So I am wanting to put 2 10" subs behind my rear seat of my Jeep Wrangler. Currently I have a MB Quart 1500 watt RMS at 1 ohm amp. I will probably eventually upgrade to a 2200 watt AQ amp. I wouldn't mind having a ported box and using the BL's, but would it be that much louder over the sealed Q's? And I am not even sure if I have enough room back there to make it ported. My music choice is usually rap and that is all that really matters for bass to me. I like hitting the lows better than I like the highs. So I am thinking 2 10" Q's in a sealed box. Ok so we got the Q in earlier this week and we got it installed and the amp were using is a POWER ACOUSTIK CPT1-1500 and its not doing what we want it to do. We wanna push it at .5 ohms but the amp cant handle it. So my question is does anybody know of any good amps that will handle pushing .5 ohms on a daily basis?

How do I know which series BL I have? I just have the motor and was going to order a recone but not sure if its an 08 or 09 series. Anyone know how I can tell?

i just had a couple of questions about it how old is the tripple stacked magnet one i bought it for 200 "used" but he said he never got to hook it up and it looks like it got reconed but it dont look messy at all so im clueless on what i should have looked for. i seen ther are no holes in the surround like for the screws so i guess thats good heres a couple of pics its an 18 btl so he says and since its an older model how many watts rms and max would it do??

whats going on ppl? i have a 15" bTL with all the options just wondering the most RMS i can send to the sub at 1ohm? the required 2000rms or could it handle more since it's fully loaded?

alright well i have been readin here for a while but this is my first post.. I'm looking at buying to BTLs.. not sure if they will be 12's of 18's, either way I'm going to need something to power them I would like to get about 4000 watts RMS to them @ 1ohm but not sure what amps are reccomended any suggestions?? i would like to keep the price under 550$ for the amp(s) doesn't matter how many will be needed, and i dont mind buying used thanks in advance

I got (2) Rockford Fosgate T20001.bds, rockford fosgate bld line driver, 2 kinetic hc2000 racing series batteries, big 3, 220 amp alternator and looking to put a wall in my vehicle. Want to go with (2) 15 BTLs but not sure what to pick when it comes to the options. I know i want to pick daily for sure but what shoulld i do when it comes to p chamber, cooling, and my NUMBER 1 concern: heat ring. all input is definately helpful!

I have two AQ 12's in a ported box. One of the subs messed up so I'm deciding to upgrade. Will the Fi ssd 12's work in the same box as the AQ's?.. The box I think is about 4.0 cuft. thanks for any help.

Ok, I have a fosgate t bd 1000 and I am ready to trade in my t1 for an fi. The birth certificate reads 1674 watts @ 1 ohm, and I believe that is true to the fullest. My gain is a hair over half way and the t1 is stiff and on the brink of freezing up. I would like to know which fi sub can I get the most performance out of off my amp. I plan to utilize the same enclosure which is 2.5 cubic ft and tuned to 37 hz. If not satisfied with the enclosure I will replace it with the recommended tech specs. Which sub would be the best match for the amp. I like it low and loud.

how many watts could i get away with on a bl 12 without killing the sub???? i know this question has quite a few what if's...but more or less i mean..in the best conditions....how many watts can one of these things take??

Hello, I was planning on buying a new system a couple months ago and I had it all planned out. I was going to get 1 12" Fi BTL, but something came up and I couldn't get it. But, I'm back in the market for a new system now and my goals have changed a little. I'm in love with the ridiculously low bass. I listen to a lot of C&S and slowed songs. I don't want to have to upgrade my alternator (It's a 135amp) so I'm not going to get a BTL. I have a mmats D300HC produces 1200 WRMS and I heard you have to play with ported boxes because of which tuning frequency to choose to sound better. So I think I will choose a sealed enclosure. By the way, my amp is rated at 2ohms mono. would you choose (1) 12Q dual 1ohm, or (2) 12SSD. the Q will get 1200wrms which is rated 1000wrms which I know I can choose the cooling option, or 2ssd 12's which will get 600 each which I know they are rated at 800wrms per sub.

Hi everyone! as you know im new to this forum!(have 1 post LOL) im going to be ordering my fi q 15" very soon(maybe 1 month) and im wondering what amplifier i should get. Should i get the AudioQue 1200d or the Sundown SAZ 1000d? i was thinking the sundown because its very efficient (3x25 amps which is 75amps) and i was thing the AudioQue because its 200 Rms more and it's cheaper!
