this is for scott or any of the fi reps... heres what im wanting to do- im working on a show car, and im wanting to powdercoat my subs to match certian parts on the vehicle (baskets to match the exterior color, and top/bottom plate of the motor to match certian trim in the interior) after i order and pay would it be possible to send me those parts so i can get them powdercoated, then send them back for assembly? thanks! Hey, I'm planning on buying a 12'' Fi Q sub, and I was wondering what type of box would be good for me... I have a polk/momo c500.1. I was planning on getting the dual 1ohm to run 500rms to the sub. I'm looking for good SQ(obviously why I'm getting the Q) but I want to be able to feel that chit in my back if I want to, lol. It's going in an older 4DR BMW. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Does Di make a recone for a MTX 8500 10" OR could it be done with a different basket? If so whats the price for a recone. (BTL and SSD if you use the series in those recones)

I ordered a BL15 today with all the options and a green dust cap. I'm going to order 1/0 wire as mine are 4 gauge right now. I have a ZX1000.1 for the sub. I have a guy that's going to help with building a custom fiberglass ported box. I have a '05 Mercury Mariner. Other than the bigger power/ground wire to 1/0 should I add a battery in the back? The other amp for the front Focal components is a ZR240.

why is it so hard to sell a fi btl 18" sub. i was selling it for 350 plus the shipping is that to much .

Would the BTL be worth the extra 200 dollars or should I just go with the BL?

Could anyone give me the specs for a 18" Fi Bl ported box going in a Chevy Suburban. (Plenty of space.) 47 inches in width. More than that in length and height. I want a great port and the box to be tuned to around 30-35 hz. Please help me. Specs with pictures would really help. Thank you all. I am going for low freq's. along with decent mid freq's. i bought some ssd 18s used how can i tell if they have the high qts option, and if i had a fully upgraded sub whats will be the rms and max watts of the sub?

first off i love to bump. but i also love the truck i got right now. i wanna keep the rear bench seat also. so my plan is to do a build that will be loud but also compact. now i measured it out and ive got around 1.2 cubic feet under the bench seat to work with i would like to do 2 10s. i dont plan on burping at all. now i planned on goin with making sealed enclosures for them but would i be better off with a ported. if i have to im sure i could maybe get 1.5 cube out of it if i really make the box fit perfectly. also would i maybe be better off with going with a different series. i would still be stuck with only 10s tho cause thats all the bigger the gap is gonna allow.…

Hey guys! Here are a few vids of my Q 15's. The first 2 are vids with my first box which was 7.2 CuFt after all displacement tuned to 32 Hz. That box fell apart cause the guy who built it didnt use any kind of adhesive in the joints...only screws. You can actually hear the rattling from the box...it sounded horrible. The second 2 are with new box which is 8CuFt, tuned to 30hz with 120 SqIn of port. Enjoy! The vids just dont do these justice. This is by far the loudest and best sounding setup I've ever had. hmmm on my way home i saw this focus hatchback with a huge FI AUDIO sticker on the entire rear windshield. its a 2dr hatchback, white with blue graphics and blue rims, + lambo doors. i know he used to have like 4 15" power acoustics and everyone said it sounded terrible..... now hes running FI im guessing, wonder what he has....? is he possibly sponsored by Fi??? palm coast FL btw.

A buddy's Eclipse 10" has blown. It's this one if im not mistaken: LINK Can Fi do a recone on this? If he wanted it reconed to a 12 or 15 Im guessing he'd need a new basket?

Can a fully loaded BL (cooling, flatwind coil, p chamfer) take a sundown 1500d easily?

The rubber lip around the edge of sub is not aligned properly to the holes in the metal. I was just curious if it would damage the sub for me to peel the lip off and align it correctly. The only reason I would do this is so the people that install the sub dont slip up and just drill right through the metal instead of the holes designated. Thanks.

how much of a difference is there for output from a 12"btl to a 18",, i have a bl15 fully loaded and shes getting 900 rms, im debating on getting a btl and sell my bl15 but it would cost a lot to buy the btl and get a huge amp for it. should i just buy a bigger amp for my bl or get the btl, if the btl is really that good it ill save up and get it what yall think thanks.

Im sick of changing my mind lol.. Basiclly, I found someone else with the same jeep as me and he says that side firing is the best for ours because the port needs room to load, and it doesn't have the room it needs firing directly into the rear hatch. Any truth to that? How much of a difference is it going to make going from 6 cubes with 96sq/in of port area to 8 cubes with 128 Sq/in of port area? Can someone help me design the box. I mean I have the basic design down, But I need to know how to do the port. Cause I am lost.
