Just picked up one my BTL motors, plan on getting another soon. And I am working on a new box as well. I will be giving a Sundown3000 to each BTL, my question is can I safely tune the box low? I wanted to tune around 29-30hz but I have been told tuning that low with that much power on them is not a good idea.

  4. I am planning on possibly doing 2 18" BTL's in pretty much the optimum enclosure to be put in the back of a Tahoe. Ported to the back, subs upward running about 2500-3000 watts each for daily. I am newer to all of this and hate to ask this stupid question, will that get loud as hell??? I would like to compete and wondering if this would be good for daily and competition. Wish I could do 4 18's, but I doubt I can afford that much power, LOL!!! As I said, I am very new to all of this and learning, so any info would be great... Thanks

In my first post about this you said something about power handling increases. Is that still possible and if so would it cost more money? Also could you check to see if I meet the free shirt requirement? I hope my sub gets there soon bc I cant wait to have it back. Hit me back with any info.

As the title suggest, can I resell or trade back the 15" SSD I have that is still in great shape for some credit for purchase of a "bigger" and "badder" sub? Looking for 15" BL with a few options and different ohm load. Advice? Input? PMs? Please let me know! Just thought I would post here for Nick or Scott or Shawn to provide input, or tell me to take it to PM if necessary. Bob

Ive sent a couple of E-mails to Nick but have not gotten any updates yet. I ordered a recone on June 17th for a 15" BTL triple stack magnets D1 with white dustcap lettering My name is Matt and my email is [email protected] and my tracking is 1ZX7497Y0343439336 I am getting rather frustrated considering the BTL is sold and I am just waiting on the recone so I can recone it and get it shipped to the buyer. I understand Fi is a busy company hand building there subs. I just want a little update

This is my first box. I just wanted to know what everyone thought about it. It will be made of 3/4 MDF and its for a 15" FI Q. Its tuned to 29hz, and is about 4.5cuft. I have a crude drawing below. Just tell what you think. Thanks.

My system is going to be for daily driving , I have both my amps, both my subs, and my box is on the way. Ive heard alot of conflicting replies though about the amount of power im throwing to the BL's. They are RF1500's but the birth sheet rates them at about 1700, so pretty much each sub will get around that much if my electrical is good enough. My question is, will the loaded BL's be able to take this daily?

  16. Hello, So there has seem to be some confusion lately about the N series, and I wanted to start a topic to clear things up for the normal users who may or may not know what to buy. So could anybody that either works at F.i, or anybody that has and tested any of their N series equipment, please explain their use and purpose clearly. For example, what is the difference between the BTL N1, and the BL for instance. Why so many different lines and different job specific equipment that may confuse the consumer or may be overwhelmed by so many options? As of right now, the website has 6 total different lineups, and if you include the BTL series, you have a …

Big Island guy, on O'ahu for school. Was looking at RE's SXs, but now I'm really leaning heavily toward Fi's BL 12" after reading online. 1. Can you quote me shipping cost (USPS if its cheapest without being super slow) to 96816 2. If this is non-competition, wanting a solid daily-driver that can handle my old Kicker 1200.1 which if any of the additonal options should I be looking at (i.e. cooling, flatwind, etc.) Thanks for any info, I've been building my own systems for about 8 years but haven't had the pleasure (or so I hear) of working with Fi products yet.
