This might've been answered before, as most new topics in the forum usually have been, but I thought Fi didn't use to charge for shipping subs? Wasn't it included in the price of the sub before??

Say I made a 4 cubic foot box put a BL15 inside with 1500watts rms, then used the same box popped in a BTL15 in the same box with 3000watts rms. Would the BTL be much louder. I'm a little confused to how much watts make a difference in car audio, everytime someone asks if they should go for 1 powerful sub, or 2 less powered subs, people always vote for the 2 subs due to cone area. Would the btl make you feel and hear noticably more bass then the bl with my given senario?

My amp has a signal voltage adjustment range of 150mV - 5V (RCA Input). And my question is do I set the sub. output level from the MX-3 Bass controller to 5V? If it helps I have a RF T2500-1bd amp. Thanks for any response.

I had a pair of Q 12's sealed and wasnt a fan. Loved one ported but had trouble selling single. I got good deal on a BL 10. Whats optimum tune for daily. I read 32hz. If I tune it to 30 would it be noticeable difference.

i have a 3 inch by 12 inch port that goes in 9 inches which means its tuned to 32 hz ... if i maybe woulda made it thinner and went back farther could it of been louder?

Hi I just got my 12" BL and I'm starting the box for it. The box will be about 2.6 ft^3 and tuned to 33Hz I was just wondering if a 3" port would work or if i should use a 4" port. I'd like to know if there is any difference in SQ or output with a different diameter port.

well got a BTL today. and when installing it i couldn't decide whether to take the logo off the bottom or leave it.. i left it.. should i take off the logo on the bottom of the magnet? i have the cooling option and the hixmcoil option. it didn't seem like sticker i should've taken off.. i just played it for like 5+ hours and it was fine. then i looked at some BTL pics and none have it that aren't already used.. only just unboxed ones have it.. should i take it off or what? thanks.

Which is louder for a single fq?? How is an 8th order like? I know 6th is ported in ported. I am trying tomake a box to peak extremely high at one note.

I'm putting my first system in the backseat of my 2004 Ford F150. What I would like to do is put 2 BL12's back there and run them off of either a Kicker ZX2500.1 or 2 ZX1000.1's, but I have several questions. I want to wire them to 2ohms to get the full potential out of my amps, so will I need to get the subs with dual 1 or dual 2 ohm voice coils? As far as a box goes, I plan on getting a custom slot ported box made. I ran my measurements through a program and it came back with these specs: Net Airspace- 2.5 cu. ft. per sub Port Volume- 1.586 cu. ft. Port Area- 80.39 sq. in. Alright, So I Have a couple of questions. Currently I am running 1/0 to a saz-1500d and a 15" Fi BL with p chamfer. My question is i'm considering buying my friends 15" BL so I can run them both, his sub does not have a p chamfer, Is that going to be a huge difference in power or sound? My friend sugested that with the right electrical set up I could possible run my 1500d at .5 ohm. I'm not sure about that. Any suggestions and Info would be appreciated. Thanks

The foam on the top of the basket didn't have the mounting holes drilled in it. Also, the holes were a tad small for a 1/4" bolt. I saw a thread on here before where someone drilled theirs out to accommodate 1/4" bolts, but I've never heard anything about the holes not going through the foam. Is this normal, or did they just forget to put the holes in mine?

Alright i aalready asked this before but never really got an answer. What do you think would be louder 2 12" SSD's each getting 750-1000 watts or a BL 18 getting 1500-2000. Please dont say it depends on the install. lets just say they are in there optimal enclosures.

i saw an ad on craigs for 2 loaded btls, and im pretty much wondering if there is any way to tell if there fully loaded or not???

I know what the universal option is for but I was wondering does this make the sub weaker? I'm ordering two dual 1s and it says if you don't get the universal option then your sub will be optimized per the coil resistance. Any help would be appreciated.
