Just wondering if i can get a flat dish style dustcap with my 15" RE SE recone. I'm not really into the "boob" style dustcaps as they blow off too much lol. Also what is the power handling with the integrated leads and d2 ohm flatwind coil?

I now have a re se 12" running off of a hifonics amp that is putting 900rms at 2 ohms to the sub, in a 2 cubic foot enclosure ported at 32hz. would it be a sufficient upgrade to get a Fi Q 12", and put it in the same box with the same amp? i would run the amp at 1 ohm. it's 1 ohm stable at 1200rms. and both subs are within the specifications of the box. ups and downs of this upgrade? very noticable difference because of xmax? (RE=18mm, Q=27mm)

Hi, How can get a hold of FI Recone deportment other than e-mail? The problem is that I been waiting to send a payment for 2 RE XXX 12" recone kits, I have e-mail them several time on where to send it, but I don't know why is taking them so long to get back at me on this.

Would FI Recone parts work to recone an older (3-4 years old) XXX 15? possibility of getting 2 blown ones for basically free. Thanks !

Down to business, I have aquired an RE XXX v3 motor from a craigslist sale. (paid 150 for it) Its spiders were off of the landing and luckily no one who had the sub knew that was the problem, Hopefully I can glue them down and the coil didn't rub too much. I have a pair of older (boob cone) RE XXX 15s quad 1.7 coils. I would like to reuse the motors on a pair of 18s and would like to know the cost. I have E-mailed FI twice about this, once on feb 27 and again a week ago on may 7th with no response so I am guessing they are not making it through for some reason. ok, i have two q 15's w/ bp power and I was just wandering what the actual power handling of these is with the bp power? I want to power these with an IA 40.1 if not too much and my box is 8.18 cuft. tuned to 27hz. I also have two optima 34/78 yellowtops in the rear and a red top in the front with dual runs of 1/0 to the rear and dual 1/0 will be going into the amp also. thanks

I'm getting a 12" Fi BTL fully loaded dual 1 and I'm trying to find out if how i've wired my Q and BL in the past is right or not. I have a Clarion DPX11551 that's doing 1600 rms @ 2ohms. Before I wired the sub with the positive from the amp to one coil and then the negative from the amp to the other coil and then the negative from the other coil to the postive on the other coil. Is that how it should be wired to get a 2 ohm load? And is it possible to get a 1ohm load from a dual 1 sub?

Thanks a million Scott for helping me get my SX recone kit. it took me a while but i finally got the order in and finally received the recone kit for this sub that's been sitting around for over a year. the packaging was EXCELLENT. nothing on the box shifted around or got banged up. well in the order i completely forgot to mention that i need CA Glue. though buying a recone kit i would have assumed that you send out CA glue with the kit, but anyways, How about can i get some CA Glue to set this sub up? if i have to buy it since the order was completed please let me know.

After waiting a little over a month I was excited when the shipping guy called and said my sub showed up. Then he said it felt funny so he opened it before the FedEx guy left. I'm a noob so bear with me. I would like to have some trunk space available after i put my box in. Interested in a ported box I really want the 15BL but i am afraid it'll take up to much trunk space but i can settle for a 12BL if i need too. If i choose to go with 12BL or the 15BL, what dimensions and tunning spec so i go with? I listen to old school rap, trance and a little bit of alternative rock. Greetings all, I'm in need of a single new 12" sub for use with my current amplifier and sealed box (daily driver), and was wondering if any of the Fi products would work nicely. Amp: Phoenix Gold ZX500 (rated at 600RMS bridged, 4-ohm load) PG websites states the amp may be underrated by 5 to 15% - so maybe closer to 700RMS? Hi, I recently ordered a recone kit with a 15" basket for a btl n2. I saw, on bongo International (the shipper to my country) that there is only one package. I wonder if the basket is in the package. I could not see it on the pics provided. My sub is a 12" and I want to recone to a 15". I've ordered the good size for the recone. I hope it will come complete.

Hey Nick or Scott ... need some help with an MT, I need a recone by the 4th for a local sound off (if I can get it next-day'd or 3 day guarantee UPS or whatever) but was wondering what options I'd have when it come down to the recone ... I'm throwing ~4k at the sub for burps, I want a dual .7 instead of the dual 1.4 it is now so I can run it at 1.4 or .35 for burps, but suspension/coil wise could it be upgraded? Also as far as the spiders are concerned upgrading to like 5 or 7 layer woven? I sent Nick an email yesterday or the day before ... just need this quick, so I hope it didn't find the spam filter
