Is 1800 watts rms too much for a BL daily in 2.25 cubes at 32 hz? also how loud are these subs? this will be in a regular cab silverado.

What up guys! I know I have been a pain trying to plan my setup, been doing it forever and a day now, lol. For the longest time I didn't heed many of your warnings, but tonight for some reason all your warnings hit me. I was thinking of jumping from my two little 12" RF P3's to 2 15" BTLs fully loaded. Money, time, patience, and the willingness to upgrade wasn't my issue, it was the BIG jump factor. I don't think I am ready to take such a huge jump from two weaklings to two way above monsters....so instead I'm gonna go with 2 15" BL's. im lookin into buyin an fi bl, and i have an RF T10001bd amp rated at 1486 watts at 1 ohm, would this be enough power for a daily BL if it is wat options should i consider?? i was thinkin get just the cooling (i also got a kicker zx1500.1 rated at 1706 watts at 2 ohms, and i would get the sub loaded w/out extreme leads) thanks

Just got my Fi SSD 15" and built my box. The box is 4.3 cubic ft. tuned to 42hz. i know thats a little high but it sounds pretty good. What do you think? I'll be doing a blow-through in my 83 S-10 soon and this will go in it. Heres a video of the build. and heres some pictures

ok well i bought 2 subs a few months back and one of em ended up blowin. so i got scotts number and called him. he told me to send it in and theyd look at it and try n fix it. it has been about 2 months now since i sent it off and i havnt heard from them since. i have emailed scott and nick and ive tried calling scott and no answer what so ever. i understand they are busy but i would atleast think they could answer a phone. i mean seriously......2 months. hopefully one of them will answer me on here

Ok if everything goes smooth I should have 4 ssd 12's. They are dual 2s, (the last version not the new ones) comming my way. The question I have for you guys is how many do you think I should use and what type of box. If its 4th or 6th order I will have to pay for a design (not a big deal). ok, i got my two 18" BLs in a box i built, designed by TTB. this box is like 10cf gross. it is small. i am sorta dissapointed. need a bigger box. i would like subs up and port back tuned to 32-34hz. my desired outside deminsions are 42.5 wide x 24 tall x 28 deep. i will add the top double baffle making it just under 25" tall. can anyone help with this? email - [email protected]

Need a solid amp, roughly 4-5000w, around $1000 to power 2 18" BTLs. Ideas? What electrical am I going to need? Can I get away with 1 HO alt and a few batteries?

A while back I posted a topic about one of my subs having a softer suspension than the other and I knew this would happen because one was bought like several weeks before the other but figured eventually they both should level out to have the same stiffness of suspension but that isn't the case. After doing some testing last night a couple of buddies of mines who happens to be a serious competitors bought it to my attention and said it may cause somethings such as cancellation or something then again it may be nothing but you never know. I am planning on possibly doing 2 18" BTL's in pretty much the optimum enclosure to be put in the back of a Tahoe. Ported to the back, subs upward running about 2500-3000 watts each for daily. I am newer to all of this and hate to ask this stupid question, will that get loud as hell??? I would like to compete and wondering if this would be good for daily and competition. Wish I could do 4 18's, but I doubt I can afford that much power, LOL!!! As I said, I am very new to all of this and learning, so any info would be great... Thanks

Alright so im going to have a pretty big box in the back seat of my quad cab, 35w 31h 17d before displacement of the sub and wood. The cab in a 99 dodge really isnt big, so its a big box and big sub in a small space. What do you think the tuning should be? i want it to get loud and low, and i was thinking 30hz. (actually like 29.7 or something) opinions? Also the sub and port will be on the 31x35 side of the box on opposite ends. Or should i center the sub?

In my first post about this you said something about power handling increases. Is that still possible and if so would it cost more money? Also could you check to see if I meet the free shirt requirement? I hope my sub gets there soon bc I cant wait to have it back. Hit me back with any info.

My system is going to be for daily driving , I have both my amps, both my subs, and my box is on the way. Ive heard alot of conflicting replies though about the amount of power im throwing to the BL's. They are RF1500's but the birth sheet rates them at about 1700, so pretty much each sub will get around that much if my electrical is good enough. My question is, will the loaded BL's be able to take this daily?
