i just wanted to know before i ordered, is the cooling option important to add to the 15"btl for a daily sub?

The web site FiCarAudio does not list Le (or alternatively Ls and Lp), the inductance parameters. Anyone know the values for the Q15 and the Q18? TIA =>><<=robobob

Hey I ordered a D1 SSD 10 awhile ago, with the BP Power option and the copper coil. My tracking number says that my sub came today at 2:11pm and was delivered to my front door, but my mother was here all day and says she never had somebody come to the door. I came home at 3:20 and there was no package outside then. It is now 6:11pm and there is still no sub here. Is this typical with tracking orders from Fi? I contacted UPS and they said to contact Fi. Please get back to me ASAP as I am really worried I will not get my sub. I emailed Scott a little bit ago and just put this up to see if any1 could give me any other info. Thanks, Ross

I hate to bring up a vs. thread, but this one seems reasonable. If you read my thread in the subwoofer section, you know my deal. Basically i want to upgrade from an avalanche and I think i have decided on either the Fi Q or BL. Both will be receiving 1200 watts and be put in a 3.5 @ 30hz enclosure. From my other thread, i learned that the Q will probably work better in my box, but the BL will be louder in the end. I will probably build a new box come summer time better suited to whichever sub i get and to my car (hatchback=sub up). Both subs are the same price...i won't be putting options on either...so i am pretty torn. I have researched and found people to say the Q …

What is the optimal box size (cubic feet) and port area (square inches) for a 12" BTL? Tuning to about 35 Hz.

I ordered a recone on June 17th for a 15" BTL triple stack magnets D1 with white dustcap lettering My name is Matt and my email is [email protected] and my tracking is 1ZX7497Y0343439336 I am getting rather frustrated considering the BTL is sold and I am just waiting on the recone so I can recone it and get it shipped to the buyer. i guess ill go with the single 15" btl in a 5cft ported box instead of an 18" in a 6.5cft box i wish i had the air space for 1 18 btl but one of the members on this forum said by having 1 15 in its correct encloser v.s having a 18" in a 6.5 encloser which is recommend to have 5-8 cft per sub the 15 would be better to get the most bass. i hope everything work out right just seeing what you guys think. (1998 buick century)

i was wondering if a BL with pchamber (sp?) and SPL package will do nice daily (not daily 2k beating 4 hrs a day) maybe....20 mins of play time a day? this has probably been covered also but how much port area would you recomend im going to be going about 6.5-7 cubes tuned to?

just wanted to say thanks again to scott and FI for there awesome customer services. last year i blew 2 btl's 18's 2 weeks before NSPL finals,call fi and ordered 2 recones and i got them less than 10 days.made the finals and won.i blew the subs from bad rca's. so it was not there fault but mines.awsome subs.they play like a timex.they take a beating and keep on ticking. now i went to a show2 weeks ago and opps rca pull out so i blew 2 subs again.again my fault.same subs too.the other subs are still strong. well with only 2 of 4 subs i still did over a 162 db'.so i was ok,but now i need subs for the NSPL finals and no cash. after i came up with some cash i called scott a…

ok im gonna be buying two 18 Fi bls and wondering if 4000 watts was too much for them. i know that Fi subs can take more than rated but is this too much?? they will hopefully be two U.S. AMPS MD 3Ds

Alright, I have 2 Fi X12's in a prefab ported box right now. they sound alright but not great. Either I put ~$200 into a box for them or I save up and buy a Q15 and a box(~$300+$200). my question: how much better will the Q sound than two 12X's? is it worth waiting to save up for the Q and the extra $300. I am having a problem fitting my 15" Q in my trunk, I have built a box and there is just no way to make it happen...is there any chance I can switch and get the 12" Q? I know its a lot to ask, but I have the 15" Q, its never been run, and I still have the packaging so I can ship it back to you. Let me know what you can do.

im looking to purchase either 2 BL 18's or 2 MTX T9515-44 15's im not sure what amp to get, iwas thinkin on going with autotek but ive heard people say they aint very stable, if not one of those, what would be a good amp to run those subs?

I ordered a BL15 today with all the options and a green dust cap. I'm going to order 1/0 wire as mine are 4 gauge right now. I have a ZX1000.1 for the sub. I have a guy that's going to help with building a custom fiberglass ported box. I have a '05 Mercury Mariner. Other than the bigger power/ground wire to 1/0 should I add a battery in the back? The other amp for the front Focal components is a ZR240.
