Newly converted to FIcarudio products by xconcepts from caraudio i am wondering what is the min power requirement for the SSD's i will be replacing a pair JL Audio 10w3v2's in a sealed enlosure of 0.625 which are both being powered by a JL Audio 500/1 , and being unfermiliar with the FIcarudio subs , i'm wondering will a pair of 10 "SSD's work properly being connected and boxed the same way ?? The Jl's were rated 300 W each , will the amp be sufficient for these two SSD's to perform properly ? i,m also thinking flat wind and copper , is it a good idea to add these two add ons with this amp and enclosure set up .? Will also be adding a pair of 10 " 2 ohm BL's each connecte…

I'm going to be putting 2 loaded Fi BL 18's in a wall in my focus zx4. I was just wondering what configuration you guys think might work best: 1. subs side by side with port(s) in the middle 2. subs side by side with port on drivers side 3. subs side by side and port(s) on top ...and no I dont have room to do one on top of the other, with port on the drivers side. Thanks guys!

Car: 2000 Ford Explorer 4Door Current system: Apline CDE-102 HU Fi 18in BL 09 1500D Sundown all 1/0 gauge knu wire. 8cu ft box. sub facing roof/port facing hatch. Tuned to 32hz I must say that I am very pleased with FI and their product, I am just wanting my system to be maximizing its output. My first hing which I plan to improve is running big 3, I am NOT having dimming in my car and is it really needed if it does not effect the output of the sub. I was thinking of making a better designed box that has both the sub and port facing the rear. I was also thinking about putting dynamat in the trunk door of the car to help with rattle. Any more suggestions would be great or …

I was just bored in class and a couple things popped into my head that i want some opinion on...i'm a class A noob and i just bought a 15" BTL..anyways i plan on running the sub off a jl 250/1 for the time being until i have enough money to buy a rockford t2k..i know it'll be underpowered as hell but i don't see anything wrong with it lol (i know the gain can't be cranked up so it clips and all don't worry)..but the underpowered sub will still be better than my door speakers that i listen to now since my sub went bye bye haha don't ask.. anyways i'm tight on money being that i'm still a teenager and all .. but nevermind all that sry i just i know there are some expirience…

I'm trying to figure which I would be better off doing a 15" N2 in 5 cuft box after port displacement or a 18" N2 in the same size box and same power tuned to 32 hz. What are some of the opinions of what I would lose/gain over going with the 18 as opposed to the 15 other than more cone area? I was thinking I might lose a little low end and get higher box rise on the 18" but then again I'm not 100% sure. I'm doing a build on my friends car while he's away. the car is a 04 sebring convertible. As far as power goes it'll be 1.5-2.5k. Not sure what I want to go with yet as he is not a very responsible listener and I'm probably going to have to glue the gain down to keep hi…

I ordered a 15 q dual 1 ohm with cooling on 2/13. I work at best buy and get a great deal on kicker amps. Today the kx1200 dropped in price and is now in my price range. Problem is it is 1 ohm stable and the amp i previously picked out was 2 ohm stable. So i ordered the dual 1 ohm. I need to change my order. I need a dual 2 ohm instead. Is this possible?

OK... given that this is our 4000th topic (after the crash of 2008...lol), I felt it would be a good time to introduce some of our new giveaways and contests. We will edit this post with our daily schedule for free promo items with orders (like T-Shirt Tuesdays... first dozen sub orders get free t-shirts...) We will also announce weekly contests for products as well. Adding the new apparel warehouse, we are greatly expanding POP items and our promo capabilities. And as usual... we would like to pass it along to our customers. Updates tomorrow... Thanks, Scott

I know you have old parts laying around from subs you have worked on in the past. Any chance you have any RE RE series voice coils laying around? Yes I realize they are cheap subs and probably not worth the recone. I think I bought them for 56 shipped each(4). But if I get bored one day it could be fun. Anyway, let me know. If not no big deal
