I am pretty sure I will be running 4 Q's in my new setup. My big question....what are some good amps to match them up to. I was thinking about 2 amps allowing for 2 subs on one amp so if one amp died on me it would be cheaper to get a new amp. Here is what I was thinking so far: Kicker 2500's>>>allow about 1250 watts per Q (not sure how Kicker amps are, good price though ) RF 2000's>>>>>Love the look of these amps, but they are a little more costly. Sundown 3000>>>Afraid 1500 watts will be to much for a Q. Sexy amp though MTX Thunder Elite 4000>>>No clue at all about MTX, nice lookin amp, would have to run a 2 Ohm load. Any…

For a while i have been pondering on whether to get a fully Loaded 15" Btl or 2 12" Q's I know that they are in very different (technology wise), but i have read alot on these forums that sometimes cone area can over come better machinery they are relatively the same price when it all comes down to it. They will be ran off of a AudioQue 2200D I just want opinions (not criticism) on which sub/subs you guys think will pound harder. I have a 03 trailblazer and i like lows Box will be ported and built accordingly

So i have had my btl for a while now and am very pleazed with it. I had a few questions though. 1) i currently have a saz 1500 d sundown to it and was wondering if i got a bigger amp (of course another sundown) if it would really be any difference. 2)what is the best way to tell the subsonic filter is set at because i think its around 34 hertz but i am conserned because of what i read about poorly set sub filters. thanks for the help

  6. Hey just doing some window shopping looking for opitions for my amp hoping to ad Fi to my list I'm not looking to buy soon and I know alot can change in a company's line-up over a year but I treat car audio like my version of a fantiacy football league and I'll do builds in my head waiting to hit the lottery or my kids to graduate so I can have more toys... How I like my bass... Loud, Low, & Clean as posible I listen to just about everything but mostly rock and rap Car... not positive leaning toward a smaller hatchback like a honda civic or mini cooper, either way the space required for humans can be limited to the front seats and enough room for a suitca…

Hey guys, I am new to this forum. Been out of the car audio scene for quite awhile (i don't know what happened to elitecaraudio.com????). Anyway! My bro is looking around spending 180-220 per 15 (total of 2) and a decent amp (oh 200-300 maybe) I suggested the RE SE's or the FI SSD's and possibly a Soundstream or Orion amp? I am a fan of RE and if my memory serves me - Fi was started by a former worker of RE (steve?) Well thanks for your time and help!

Alright i aalready asked this before but never really got an answer. What do you think would be louder 2 12" SSD's each getting 750-1000 watts or a BL 18 getting 1500-2000. Please dont say it depends on the install. lets just say they are in there optimal enclosures.

Hey everyone, I'm new here! I'm about to put some bass back into my car finally. Just hoping you guys can be a little better help than RoE was. So I'm thinking I want to go with 1 12" SSD and I'm looking at a Hifonics BXi1206D amp. I'm only looking to spend about $600 on everything. Now a few questions: Do you think that amp is a good match? What type of box should I run? (I like real powerful bass) And is my 4ga wire going to be enough. (I already have a Rockford Fosgate p400.4 hooked up to my door's) Thanks in advance!

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that a package soon would be there. Everyone was nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of Subwoofers danced in their heads. To awake in the morning to a box sealed with tape, and inside a woofer that really sounds great. Merry Christmas to everyone at Fi
