ok so i made up this box from a website.. for those who know what they are doing can you let me know if these specs are accurate and if this will work well for the Q i went for 4 cu ft and 30hz port

ok i have two 1000 watt rms ams and not lookin to buy new ones just got these and i need two 12s and id like for them to get lower and louder the a w7 12 and yes the box will be disigned well but im need to know from the FI guys what would be the best sub for daily use to handle 1000rms and beat a w7 thanks i was lookin at the FI Q and BL ones but someone let me know and i want to power them right not under power them

My system is going to be for daily driving , I have both my amps, both my subs, and my box is on the way. Ive heard alot of conflicting replies though about the amount of power im throwing to the BL's. They are RF1500's but the birth sheet rates them at about 1700, so pretty much each sub will get around that much if my electrical is good enough. My question is, will the loaded BL's be able to take this daily?

yeah. well I'm having a hard time getting the proper size enclosure setup for what i want to install in the future. so being that i have about 3k in power for my subs i was considering on taking up a BTL 15" now, i truly love my XXX and i love the low end of them but my downfall on them is the lack of upper frequencies. now my only other options that are in mind with my 2 XXX's is running them sealed. they will be 15's. I ordered a 10" BL this Saturday, but realized after reading some forums that I didn't need the extreme lead option.. I e-mailed the orders department like 20 min. after i placed the order, but have yet to get any response. That being said, I have already received tracking confirmation and they stated that the sub would be delivered this Friday..what can I do besides ordering another new sub? I will be using the sub daily, and dont want the tinsel slap or worn out spiders that this option is known for..anyone with some advice?

Just a quick question and just wondering how many spiders does this year model BL have, I have a BL 12 and it is amazing, im enjoying every minute i play it, the reason i ask is because its stiffness is almost that of a BTL

Hey so i recently ordered an Fi BL 18in dual 2ohm. And i made a huge mistake. I treid to contact Fi at [email protected] to see if theres anychance for them if they hadnt start building the subwoofer if they can change it from dual 2ohm to dual 1 ohm. if any of the Fi car audio workers see this plz help to see if i can get that changed

Just received my FedEx information for order number 1471/1472 on order 1471 is says as follows Reference information includes: Department number: (1)BL15D2 FC Ice On order number 1472 it says, Reference information includes: Department number: (1)BL12D2 FC Ice I order 2 BL12s not a 15 and a 12 Also both say there 51lbs which is what the 12's weigh, the 15's are 54lbs so I hope its just a typo error n my order is correct

could a bl 18 with just cooling handle a saz 2000d? my buddies wantin to get the 2000d but he dont have flatwind so he mite get the 1500d.

Saw a pic of a guy's sub on here and it looked like a TSNS basket i believe ? T3 and TC sounds use it, i thought the patents on this basket prevented people like you and all to use it. Would you sell these baskets seperate ?

A while back I posted a topic about one of my subs having a softer suspension than the other and I knew this would happen because one was bought like several weeks before the other but figured eventually they both should level out to have the same stiffness of suspension but that isn't the case. After doing some testing last night a couple of buddies of mines who happens to be a serious competitors bought it to my attention and said it may cause somethings such as cancellation or something then again it may be nothing but you never know. Well first of all let me say hello and its nice to be here second yes I am a distributor for steg but no I wont hawk my product unless asked for . Now to the issue at hand I am currently trying to get 2x12" fully loaded daily use bls with a power up (if possible) but iI know theat some of the guys are away competein unfortunatly my fabricator is coming in 2 weeks to finish of the car and buld the enclosure and I dont have my subs i have had a quote for the subs and the shipping but i can t seem to order them or do I just order them thru the website you see I live in australia and the postage is like 135 bucks each sub which is not that bad but will that be put on the bil…

Well, I ordered my BL 18" on Monday, 5 days later............yippee! Super fast order. Thanks to the whole gang at FI. BTW... Ive never seen a stiffer sub. gotta love it!

Would it be ok to put the subs forward and port back into the car through the arm rest in the back seat. I was thinkin of doin sealed, but think i am hooked on ported enclosures. i will be doin a small cut-through behind the arm rest in the back seat where it could port into the car. what do you more experienced installers think??? Also, would I be better off using aero ports pointing into this opening or just use the basic port?

i'm looking in to get getting 4 fi ssd 12's. i was wondering how much power i should put to them? is 4000 watts good enough?

Sorry for making a post about this, it just seems to get answered alot faster than emails. I got a speedy 10 minute response the first day about sending my sub in, but once I sent it out, I never got another email reply. okay i have 2 amps strapped..........so if i strapped the 2 to a 1 ohm load it splits the load so that each amp is receiving a 1/2 ohm load? that makes it unstable if its a 1 ohm stable amp rite.......

well with a late start and my CD started skipping I did a 140.7 in street beat and took first in my 3 moddified class with the BTL18 so thanks again Fi.

I know the SQ of the Fi Q 12" is good. but will it still bump good in a 2^3 foot box off of 1200 rms???
