I have an Elemental Designs motor, I was told there is a recone that fits perfect for this motor.. I need a basket + a recone.. I'm just trying to get quoted as of right now, I AM going to buy it though.. Model number of THE motor: 12K44, May 2003. Not sure if this is the right place for this, i apologize if it gets moved. So my concern is if sub-zero temperatures have any effect on subwoofers or their electrical counterparts. I know it seems stupid but i want to make sure i don't harm anything. I'll be attending michigan technological university in the upper peninsula of michigan next year where its not un-common for temperatures to reach below zero in the winter. IS there anyway that prolonged exposure to those sort of temperatures could hurt my btl? or my sundown amp? thanks

Will a 12 bl sound good in a box 1.9 cuft tuned to bout 33 hz? Or should i get a q n put in a 2 cuft box sealed. Which louder? Im thinking of running 2 bls on a Aq2200.

I want some different 15"s that will not neccesarily hit harder than my CVX'S but hit Lower and Sound better... The box will be sealed around 2.4 cubic ft per chamber....can't fit a ported box for 15"s in my car and i already had two 12" cvx's in a sealed box at 33hz and to me it didn't sound good or hit the lows like i wanted... The cvx's hit hard but still not low enough and they lack in sq also So what subs do you suggest will fit my needs?? Thanks

Im getting ready to order three fi ssd with bp option, but i want to make sure i get the right ones for my application. I will be running 3 of the 12 inch ssd's off of 2500 watts at 1 ohm. my question is, do i need dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm subs? What is the actual coil impedance? Are they dead on 1 or 2 ohm, or are the impedances actually lower or higher?? I want to do 3 dual 1's ran in series and then paralleled all together at .67 ohm, but if the actual driver impedance is lower than 1 ohm per coil, the total impedance may be a lot lower and i don't want to risk burning up my amp. Hey all im new here and have been eyeballing a fi btl 12 for a while now and would like to get yalls opinion on what all options to go with, my scenario will be just for listening to, no competitions just a daily sub, any opinions or comments would be great, and what about amps? i am currently running a 12 l7 in a 2.0 cubic ft ported box at 32 htz with a power accoustik amp have had this set up for bout 2 years and no problem, but i have heard people put down there amps alot....opinions or comments? How much space do you need between the box and subwoofer? I have 6.25" deep box and i really want a pair of ssd's but with a mounting depth of 6" i want to make sure that ventilation and performance wont suffer.thanks-Dave.

im looking to purchase either 2 BL 18's or 2 MTX T9515-44 15's im not sure what amp to get, iwas thinkin on going with autotek but ive heard people say they aint very stable, if not one of those, what would be a good amp to run those subs?

hmmm on my way home i saw this focus hatchback with a huge FI AUDIO sticker on the entire rear windshield. its a 2dr hatchback, white with blue graphics and blue rims, + lambo doors. i know he used to have like 4 15" power acoustics and everyone said it sounded terrible..... now hes running FI im guessing, wonder what he has....? is he possibly sponsored by Fi??? palm coast FL btw.

1 of my BL subs blew and ive been trying to get this all sorted out and sent in but thats a different story. i was wondering if i could still play the one that isnt blown. ive already taken the blown one out of the box. i dont plan on turning it up high at all. just enough so i can hear music. is that possible or is it risky?

I've already seen the tracking information on UPS about the BTL18 and BTL15 that my Aunt ordered for me. I was kinda worried when I saw the shipping weight on both packages. One package weighed at 69lbs which i assumed was the BTL18, while the other weighed in at 55lbs. I was expecting the BTL18 to have a 72lb weight considering that its fully loaded and packaged with wood reinforcements as to having wood reinforcement is very important because im gonna have it shipped to the Philippines together with the BTL15. Im just too concerned about their weight because I was informed that the BTL18 should weigh around 72lbs while the BTL15 should weigh around 69lbs. and im startin…

OK so i have a few questions.... in my girls car i have a fosgate T1500-1Bd 1500 rms or so at 1ohm, so what sub should u get the dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm? and how would it be wired? second setup is my car, i have a fosgate T2500-1bd and was wondering if i should get 2 subs rated at dual 2ohm or 2 subs at dual 1 ohm? thank you guys

i need help on desiding between a 15 inch fi bl or the si mag d2 its going in te trunk of a mustang 01 in a custom ported box and a HIFONICS BXi1206D amp so i never heard nether of theese subs so i need som opinons on which you think you be better for the amp and car and of corse witch sounds the best

i'am planing on buying a FI Q. i' am just worried because i will ship it to another country and i might have trouble with it if it has a defect or when it gets broken. does FI get this kind of problem? wherein the costumer returns the subs because it has a defect? or you just get this once in a while?

box is sealed each sub gets 2.3qf will get 2nd sub soon.. or should i go with single box 4.3 qf and a single BL ?? i like my hair to shake its relaxing.. but was wondering if 2 fiq 15s will sound louder and clean bass vs 1 15bl on 4.3qf.. i have a pretty good front stage.

I wasn't quite sure where to post this so I will just do it here. I have been working on a huge research paper for school regarding some topics in math. I am sure some of you remember me asking questions earlier. At first I was going to leave everything silent, but have decided against that just in case several professors wonder what sub I used. So, would it be okay if I printed your companies name and the findings in my paper. All the paper covers is designing ported enclosures, how to design them, the math involved, etc. It goes into no detail at all about the actual build of your sub or any other technical issues. Money was sent last month, Apr. 11th. for a 12" BL with a few options. Order is to Canada, I tried e-mailing but no replies, and it's been two weeks since. I would like to know the status of my order, how can I do that properly?

Shawn is selling three 12" X's first and foremost Scott....DO you have the parts to build me a fourth one in a Dual 4ohm config? I know at one point you said the parts were going to be rolled into AA and if I cant get a fourth then my plans will change. If by chance you have a fourth how much space do these subs require ported? how small of a box I could get away with? I also am willing to use aero ports if that will cut down on size any. Will I see better bass race results with four 12" X's as opposed to two 12" SSD's running off the same 1500 watt amp? Amp will be determined once I choose the subs but I am looking at the Kicker ZX series. I was going to go with the Q's …

Wow. that describes it. Last night I heard a 15" btl ran off of 1500 watts and it was so loud. I just ordered a 15" bl on thursday and if my sub gets any where near as loud as that one im gonna be pretty happy. After getting that little taste of fi im impressed.
