i need some help. im using a sundown saz 2000 and i cant decide what subs to use. fi bl 15s or the nightshade 15s. im having a box made for which ever i decide and theyre goin in a focus hatchback....no wall tho i hear the bls are more musical . its my daily driver and ive never competed . just like loud music and people lookin at me like im nuts

due to a drunken night i completely ruined my Fi shirt. i poored cranberry juice all over it, and somehow got a hole in it. it was my favorite shirt, and now i need another......is there any way i can purchase another one? feel free to pm me with details, or ill contact by email if need be.

Well i sent in my money order for a Q10 a week ago friday stating that i would like dual 2ohm coils, well, things changed a little so i e-mailed Fi and asked if my order could be changed to dual 1ohm coils... No answer and i sent the e-mail sunday morning. I don't really want to send another e-mail because i know they are really busy, but... i need to know if my order was changed or not... Any ideas? So, this morning at around 7AM, i get into my car, turn up the volume, and no bass. The sub wasnt playing at all. the lights on the amp were on, but i drive for like 15 minutes, still nothing. after 7 hours after school, i go to drive home, and still nothing, about half way home, BOOM the bass kicks in, just as loud as normal, no abnormalities. what could have caused this? ive had the setup installed for a week or so. 1 15" FI BTL Hifonics bxi-2608D Alpine IDA X100 headunit i have NOT checked ALL connections yet, but what else could it have been, it hasn't happened again yet. I will get a lot more concerned once it happens again, but right now, im not too worried.

So I've emailed all three emails at Fi, and I can't message Nick so hoping to get a response here. I know I'm a broken record about this but ... I was reading some of your production process. It said the day after the order I should have gotten a UPS Tracking number. I ordered my recone march 5th. I emailed [email protected] a couple times after the initial time I was told of 12 to 15 business, being as its now April 1st, and I have got no tracking number, no email replies, and no recone. I finally got my btl but as i was looking and drooling over it i noticed that there are no mounting holes lol does this happen often and do i just drill them myself ?

Not really rantin, but have been waiting 2 weeks to get my tax check. I was getting ready to order 2 BTL 15's today and i noticed the price WAS 898.00 the last time i checked, now it's 983 because of 85 dollars in shipping, so now i got to wait till wednesday to get back to the bank. When did fi quit offering free shipping? It had to have been within the past week?

order 2 BL 18's recently. got them both and i got a FI card and 2 Fi stickers but no receipt. i was wondering if you guys ship your subs with a receipt or not? if not its cool, i am just used to getting one in paper form as well as email form. George

I have sent several emails to change my order of the bl 10 from dual 2 ohm to dual 1 ohm, but I have not received any response if they could do it. I was wondering if I could just get a conformation on if they can do it or not. My order number is #1379.

So I ordered my subwoofer after a summer of saving finally. Anyway I never got a UPS tracking number email. It's been 17 day since my order has been sent in along with my money being accepted. Just wondering if I understood what they meant about it. Do I get it when they actually ship my subwoofer or after my order was placed? Thanks for the help guys

I was about to place a order for a pair of BTLs until I read the warranty info "WHAT IS NOT COVERED? This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed. *DUE TO THE EXTREME NATURE OF ITS INTENDED USAGE, THE BTL SERIES OF SUBWOOFERS HAS NO WARRANTY COVERAGE (outside of arriving in proper working condition after shipping)" So if I want a sub with warranty coverage I have to choose a lower line like the BLs?

I'm planning to buy two of the fully loaded Q15's, and I have a question regarding how to hook them up. When I get them I plan to hook them together either in series or parallel and (This is where the question comes in) run off a monoblock Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdCP. Now since each requires 1000w rms would it be safe to run them at 1250 off of the 2500w monoblock? I plan to put them in a ported or bandpass style enclosure that'll take up most of my 43inx40inx17in (roughly) trunk. Would this be a good set up for the two woofers? And is that the correct power for them? Also, the second question I somehow forgot, how would I wire two dual 1 ohm Q15's to get them to hook up…

Hey all im new here and have been eyeballing a fi btl 12 for a while now and would like to get yalls opinion on what all options to go with, my scenario will be just for listening to, no competitions just a daily sub, any opinions or comments would be great, and what about amps? i am currently running a 12 l7 in a 2.0 cubic ft ported box at 32 htz with a power accoustik amp have had this set up for bout 2 years and no problem, but i have heard people put down there amps alot....opinions or comments? I was just bored in class and a couple things popped into my head that i want some opinion on...i'm a class A noob and i just bought a 15" BTL..anyways i plan on running the sub off a jl 250/1 for the time being until i have enough money to buy a rockford t2k..i know it'll be underpowered as hell but i don't see anything wrong with it lol (i know the gain can't be cranked up so it clips and all don't worry)..but the underpowered sub will still be better than my door speakers that i listen to now since my sub went bye bye haha don't ask.. anyways i'm tight on money being that i'm still a teenager and all .. but nevermind all that sry i just i know there are some expirience…

Ok, this is gonna probably be a stupid question. I just got my Fi Q 15, it's running in a 3.6cu ft box tuned to 32hz. I set my gains on my sundown 1500 to 31.6v with a 50hz test tone. I get alot of output on rap and bass tracks, but on music like Dave Matthews or John Mayer, or even Stone Temple Pilots, you really hear no bass and the sub is barely moving. I know I have a little air leak around the bottom of the gasket but I dont think that it would make a difference. I have the sub crossed at the deck at 63hz with a 18db slope. No bass boost at the amp. I really would like to know why I dont get much output. I'm happy with it on rap and bass tracks. I move my back wall a…

so i Have an Fi SSD 12 Subwoofer and a planet audio 4000.1 amp i dont know if i set the levels on the amp correctly or not. so i just hooked it up yesterday and when testing it out i feel that the sub should be playing louder. Maybe i have to what till i breaks in to get louder or what ? thanks for any comments.

Sorry for all of the NooB questions lately. I'm just undecisive right now. I do know I want to go with the BTL drivers, but not sure which combination. I have the budget, I have the space required. I'm not sure if I want 2 15" BTLs with 2k each or 1 18" btl with 3000-3500 to it. How do the Btl's compare to the MTX 9500 and the JL W7? Personally, I dont care for the JL, but I love the 9500s. Vehicle we're looking at is a big ol expedition. Plenty of room for something nice and loud. Not to sound childish, but I want something so loud, i can barely sit in the vehicle with it at max - if at all. i put a 15" 9500 in the back of a prelude once, and it was plenty loud then. - …

I am curious what some of you are getting in a sealed setup with you Q's...my wife is kinda wanting a fairly loud setup (loud in the sense of volume, not db output)...I guess the term would be considered LSQ. Heres the deal, I just finished a box for one 15, I made the box to be ready for the bl 15 or a btl, but with the free cooling going on for the wait time on the btl I have decided that i want the btl kinda, but I still need some help deciding what i should go for. Reason being i have all stock electrical other than new alt (not HO tho)... Also my current amp is only a bxi 1200.1D so im not sure if it would be bad to underpower the btl even tho i would be getting a new amp for it, just not right away. I do have sound deadening out of the way already So what should i do get the bl and upgrade my electrical while i wait to get it? Or, Get the btl and upg…
