Hey I'm just wondering when you guys swithced from one big magnet to 4 pie shapped magnet like on the new RE XXX's? Is thier any increase in power handling, and is thier anything internaly diff with them? Can they be ran with another new BTL that has the old style single magnet? Heres some pics not my sub I seen it on another forum. I remember some subs having pie shapped wedges between the basket and motor was that the cooling before and you switched to this or was that just a spacer for more excursion because some times i seen them on them and some times i dont.

how would 1 12" ib3 sound running off of a kicker zx500.1 in a ported 2 cubic foot box at 32hz?

Is this a good combo, I chose PDX because I currently have it, I also have a sound processor for it to adjust the bass because the pdx doesn't have one =/. I am getting rid of my 1243d Type X. Also it is going to be in the Type X box at 2.0 ft^3, 33-36hz, 1.82 net. Is that good?

well, i got on fi site to order my ssd 18's, and noticed first that there was no charge now for the cooling option on the bl's. When did they change it, and does anybody know if they have the magnets or whatever they were waiting on for the BL's? I may be able to just go ahead and get the BL now, well order one now and one in couple weeks. thanks

Hi i was wondering if somebody know the pecifications of a fully loaded btl 18?? im getting ready to build a box for it but fi has taking the old btl out of the website and i know the pecs, does anybody knows them thanks.

Scott/Nick, I got a recone kit from you the other day and went to recone it for a customer and took the tape of the motor for the first time and the top plate on the motor seems to have shifted . Now onto the question, if i send the motor in could you reset the top plate? Corey

Ok loud not the greatest but the best I can do with my limited trunk space of a scion tc. I whined before here about loosing my trunk space currently! Originally with that RE SX sub it was in a 2.0cuft box tuned to 32hz and I hit 139db with a TL mic (amp running at 2ohm so roughly 900-1000watts). Just wondering if production has begun on the BL's with 4" voice coils? Ordered my 12" on black Friday so I've very excited about its arrival. Haven't seen anyone posts, pics or info about them on the forums so I'm thinking no one has them yet. I am gona put 2 18'' Fi Q in my truck. I am not sure what to buy as a amp should i buy like the sax3500 or 2 sax1500(or propose anything) And would i need a extra battery for that or its fine?

well i just received my first Bl loaded 12" from FI. holy sh..........it! This new speaker blows my two previous Type R 12's away!!!!!!!! Much deeper lows and the highs are much more noticable. Due to money restraints, it is even on the same RF1000w/rms amp i previously had as well as it is even in a 1.25 cu.ft. Q-logic ported sub box!!! I can probably go with a bigger box and amp too huh? this is my plan so, if any one can help with ideas it would help out (new at this)......... I will be purchasing a second sub and I am having a sub box built to FI specs for the two to fit in Ford Focus trunk. Will also be buying (from somewhere) a Sundown 3000d to power both and …

I have an 89 Mercury Tracer, I have 7.7 cubic ft (internal volume) {39 in W, 23 in H, 18 in D} I would like the box to be tuned to about 32 HZ. I will be running about 3500 watts to the sub. any help would be appreciated, I do not know that much about tuning an enclosure.

well as soon as i found out that the website was updated i checked it out and found they had shirts. WOOHOOO!! finally. i ordered 2 on the spot. lol, well today i see my 2 shirts have already arrived and i just wanted to say thanks MUCH and the ship time was superb for non-built items. lol. now i can rep yall out! oh, and my BTL is running strong off the 3k it's getting. lol.

hi know everyone from fi is pretty busy with the new btl line but i ordered a bl 15 about a month ago (april 19) and i still no ups tracking email or sub by mail. i emailed nick a couple times in a row but received no answer. i just want to know if the sub has been sent out or not because it says in the forums that you're supposed to receive a tracking number when the sub is shipped. email is [email protected] if you want to reach me. any news at all would be nice. thx - phil

hey nick, i was unclear on what had happened to that sx15 recone with the power options. i got a message from you that said it had shipped last tuesday, however my tracking information never changed from "billing information received" that was on the 14th. i haven't heard from you by email yet so i figured i might try here.... -sean

I havent really seen anyone hook 3 subs up to one amp, is this possible without causing big impedence problems. If it is, what would be a good amp to run 3 1ohm subs, or should i get the 2 ohm version?

Everyone will find out shortly! Hopefully by the end of next week to be precise. Specs: (2) 12" Fi SSD's 4cf enclosure, braced and 45'd, 75+ sq inces of port tuned to 38hz Autotek 1900.1D should be close to 2.3k watts @ 14v, Hopefully around 1150 watts per sub. 2 YT G31's 220a HO alt 2 runs of 0/1 I have faith they will, we had 2 SSD's on a SAZ-1500 @ .5 ohm and they took it like a CHAMP. Don't worry, we will have pics and vids no matter what the outcome. If they blow, then I guess it will be time for another pair of BL's.

Hey guys I need some fast help......Through a friend of a friend I know somebody selling a fully loaded btl 15" 1 ohm......only problem is I want to put it in a 2002 cavalier trunk and I am not sure it will fit. It does not come with a box right now so I will have to have one made....my question should I even bother buying the sub? Is there any chance of being able to make this beast fit lol.....I know I should go get my trunk measurements but its late and dark were I live so I will have to get that tomorrow. My amp has a signal voltage adjustment range of 150mV - 5V (RCA Input). And my question is do I set the sub. output level from the MX-3 Bass controller to 5V? If it helps I have a RF T2500-1bd amp. Thanks for any response.

So i have been reading on and on about different organizations and competitions and am tired, so I thought I would just ask and see if someone knows. Is there a category that I will be competing in with the following setup. This is in a cut through of a truck with a camper shell. 4 18" BTLs in a wall 2 amps, 1 for each set of BTLs other amps for mids and highs As I said, I am tired of reading. The few times I thought i figured out that i could compete in a certain event there was a little note saying a truck with a cuthrough was not allowed. are there any where a truck cut through is allowed??
