hey guys ...have a quick question ...i just bought 2-12" FI Q DVC 1 ohm used...just got them in the mail today so i pulled out my meter to check the ohms on each coil ..1 sub i get .8 to .9 on one coil and 1.0 to 1.2 on the other coil.... sub 2... 1.0 to 1.2 on one coil and 1.1 to 1.4 on the other coil is this ok ? i know on the FI site 1 ohm dvc should be .7 ohms and 2 ohms dvc should be 1.4 ohms and yes i am using a good meter ( fluke 116) just dont know if the ohms go up a little once they are broken in which is my case since they are used .....just want to make sure i am hooking them up to a sundown saz1500d at 1 ohm and dont want to blow anything …

i am going to be running a memphis amp 1100 @ 1 ohm . its going in a downfire center console in a reg cab silverado . im thinking a ported 10 or a sealed 12. i have around 2 cubes to work with . im looking for a good overall response. what do you think?

In the technical section it's mentioned that there would be testing on running a 15" SSD sealed. ANy testing on this and any recommended enclosure size?

Hey whats up fellow members...not really liking my setup need more power but my question is would 2 audioque 2200d amp be better for my FI 18 btl fully loaded...I have 2 USamps MD-3d right now running on ea..have the big 3 done all 0 gauge wire 5 optima batteries 300 amp HO alt voltage is running from 14.5 to 13.8 on certain songs dont get me wrong its loud just not enough so which amps are better if i left anything out let me know thanks in advance...

i have a motor off of a sub that i blew....well creased and cracked the cone....i was told it was a tc9...but i want to make sure before i try and get a recone...but here are pics any help would be appreciated

i just got my sub today i put it in my van it slams i'm really glad with the purchase i made. i'm suprised it hit that hard thanks.

When i place my order, since I live in an apartment building, I was wondering if you can require signature confirmation so whoever you guys ship through doesnt just leave the sub sitting around the mail room or outside? this way if I'm not home, I can go pick it up and sign for it. thanks

Ok I have a friend gettin two alpine mrp2000 amps each pushin about 2248wrms at 2 ohms and hes running that to two alpine Type X 12s.. Now me being me I just wanna 'keep up and surpass' him and Im gettin 2 BTL 12s with a Sundown 3500D but I dont have either yet.. Will my car still be louder? p.s. I plan to have 2.5^3 for each sub and tuned to about 35hz

ok I've decided to go with 2 SSd, 10's running off a rockford t10001bd so will the dual 1 ohm subs run at 1 ohm brigged?

Saw a pic of a guy's sub on here and it looked like a TSNS basket i believe ? T3 and TC sounds use it, i thought the patents on this basket prevented people like you and all to use it. Would you sell these baskets seperate ?

Right now i have a 15" FI Q with BP and im trying to sell it. A guy came up that was interested and before i was asking more but i really need the money quick so i said $200 for sub or $299 for sub and box. I made the box so cheap because it was custom made for my car. Anyways, to get to the point he only has 170 now and so he was thinking of trading and he has some 12" audiobahns and i dont want that and then he has a jensen vm9312. Currently i have an Alpine 9886 so my question to you guys is should i trade and get the headunit or is my alpine better and i should just wait for cash? Thanks, Alex

I have a 18" bl and one of my tinsel leads recently broke. How do i go about fixing it? I'd prefer to send it to Fi if possible but am having trouble getting a response. Hopefully scott stumbles upon this. Thanks -Jeff

I know the SQ of the Fi Q 12" is good. but will it still bump good in a 2^3 foot box off of 1200 rms???

hey the other day my friend was moving his enclosure (with sub in it) and it slipped out of his hand and when it hit the floor the motor snapped rite off of the basket. so what im wondering is how much would a 18" basket and a recone kit be for his btl. the motor is daily, and universal... he would like it to be dual 1 ohm. it was fully loaded, 3rd magnet, ect. he wants it to be the same as it was. also he has a 18" 05 re xxx that is messing up and he is wondering about a recone kit for that too. tried sending you guys a pm but inbox is full. any help is vary much appreciated. i just ordered my 12'' Q w/ the Bp option. I have a hifonics bxi1208d and i was wondering if the sub is going to take more power now that i got the option. I mean the option was free so i thought why the heck not. Is it going to be underpowered? I know hifonics is overrated but i dont have the cash for sundown, audioque, ect. thanks for the help!!

Im looking for some recones for my mt's I have emailed scott about 2 weeks ago and havent heard back from him. I figured here would be the best place to get ahold of him other than via email. Which would be the better choice? Looking for very loud. Listen to mainly rap. Going in a ported box in my trunk tuned to 32hz. Running off of 2x saz-1500d's. ps. The 15 would have to be done sub up port back due to 13.5" of hight available. thanks =]

For a while i have been pondering on whether to get a fully Loaded 15" Btl or 2 12" Q's I know that they are in very different (technology wise), but i have read alot on these forums that sometimes cone area can over come better machinery they are relatively the same price when it all comes down to it. They will be ran off of a AudioQue 2200D I just want opinions (not criticism) on which sub/subs you guys think will pound harder. I have a 03 trailblazer and i like lows Box will be ported and built accordingly
