is around .95cf sealed, 22" long x 13" wide x 8" deep, I think its .5"mdf How would a SSD12 sub work in this enclosure getting around 600RMS from an alpine amp on a center console of a Ram Quad Cab? As i were ordering a 18" fi btl fully loaded, i noticed i didnt find norway on the shipping address, someone know why or ? cant i get a pair of these to norway ?

Heys guys im new to the forum and need some input. I'm ready to purchase a Fi sub and i really wanna try the BL 18". I currently have a Kicker ZX1000 rated at 1267 rms. I was thinking i would be underpowering the sub or maybe it'll sound good. You guys gotta any suggestions or opinions please reply. Oh and its goin in a caprice trunk if that matters. Thanks.

Could anyone give me the specs for a 18" Fi Bl ported box going in a Chevy Suburban. (Plenty of space.) 47 inches in width. More than that in length and height. I want a great port and the box to be tuned to around 30-35 hz. Please help me. Specs with pictures would really help. Thank you all. I am going for low freq's. along with decent mid freq's. I am talking about the box cutting specs. Please help me.
